All you had to do was wait, the investigators would have read the label on the bag and called you guys.. but no, you saw it as a marketing opportunity to post online that it was your bag and you called the tip line to let them know. You just had to post online for the attention, well now you have the attention. All you had to do was not post online, no one would have known. Greedy greedy gopher guts 👏🙃👏

After one order with PD decided I will never do business with them again. Terrible outsourced order fulfillment and clueless customer support. The pits.

Have any of your employees asked for videos with their names and faces in them to be taken down from your marketing? I wouldn't want to be the face of your company at the moment..

There needs to be a definitive video addressing the NYC issue because knowing what I know about PD and having their stuff from the beginning they would be the last people to snitch for something like that. LOL. Also he voluntarily gave himself up, he had all that stuff on him and if they had snitched on him the police would have been at his parent's house which they never were. That dingbat NYC mayor and the NYPD had no clue about anything or him, now showboating like they did something. 🤦‍♂

If you have you email signed up with the sent one out. You will find it attached
Peter here, Peak Design Founder & CEO.
You may be aware that an Everyday Backpack made by Peak Design was worn during the New York City shooting last week. Some of you have asked what our policies are around customer privacy, so I wanted to lay that out:
Peak Design has not provided customer information to the police and would only do so under the order of a subpoena.
We cannot associate a product serial number with a customer unless that customer has voluntarily registered their product on our site.
Serializing our products allows us to track product issues and in some cases quarantine stock if a defect is found.
The serial numbers on our V1 Everyday Backpacks were not unique or identifying. They were lot numbers used to track batch production units. We did not implement unique serial numbers until V2 iterations of our Everyday Backpack.
If you do choose to register a Peak Design product, and it is lost or stolen, you can reach out to our Customer Service team and have your registration erased, so the bag is not traceable back to you.
We take our customer privacy seriously.
There is misinformation being shared on social media that has triggered many serious threats for the safety of not only me, but our employees as well. I ask that you please consider the facts we are providing here and continue to instill trust in the Peak Design brand.
      Peter Dering
      Peak Design Founder & CEO

@@brianseskisLike I said I know your company well and know you would never do that. I think a certain side of the political media decided to smear you and your company because of previous stances and you need to fight back. They saw this as an opportunity to try to take you down. They literally had no idea who it was until he effectively turned himself in.

This is hilarious. In the event that the lore about Peak Design ratting out the real man of the year is false, I’m here to hate for now.
    Enjoy the mob!

Whatever the outcome, they can't take back the post where he literally says they called the NYPD to confirm the bag was one of theirs. It's like dude, just wait this out, the cops will read the label eventually and reach out, but no these greedy MFs that charge $300 for a bag is going to try and take that opportunity to get extra promotion. It truly was a greedy marketing attempt that blew up in their faces, and I say let them have it. Bad enough that they charge ridiculous prices.

I have to say, I understand why people say they don't care about people buying fakes or counterfeit goods, or why people should care. However, people don't necessarily "care" about people who own fake goods. Smart people will buy bags at kislux . In fact, people who have money to buy luxury goods and invest in them do so for a reason.

    Garbage bags

  • @lknsardari
    @lknsardari 4 дні тому +2

    Hi guys,
I bought three of them during the kickstarter campaign and I still can't understand why there is so much cords on these bags (sorry Rachel). Most of the adjustments are NOT easy to made, and the sternum straps are very unusable (especially when you use a camera on a Capture Clip). I still don't understand that choice.
I am not completely happy with them.
You said in a previous video that "these bags are not primarly design for backpacking" and today, I don't know for what they are built. They can do multiple things, but they are great in none. Very surprising coming from you (I backed every campaign).
