Back to one of my most beloved adaptations EVER. Note: Jack is called in the French dubbing “scarecrow” (“épouvantail”), because its literal translation is roughly “scarer”, and it’s often addressed to in the form of “the scaring scarer” (“l’épouvantable épouvantail”).

Something about the line "Well... I don't care!" just tickles me. Like, Jack _would_ say that.
I really do love the French dub, they went all-out and it shows.
He says that in the Spanish version too and I also loved it (I hope this channel does the Spanish version, Jack's voice is great).
By the way, Jack is The Scarecrow in France and The King of Evil in Spain, is it just me or his English title is the less epic one? XD
Hey, after watching these songs (TNBC ones) in French, I searched the adaptator just because of how your translation of the lyrics sounds so poetic and original to me; it's Philippe Videcoq-Gagé, and I also found some other adaptations he made, like the one from Beauty and the Beast (2017), I recommend reading "Gaston"'s lyrics, there are some really original additions there.

Oh, so you discovered Philippe and his jewels? Out of all the languages I deal with, Philippe Videcoq is without a doubt my favourite lyricist *ever.* He's the author of some real masterpieces.
If you take suggestions, I advice you to go take a look at the lyrics from Pocahontas too, which he wrote together with Disney France's _other_ master lyricist: Luc Aulivier. Their CotW is precious, but I also suggest to take a look at the song Mine Mine Mine, which is a goldmine of wordplays: ua-cam.com/video/2qHN8JvxioY/v-deo.html
As he just started singing it really fits him by his mouth in the graveyard!!

Tu ne comprends pas. Les enfants ont été traumatisés, mais ça, Jack ne s'en rendait pas compte sur le moment. De son point de vue, ce qui est effrayant est joyeux. Donc il a fabriqué des jouets effrayants (donc, "joyeux" selon lui). Il croyait réellement que les enfants appréciaient ces cadeaux-là, sans se rendre compte que c'etait tout le contraire.
Car, de son point de vue à lui, il fait sens d'aimer ce genre de cadeau. C'est sa définition à lui d'un Noël réussi. Ça ne correspondrait pas à ce que voudrait un enfant "normal" mais le concept de norme est une fois de plus remise en question dans cette idee originale de Tim Burton.
Voilà pourquoi il s'attendait à être remercié et récompensé pour ce qu'il considérait être un beau geste.

You know? I think you have the capability of doing a Portuguese translation since it's pretty similar to Spanish and Italian because they (also French and Romanian and also Catalan maybe) are Romance languages, which means they share many similar words
