Thank you for this video! You have been the 1st person to get close to our needs in construction. We are a small bridge subcontractor in Mt Airy, NC. We speacialize in bridge SIP metal decking installation & welding only. We have a total of 15-17 employees, however, we work in NC, SC, & VA. We use QB Enterprise Solutions 23.0 via Right Networks. I feel like this is possibly more than we need and it can get very expensive for less than 20 employees. Do you suggest looking elsewhere, cheaper, than Right Networks or maybe is there a suggestion on a better (less complicated) version of QB?
Hello , I'm starting a new job tomorrow - 4-24-23 . In my last job ( QB was not being use correctly ) it was a construction copy . (did not use Construction QB ) it was a night mare . No one knew how to use it correctly. I'm starting as office manager for a HVAC service . Which that's why I'm watching your video,> Want to go in on my first day knowing some knowledge of QB enterprise /construction
Hi, I work for a construction company and we just started using QB Enterprise this year. Our company buys inventory in bulk from our vendors and keep them in our warehouse until we need to install it on a job. We do not invoice our customers for individual items, rather one lump sum invoice that includes all labor, materials, etc. How can I record the items that were installed from inventory to the job? I need to expense the inventory items to the specific job and have it show on the job cost reports.
I would maybe use a subtotal or group item and list them inside the group or subtotal. They have to be listed somehow but you don’t have to display that part to the client. Make sure items are set up as inventory items.
@@CertumSolutions I’d like to schedule an appointment to discuss how you could help me with some things in QB’s related to project cost tracking. I’ll use the form on your website

Congratulations on the new position!! HVAC is very service short visit oriented, so if you need help or have more questions let us know.
Great video. Thanks for the info. Would I enter an amount I pay a vendor for a job in the pay bills section or in the job info itself?
Hey ladybug! Thank you so much!! I need to see what you mean. If you email me kbunschoten@certumsolutions.com I’m happy to take a look!
