1000 sounds like a lot, but it's not when it comes down to margins this small, in cardcounting, it isn't strange to have a graph like this after 100 hours and that is thousands of hands. Eventually after about 500 hours (somewhere around 30k hands, if you assume a normal average of 60 hands an hour) thats when almost everyone has been trending in the green.
I know subscriber count has nothing to do with quality but this had no right to be this well done. Like, the overlay, the charts, the chill music felt so professional.
zed is a pretty smart guy, even if he gains pleasure from doing so, he knows other ways others wont bother to do to actually profit from crates, i bet he makes alot normally.
That is the type of unboxing i like to watch. He is actually a smart person knowing what he does and not a random madman throwing out his money. I like maths too but i am not an expert on this part. I would like to know more behind the maths of unboxing.

Insane. Not a single one. Makes me think that chance of unboxing a high tier unusual is astronomical. Like 1 in 500. Also very well done video with the data

@@_TheLetterZedI just want to say! I really appreciate the quality of these videos as simple as they may be, they make the viewing experience alot less cluttered like most other unboxing videos. Actually kinda satisfying (in a personal way) to see someone else be this unlucky. Currently sitting at.. 692 unboxes over my 13+ something years with 0 unusuals and 1 x item of value. I don't normally quicksell these, which would drop the price. I normally list them at the market's sell rate and let them slowly sell. I do go back and update the actual profit for each item I sell, so my chart at the top of the screen is always up to date with what I actually sell things for.
Sorry if he said and I didn’t notice, but why do some specific strange parts like “Robots Destroyed” go for so high compared to the other strange parts?
It's mostly supply and demand. These are the best strange parts (they are the most useful to track) and there's a low supply of them (not enough people opening these crates).
There are no profitable cases, only crates. The least-losing cosmetic case is Summer 2019, where you get back 70% of what you put in. For war paint cases, it's Infernal where you get back 90% of what you put in.
My overlay freezes somewhere around crate 660 and I don't fix it until the intermission at crate 800. Sorry!
what do you even do with all the items afterwards?

Not too brag or anything, but I got the twisted topper with the pumpkin moon unusual effect in my first crate ever unboxed ever! Talk about 🍀
But how dependent are these profitable crates on prices that will instantly drop when you sell like 20-40 of an item at once?
