Dinna forget the Black Watch museum while in Perth!🏴🇨🇦
Thank-you for this nice little tour of my home town, which is so often by-passed by the tourists, today. There is so much more history to discover - hopefully, you'll return some day and discover them for yourself.
This video has made me appreciate the little city I live in more. Thank you.
I appreciate that, thank you ☺️
A place I wish to visit someday
I’m from Perth. It’s so nice to see my hometown from someone else’s point of view. I don’t live there anymore, but your video has made me appreciate the city a little more. You’ve got me thinking about my history classes in primary school. I remember going on a tour down the vennels and learning about their names (and why they were chosen).
Hiya Ruth! So sorry for the late reply. Haha, that is great. The good old days at Primary School. So where are you living now then?
Lol hey Ruth!! Yup Perth is small
Born and brought up in Perth very proud, but at 76 years of age I see the steers in a different form. I think you took a bit of poetic licence with the folly facing the Grampian for hills it actually faces east to Dundee.
Heya Maureen, it’s always a nice feeling to talk with a fellow local. Appreciate you sharing the position of the Dundee hills, I’ll keep it in mind for next time lol
Some of my ancestors came from Perth, James Scott, actually a McGregor using a grandmothers maiden name Scott. It’s great to see where they came from
It’s wonderful to be able to visually see a space that is so connected to a part of our history isn’t it 😌
That’s wild. I was born in Perth and I’m a mcgregor and my cousins are Scott’s :)
Great job Kyle!
Thanks John!
I grew up in Perth and have climbed Kinnoull hill many times. Great video for a Scot who has been in France for almost 30 years
Hello Kyle from the United States. I really enjoyed the work that you put into this video.
Another excellent video. 👍
Well done Kyle you have done Perth Beautifully.
I didn't realise Provender Brown sold sandwiches and coffee! I've been looking for a locally owned business to buy a takeaway coffee when I find myself in the city centre so I'll be sure to drop in.
Great video! Entertaining, informative, and conscientious :)
That’s lovely of you to say ✨ thank you x
Does the museum still have the Victorian dolls house that I remember from my child hood
I’m not too sure, maybe it might ❤️
what about the Tay Pearls
I’ve heard that fishing for pearls in the Tay is illegal and that only one shop in Perthshire is licensed to sell pearls.
is the victorian dolls house still there
