Shoutout to the lady who swiped her card for Merl so we could have more video! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼 Great video! I’ve never been to Disneyland (or disneyworld) so I loved the vicarious trip!
Tomorrowland isn’t a Star Wars themed area, it’s meant to be just futuristic and kinda sci-fi themed which is why there are Star Wars attractions there from before Galaxy’s Edge opened 😊 they won’t merge the two though since there are other rides & attractions there that aren’t connected to Star Wars!
Well that and Galaxy's Edge is way over the other side of the park. They were never intended to be merged. I really did love HyperSpace Mountain and the Gonk droids in Tomorrowland though.
But they could move Star Tours to Galaxy's Edge. I guess Galactic Grill isn't necessarily Star Wars themed but maybe it is given they sold Darth by Chocolate, etc.
Merle!! I am living for this content! You’re pretty much the only vegan UA-camr I watch. I made your tofu chicken today and it was amazing! My meat eating family gave it a 8/10!! They were so impressed

Downtown Disney has some surprisingly good food! I was so shocked to find good food in Disneyland, I just thought it would be like overpriced stadium food.

I wish I could go back in time and tell you to eat the ronto-less roaster last, because it's one of the best items at either park, vegan or not. Everything else is going to pale in comparison.
Next time instead of the cauliflower tacos, try getting the cauliflower in the tostada bowl! So good and might be that little thing you're missing from that meal :)
This was awesome to see! I haven't taken my boys to Disneyland yet but we are vegan and loved to see all the variety! Thank you for making this content! I can't wait for part 2!
I'm so sad because right before COVID forced the parks to close, they were planning to bring at least one plant-based option at every restaurant. I worked there for 6 years up until March and since coming back to reopen the parks last April (2021), they got rid of so many options for vegans backstage, despite me begging basically every shift and they of course wouldn't let us eat the food guests got. A whole year of not having a guaranteed meal sucked lol (they sometimes had vegan weekly specials, but often ran out).
Went to Disneyland YEARS ago and there wasn’t nearly as much (that I could find). I did however have that gumbo, and I’ve been thinking about it non stop ever since.

Amazing food tour!!!! I can’t wait to go back to Disneyland because of this. Also, the green and blue milks are really good so a drink tour would be awesome ;)
I went during Chinese New Year a few months ago and they had vegan Chinese meatballs made with impossible meat! It was so amazingly delicious! Love these videos 💕
I freaking love this!! I grew up going to Disneyland every year, sometimes more (my dad got veteran discounts and my family all lives locally), so this gave me so much nostalgia! I LOVE THE DOLE WHIP, and we always got dinner at Rancho! I think for pt. 2 you should try: a rice bowl from Rancho (you can get rice, beans, the veggies, and whatever else you want- SO good), the white bean hummus from Cafe Orleans (comes with pickled veg), vegan Mickey Waffles (they're allergen, and you can get them at Carnation Cafe), BBQ tofu from Riverbelle Terrace (get it with their vegan chopped salad), rice bowl from Bengal (this is essentially just ordering rice, pineapple skewers, the veggies again if you want, and the citrus slaw!), popcorn (there are so many flavors at this place in Star Wars Land but I haven't tried it- that land wasn't a thing when we went haha), cinnamon crisps from Rancho, impossible wrap from Royal Street Veranda, chocolate covered frozen bananas from the vendors, Mickey Pretzels from the vendors (hold the cheese- it's great dipped in hummus from the vendors around though), and the CANDY at the shops!! I wrote a vegan guide to Disneyland for the magazine I work for, if that's helpful to you: www.peacefuldumpling.com/travel-guide-to-disneyland-vegan-food-best-rides

I don't think any other food had a chance after starting your day with the amazing dole whip 🤣 I enjoyed your video so much. I watched it once before and it was nice to revisit as I'm ready for my next trip to Disneyland and California Adventure.
This was great and I love when you do the comparison videos too! Just like in those videos, I think people are more interested in hearing your take on the taste rather than the price. I think it's safe to say anyone who goes to Disney knows they're going to spend an arm and a leg on anything, including food!!!
I actually thought the food would be more expensive. I'd love another video on vegan sweets. And when you finish how many ever videos you decide, I'd love your tops, both considering price & not. THANK YOU for this video & showing how yummy and accessible vegan food can be! I hope you enjoyed your time! Seeing your face while riding Big Thunder, ah, your joy is so infectious! 💙

My last trip to DLand I was vegan in 2019 and it was NOT this good. Maybe 2 of the options you ate were there back then. So excited to see all these options options! They look great. Thanks for giving a tour. Can't wait to go back again.
Uuummmm...I went to DL for Thanksgiving in 2019 and almost all of these were there. The hummus wasn't there and I'm not 100% sure about the bao bun or the risotto. Everything else was there. The cauliflower sandwich had a different name but it's the same item and the vegetable gumbo was at The Royal Street Veranda instead of The Harbor Galley. Admittedly, I spent more time in the months leading up to my trip researching and planning than I spent at DL. Some might say I spend too much time planning amusement park trips but I take my amusement park trips seriously.

Hi Merle! I just found your channel because of this video. I'm planning a Disneyland trip for my birthday, so I searched on vegan Disneyland food, and there you were! I really enjoyed this video, and I'm always looking for good vegan content, so I subscribed. I'm going back to watch some of your other videos, and I'll be watching for new ones.
If you do part 2 in DCA, I highly recommend the vegan potato tacos from The lamplight lounge. It’s only in their brunch menu (Fri-Sun) but so worth it!
I love your reviews, they are honest, you dont shy away from giving a thumb down if it could be a lot better. In terms of finger food, they could do quinoa patties with a vegan tzatziki sauce for example. The vegan brochette could have marinated tofu and tempeh bites accompanied with a sauce. Disney should elevate some of their vegan options as we saw in the video. How about a stir fry with soy curds?
You can order anything that comes in a bread bowl separate from the bread bowl. So that you can put your bread bowl in your food bag and it won’t be wet.
If there's a California Adventure video for part 2 I really love the impossible Banh Mi! It's really flavorful and it's filling, my sister and I share it. I think it's only around $11 and it's realllyyy good (just a little salty). At California Adventure they also have vegan hot dogs for $10, and the paradise pier frozen parfait for $7. All the vegan options there are really good, better than Disney's I would say. There's also a bbq burger with jackfruit or impossible ? I'm not really sure, and it comes with potato salad-- highly recommend!!
I would love to see California Adventure and The Blue Bayou and whatever else you might have missed I'm going to Disneyland tomorrow I haven't been since October before the pandemic started I had the rontoless wrap back then and I remember it being sooooo good
Thank you for this video. We're going later this month and this has been so helpful. Would love a California Adventure version too if your stomach is down for it.

The video I've been waiting for! finally, someone going to those parks checking the vegan options :)
thank you bob iger for bringing vegan food to disney parks! It just turned a magical place into something even more magical - like how?!
If you do part 2 in DCA, I highly recommend the vegan potato tacos from The lamplight lounge. It’s only in their brunch menu (Fri-Sun) but so worth it!
Love the veggie gumbo, my favorite.
Love that you are showing so many Vegan options there! This video gives us inspo for our Channel about our own Vegan lifestyle! 💕💕
How about a stir fry with soy curds?
aw thank you so much!! I'm glad you enjoy the videos
this video was so joyful. thank you for sharing
You can order anything that comes in a bread bowl separate from the bread bowl. So that you can put your bread bowl in your food bag and it won’t be wet.
That is a great tip.
I would love to see California Adventure and The Blue Bayou and whatever else you might have missed
I'm going to Disneyland tomorrow I haven't been since October before the pandemic started
I had the rontoless wrap back then and I remember it being sooooo good
Thank you for this video. We're going later this month and this has been so helpful. Would love a California Adventure version too if your stomach is down for it.
Can't wait for part two! Thanks Merle!
The Ronto-less Roaster wrap is delicious
Amazing video! This is so helpfull, I was dreading there wouldn't be many vegan options, I can't wait for part 2! 😀
We were in Disneyland last week. Their food is SO GOOD!!! The Prideland Salted Plantain chips are SO GOOD! The shows even better. As a Star Wars lover, my heart hurt a little. Tomorrowland is not Star Wars... I mean it kind of was before, but not now
