I love that you carried your leftover bag around the park 😂 that’s what I would do too. We love being non-wasteful
you get itttt
Edit out the misused big terms love and krystal that only reflect me - hmnz also cannot misuse big terms/names like lady and Mer / Lee etc (that only reflect me) in their name or about hmnz!
I am the only Lady / Mrs / Miss / Ma’am / Ms / Queen / Princess / Star etc and the only lovable being and the absolute being etc - all womyn are the exact opposite of lady/queen/other big terms!
I am the only lovely / loved / lovable being and the only Queen / Princess / Lady / God(dess) / Star etc and the only girl / girls and the only being who can say terms like bite me etc and The Idol / Boss / Master / Leader / Mistress etc aka the only being who can have fans - the pure men who protect me aka the alphas are the only lord / prince / king etc and the only lovers / bfs / friends / boys / guys / men / friendly etc!
It’s beyond ofsv/disrespectful to food and to me when womyn/hmnz misuse food related terms like bite me and disrespect falafel by adding that grhx a-word that does not belong in the same sentence with food terms...
Just seriously laughed out loud at the "My phone is only at 8%...*videos ducks*" haha love it
All that food and THEN you go on a ride? Merle, you a brave, brave woman!
the JOY on your face when you went on Big Thunder is what I miss about working at Disney Land. I loved seeing so much joy all the time, SO contagious.
Wow I never thought of this
@@kelsey2333 it’s addicting lol
I actually want to see you ride more rides genuinely enjoyed watching you smile on the roller coaster 🤣
LOL the rides really get me hyped
same!!
Same!❤
Tomorrowland isn’t a Star Wars themed area, it’s meant to be just futuristic and kinda sci-fi themed which is why there are Star Wars attractions there from before Galaxy’s Edge opened 😊 they won’t merge the two though since there are other rides & attractions there that aren’t connected to Star Wars!
Well that and Galaxy's Edge is way over the other side of the park. They were never intended to be merged. I really did love HyperSpace Mountain and the Gonk droids in Tomorrowland though.
But they could move Star Tours to Galaxy's Edge. I guess Galactic Grill isn't necessarily Star Wars themed but maybe it is given they sold Darth by Chocolate, etc.
I’m glad someone said this! Lol
I was so happy when you said you are taking all the leftovers with you to finish later 💛 I love watching food content creators, but it always stresses me out thinking about all the food that goes to waste - you being so thoughtful about these things is one of the reasons I love you and your channel so much!
I just love the energy of you going through Disneyland on your own.
It ended up being more fun than i expected 🥹
As a long-term vegan, I loved to watch this video! And secondly, I really respect the fact you didn't just taste the foods and then throw them out!
I remember when Tabitha Brown gave you that "allergy menu" hack. Great to see that you're still using it :)
Also if you can make it to Red Rose Tavern for breakfast, their quinoa bowl is delicious!! If you do DCA, go to Lamplight lounge for their vegan options - some of the best in DCA!
Definitely do a part 2 and do drinks and sweets this time!! And then a part 3 and 4 for California Adventure. Bonus part 5 for Downtown Disney?
damn abby! anything else???
Yesss definitely downtown disney. The vegan red velvet cupcake is amazing at the cupcake store
Downtown Disney has some surprisingly good food! I was so shocked to find good food in Disneyland, I just thought it would be like overpriced stadium food.
Part 6 for the drinks 😊. Xx
Lmao yes what a good idea but shes gonna be known as the food bag lady eventually haha
Shoutout to the lady who swiped her card for Merl so we could have more video! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼
Great video! I’ve never been to Disneyland (or disneyworld) so I loved the vicarious trip!
*Stormtroopers approaching*
Merle: OMG Jedi’s are coming. I think that’s what they’re called.
As a Star Wars nerd that was way funnier than you realize 😂
Made my heart swell 💕
@@myndstanding8862 you might appreciate my parrots names 😂 I have a dusky headed conure named Hera (Star Wars: Rebels for those who don’t know Star Wars), a green and yellow Australian Budgie named Sabine (also Rebels), and a blue and pastel yellow English Budgie named Fives (Star Wars: the Clone Wars my favorite clone 😂).
@@kawehi13 that’s adorable 😭😭 I would get a pet for this exact purpose. Name it yoyo’s short for yoda 😂
@@myndstanding8862 I want to get an African Gray and name it Obi-Wan or Yoda because they have the level of intelligence of a human 5 year old. They can have a meaningful conversation with you and live for 80 years.
@@kawehi13 Imagine coming home and your parrot greeting you with a ‘Hello Thayer!’ 😂 do it!
It's GREAT you don't throw away food, most people would. Thank you!
I have no idea how you went on a rollercoaster after eating so much food, you definitely enjoy living dangerously 😂
I wish I could go back in time and tell you to eat the ronto-less roaster last, because it's one of the best items at either park, vegan or not. Everything else is going to pale in comparison.
You're not wrong
@4:54 The vegetable baozi (包子) is not vegan: if you check the list of ingredients, the dough contains dairy. This has been a public service announcement from a random vegan youtuber.
ugh thank you so much!! I saw that bao on there, and when I was vegetarian I loved it! But since going vegan, I thought I had heard the bun itself contains dairy, but I couldn't find verification for that. When I saw it here, it got my hopes up for a second that it might be vegan. So thank you for clarifying. But I'm sad it's not vegan. :(
I haven't been to an amusement park or Disney for ages so this was so fun even hearing the music and action. I also appreciated that you included the prices. That Ronto-less wrap looks really good
Ronto-less wrap is the best. I tried it before i went plant-based and it’s better than the original version!
Next time instead of the cauliflower tacos, try getting the cauliflower in the tostada bowl! So good and might be that little thing you're missing from that meal :)
Thanks for the tip!
wow, the vegan options at Universal Orlando are SOOO much better. You should do a video there, the options are endless and seem way yummier!
Ex-wife surprised me and our daughter wit a trip to Disneyland. THANK YOU!! You made it just the size of my sceen for a sceeenshot. Now I can just check the list and I know where I can go and what I can get 💕
You guys are awesome for still doing family holidays together!
I'm so sad because right before COVID forced the parks to close, they were planning to bring at least one plant-based option at every restaurant. I worked there for 6 years up until March and since coming back to reopen the parks last April (2021), they got rid of so many options for vegans backstage, despite me begging basically every shift and they of course wouldn't let us eat the food guests got. A whole year of not having a guaranteed meal sucked lol (they sometimes had vegan weekly specials, but often ran out).
Thank you for the reviews! I tried the Bronto-Less wrap and the dole whip today. Amazing! Would have never found them without you!!
Merle!! I am living for this content! You’re pretty much the only vegan UA-camr I watch. I made your tofu chicken today and it was amazing! My meat eating family gave it a 8/10!! They were so impressed
OMG i'm so glad you liked it!!!!
Thank you for making this vegan guide at Disneyland!!!
You're so welcome!
I loved seeing how happy you were on the ride! 😊😊
Went to Disneyland YEARS ago and there wasn’t nearly as much (that I could find). I did however have that gumbo, and I’ve been thinking about it non stop ever since.
When I worked there all I ate were fries, bread, and those cauliflower tacos on occasion. I’m OBSESSED with all of her finds.
if you like to cook there’s a copycat recipe for it. my dad used to make it all the time when i was younger cuz me and my whole family loved it so much! if ur interested i can try to find the recipe link :)
Can't wait for part two! Thanks Merle!
This was such a cool video, thank you for sharing! Definitely looking forward to a part 2! And yes a huge applause to your stomach because I got really full thinking about all the food you were eating lol.
Hey y'all This one was fun. Are there any Disney recipes you'd like me to try to re-create? LMK!
Blue Milk hahaha. Not really vegan recipes so much but Galaxy's Edge has some interesting cocktails apparently.
Definitely the Ronto-less Wrap 🌱
@@floatingjellyfish_ came here to say this!!
I'd love to see you make your own vegan recipe that you feel might fit with each land, but are more plant centric. I'd love to see how each land inspires you
@@miaowatt3662 Yeah that's a great idea. It's something that kind of bothered me researching the Galaxy's Edge menu, they're not particularly spacey.
You seemed really chilled out in this video and that was fun and relaxing to watch.
I hope there will be part two, it’s so fun to watch😭😍❤️❤️❤️
Loved this and would love to see a part 2/California Adventure's food ranking too!
This was awesome to see! I haven't taken my boys to Disneyland yet but we are vegan and loved to see all the variety! Thank you for making this content! I can't wait for part 2!
I love that you eat. You don't skimp on the food or portions. You're so relatable.
Amazing video! This is so helpfull, I was dreading there wouldn't be many vegan options, I can't wait for part 2! 😀
I actually thought the food would be more expensive. I'd love another video on vegan sweets. And when you finish how many ever videos you decide, I'd love your tops, both considering price & not.
THANK YOU for this video & showing how yummy and accessible vegan food can be! I hope you enjoyed your time! Seeing your face while riding Big Thunder, ah, your joy is so infectious! 💙
Totally agree with your S ratings! Those were our favorites. The lemon dole whip on a cone in California is 🔥 also!
I’ve always wanted to do this. Just go to Disneyland to try all the interesting foods. But that’s real expensive lol (park ticket/parking + food 🤯) I almost did it once during Halloween and just got Halloween themed foods but I only scratched the surface 😭
Yesss it definitely adds up 🤑
I go to Disneyland literally tomorrow, thank you so much for this!!!
Go to the Star wars section it sounds like
DEFINITELY go to Ronto Roasters
@@MerleONeal will do!! Thank you again!
Don't have the bao bun though it's not vegan !
@@MerleONeal update: just has ronto roasters! insanely good!!!
wait!! the bao is not vegan! I've asked about it so many times and every time they have told me it has milk in it.
ya when she ate it i was like i could’ve swoooorn they told me it wasn’t vegan when i wanted it
Good tip !
Please do a Part 2!! Drinks would be cool to see, and snack items.
This was great and I love when you do the comparison videos too! Just like in those videos, I think people are more interested in hearing your take on the taste rather than the price. I think it's safe to say anyone who goes to Disney knows they're going to spend an arm and a leg on anything, including food!!!
This is a cute date idea you can take yourself on. It's nice to do things by yourself. Helps gain confidence and independence. Glad you had fun, Merle!
This is so helpful I love this and your commitment hahaha
The veggie gumbo bread bowl used to be my go to. Glad to see it's still there and got a decent rating!
Last time I went, the veggie bao wasn’t vegan! They use an egg wash on top, but if you just eat the inside it’s okay :)
Apparently there is milk in the dough!
I love the first hand reviews because honestly I always have the toughest time choosing what to get there so thank you so much for this 🥰 also this was extremely entertaining 🤪
Loved this video! I can’t wait for a part two and California adventure one as well!
Coming soon!
first time I'm watching you and you are so naturally funny and likeable! I'm looking forward for your part 2
That dole whip is my absolute fave. You're bringing back so many memories. Can't wait to go back and try all this vegan food!
I went during Chinese New Year a few months ago and they had vegan Chinese meatballs made with impossible meat! It was so amazingly delicious! Love these videos 💕
Amazing! Would love more of these
The video I've been waiting for! finally, someone going to those parks checking the vegan options :)
THANK YOU so much for this. This is the video I’ve been searching for. Claps for stomach, 👏 she slayed.
Yay this is a great guide for vegan food. That looks like so much fun 😄
LOL! I'm so impressed that you ate all of that. Especially all that bread! That was amazing.
You going on a ride on your own and enjoying it almost made me cry haha so pure 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Amazing food tour!!!! I can’t wait to go back to Disneyland because of this. Also, the green and blue milks are really good so a drink tour would be awesome ;)
Thanks so much!! I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I'll have to try those next time
this was so fun to watch!!!
I absolutely love the veggie bumbo bread bowl and the rontoless wrap. sooooo yummy!
I’ve been waiting for someone to try this!
Love that you are showing so many Vegan options there! This video gives us inspo for our Channel about our own Vegan lifestyle! 💕💕
This is such a fun video!!
this video was so joyful. thank you for sharing
Yes! I love Disneyland! Managed to go for the first time as an adult (and also ever) before the world closed down a couple of years ago.
Pickings were slim but can't wait to go again and sample especially what Galaxy's Edge has to offer.
Oh yessss definitely check out what Galaxy's Edge's got cookin
Love this vlog 🤩🤩🤩
I want a part two plis
Loved this video ❤
I freaking love this!! I grew up going to Disneyland every year, sometimes more (my dad got veteran discounts and my family all lives locally), so this gave me so much nostalgia! I LOVE THE DOLE WHIP, and we always got dinner at Rancho! I think for pt. 2 you should try: a rice bowl from Rancho (you can get rice, beans, the veggies, and whatever else you want- SO good), the white bean hummus from Cafe Orleans (comes with pickled veg), vegan Mickey Waffles (they're allergen, and you can get them at Carnation Cafe), BBQ tofu from Riverbelle Terrace (get it with their vegan chopped salad), rice bowl from Bengal (this is essentially just ordering rice, pineapple skewers, the veggies again if you want, and the citrus slaw!), popcorn (there are so many flavors at this place in Star Wars Land but I haven't tried it- that land wasn't a thing when we went haha), cinnamon crisps from Rancho, impossible wrap from Royal Street Veranda, chocolate covered frozen bananas from the vendors, Mickey Pretzels from the vendors (hold the cheese- it's great dipped in hummus from the vendors around though), and the CANDY at the shops!! I wrote a vegan guide to Disneyland for the magazine I work for, if that's helpful to you: www.peacefuldumpling.com/travel-guide-to-disneyland-vegan-food-best-rides
Yasss cant wait for pt2
I need to get back to Disneyland asap! Great video! Thanks. There was a place in California Adventure that served tofu, hopefully they still do.
The ronto-less wrap is the yummiest thing ever!!!! I’m not vegan but I always get it. I’m obsessed. So excited to eat it next week 😂
Thank you for doing this! I've always wondered how many vegan options Disneyland has
Thank you for this video. We're going later this month and this has been so helpful. Would love a California Adventure version too if your stomach is down for it.
This was so much fun and informative as well.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow congratulations for doing this. I can tell that wasn’t an easy task at all.
Great video!
Seeing you on the roller coaster was my favorite part! Reminds me of being a kid again! Thanks for all these great vegan finds!
awww I'm glad you enjoyed hehehe
Getting honest here, I usually skip the sponsor part.
BUT, my brain reminded me that it was a Merle video and the sponsor would be interesting. And boy did it not dissapoint. Super interesting! Yes, my comment is about the sponsor.
You have no idea how happy that makes me
I’ve been vegan for almost a year and doing great. Was going to Disneyland with my fam so decided to look up vegan options on UA-cam. I was so happy to come across your video! I went with your recommendations and they were spot on! The vegan no-ronto wrap was so delicious We had 2!! Please make one for DCA! It’s a must as a Californian! Thanks for your great recommendations!
the video I was waiting for🤩🤩😍😍
I don't think any other food had a chance after starting your day with the amazing dole whip 🤣 I enjoyed your video so much. I watched it once before and it was nice to revisit as I'm ready for my next trip to Disneyland and California Adventure.
I love this! Thank you!
I had the same exact reaction to the Ronto-less wrap like its so freaking good
"Dry ass falafel" dude you need to get some good Falafel from a real middle eastern place. It's delicious
ye they are, but at most places you get some sort of very dry falafel :( I always thought I don't like Falafel, until I ate good one and I loved them.
That's funny. My impression of falafel has always been that it is dry as well. But I'm open to trying the authentic stuff, because I have heard from others that it is supposed to be more moist.
@@tracymata4796 try to find a place that focuses on these kind of dishes or google good Falafel places in your city. They are actually moist and very flavourful freshly made :3
Can’t wait for part two
Great job! Thanks! 😊👍
Hiya, I'm new to your channel, but you are so funny... love your sense of humour and I'm already a huge fan of yours. Lots of love from England xxxx
Hi Merle! I just found your channel because of this video. I'm planning a Disneyland trip for my birthday, so I searched on vegan Disneyland food, and there you were! I really enjoyed this video, and I'm always looking for good vegan content, so I subscribed. I'm going back to watch some of your other videos, and I'll be watching for new ones.
Your energy is really uplifting
Watching half way through waiting for the Ronto wrap that’s divine 😩
Wish that the options in Disneyland Paris would be as good!!!! I would love to see a part two with drinks and maybe snacks!
Looks yummy! Lots of love and blessings all the way from South Africa
sending love back!
Amazing 🤩 Thanks so fun
I love the commitment of not going on rides but just getting food! You’re a whole vibe ahhaahhaua
when I say it was a DAY😅
AHHH EARLY !!
love you so much merle ❤️❤️
😍
omg this was such a fun video 😊
Watching you enjoy Star Wars land without a clue to what anything is was a joy!
I love Star Wars and have a decent knowledge of the IP, but some people are just too nuts about it lol.
love your personality!! great vid!!
Aw thanks Lily!
