Katie, Thanks for the video. Do you have one that goes more in-depth regarding sub items of items? In our electronics company we have several sub-assemblies to the assembly, and we use the build function. We don't use the sub assembly function right now. Thanks, Lisa
Hi Lisa! I will add this to my list! If you want, we can also schedule a meeting. I’m on vacation thru next week, but am back the week following, or if you contact our main email they can set you up as well. My eml is kbunschoten@certumsolutions.com.
Katie I liked this video very much. I used QB in a construction company I closed 10 years ago, and barely recognize the interface so much has changed. I used items for estimating, costing and invoicing. Can I apply this same method in Qbooks Online? Do you have a training for that?
Hi Larry! Thank you so much for the kind words! You can do a lot with QBO, and we could look at that as an option, but there are also 3rd party construction add ons we could use to boost the QBO functionality for construction.
Thanks so much for your response. @@CertumSolutions I am consulting with a small construction company. They are currently on online plus. They need to import an item list to add to their chart of accounts, so that they can effectively build and track estimates through production, billing and payment. I've see mention that online advanced now allows "estimates vs actuals" reporting. Should I read this to mean that "advanced" is the level at which full scale estimating and job costing is fully functional?
I am not in accounting, but owned and operated a small firm doing up to $ 2mil/year operating with Qbooks pro, I guess desktop at that time. I am advising this masonry restoration firm broadly on practices and implementation. The company has 5-6 sales and management staff, and most labor is subcontracted. Can they get by with Quickbooks plus or advanced? Volume is circa $ 3mil. I really enjoy the clarity in your work, and will certainly advise getting them to engage with you.
@@larryhodgson8840 hi Larry - we would love to work together on this and any other needs you have. My email is kbunschoten@certumsolutions.com. Would you want to speak next week?
Katie, enjoyed the video. Nice to see you still bouncing around. Very informative. Thanks for posting.
Hey Bill! Thanks for watching! Has been a long time. 😊 Still here like always, hope it was helpful.
