- This is how I make 'standard' 32 inch arrows. It's like a comic book, just follow the pictures and enjoy.
Always calculate the right length, weight, spine and diameter of the shaft for your bow and your goal. There are some good websites about that which you will find with Google.
Differ a bit with the weight of the arrow point, until you find the perfect combo for your type of shooting. I feel that 125 grains is a good starting point. You can do the same with the shape and the length of the feathers. I think you can start with 4-5 inch parabolic or shield and work from there.
In my humble opinion there is not just one way to make the best arrow. By making yourself a few arrows and adjust them the next batch, ultimately you will find what works best for you.
Remember: HAVE FUN :)

Thanks been looking for a way to make arrows for my bow
I wish you enjoy making them. Remember to pick the right spine shaft, relative to the poundage of your bow.
Looks like a mini pool cue. Looks fun.i,m toying with making a custom guitar that is shaped like an arrow. That,s why i,m here. By the way work that epoxy until it looks like sick baby snot. Then it,s well mixed.
It's oak dowel rods.
Any video or photo's yet? Good luck.
I used Spuce for these. :)
I’m 14 and I made one out of a literal stick I found outside and some of some aluminum tape it is perfectly fine
Wow, that is great. How creative! Compliments for you. How do they shoot?
@@BobWalkerNL shot a cereal box and 2/4 it pierced

Fantastic tip. Thank you. I assume it gives you a fast and even coated result. Thin, so fast dry. Great.
Not only fast even coat but waterproof and slides over rest and of the shelf smoothly
Excellent :)
I like it but I dont know how many of those materials are called.
could you please write us the list of the materials you used?

Hi, this is a great video
Can you tell me what band/song you have playing at the end of the video?
Thanks in advance
Thank you for your kind words. Honestly, no clue what song it is. Most likely it's from UA-cam Music library.
Hi loved the video, but I'm curious as to what kind of adhesive you used
Thank you so much. I use thin superglue for the nocks. I use 2k glue for the points. Enjoy making your arrows.
Great job! Where do you get your supplies from?
Thank you very much. Most of it is from Bogensportwelt.de You can get al supplies you need there.
What kind of ink is this, please?
I use powder stain, which you can dissolve in water or alcohol.

What bow r u using
Thank you for your question. Although the arrows were a bit short, I used a Manchu bow in that video.
may I know what is the target made from ? and how to make it (afraid can't buy it at where I live)
Of course you may. It is made of compressed straw, with a steel band around it. Very tight, durable and eco friendly.
I just use the same shaft and nock as yours. Besides, are you using Jia Zhiwei's Manchu bow?
That is nice. Works great for me. Indeed, I have two Manchu by Jia Zhiwei.
What did you use to paint it red with? Was it a wool pad? Thanks for the attention to detail 🙂
I used red dye, deluted in 92% alcohol. Indeed it is 0000 steel wool. Works like a charm.
Spend 30-40 making 8 Arrows that you can buy at cabelas for 20 a piece. I need to do this.
Enjoy!
Can we use bamboo as shaft?
Absolutely. ua-cam.com/video/m7zOh5r43Eg/v-deo.html Bamboo was and is commonly used in Japan for traditional arrows. Enjoy!
thanks for the answer
Where did you get the shafts?
Small bamboo.. r they tonkin?🤔
I asked the supplier. He doesn't know the type. It is from China. It probably is Tonkin indeed; thin and flexible. Very well straightened and very smooth.
What is the item u used to make the arrow?, tell me plss 🙏
What item do you mean? 🙏
Are you using marker tip
I use a small brush and gold paint.
For arrowhead? What are you using

What is the diameter of the stick?
The shafts I use in this tutorial are 11/32". Depending on your bow, setup, wishes, you can also use 5/16" or even 3/8" for a very heavy bow.
Bob Walker sensei thanks!
Could you list the tools your using?
Shaft 'sharpener' for point and nock (Bearpaw). 240 grid sandpaper. Glue. Fletching jig. Masking tape. Steel wool 0000. Fletching tape. Scissors.
From where did you get the stick?
These shafts come from a German supplier. www.bogensportwelt.de/ If you type 'wood arrow shaft' in Google search, you will probably find a supplier near you.
Where can you get direct wood, how can you make it, what is this wood, name it
Hello may I inquire of the shafts diameter
These are 11/32". Depending on your style, bow, poundage, etc. you can also use thinner 5/16" or thicker 3/8". Google will help you with your research on which is the best for you.

About € 6,00 per arrow in materials
What size dowels do you use
11/32
What kind of colouring do you use for the shaft? I think it's the same colouring you also used for the ebira, isn't it?

Hai. Color stain, water based.
Where do I get those sticks sir?
These shafts came from a Europe Archery.
Aap itna sidha lakri kaha se aur koun se per ka hai
This is Spruce. The wood is dried for a long time, before shafts are made. Most of them come straight; some need straightening with some steam and a firm hand. You can buy them in archery stores all over the world. You can also use Pine or Cedar. Bamboo and Birch-wood is also used.
What is the name of the stick,it is hard to find in the store, i want to buy in shoppe but i not know its name
It is called 'arrow shaft'. You will mostly find Spruce, Cedar, Bamboo, alu, carbon and fiber glass. It helps when you put one of those in your search. '...... arrow shafts'. I find it is better to invest in good quality, since they will last longer.
Where do you get the red things
The red things are the nocks. You can get them online easy. Just type 'archery arrow nocks'. Enjoy.
What about forming the shafts, or do you buy them like that?
These shafts come straight as an arrow. Seriously, they are excellent shafts.
@@BobWalkerNL where do you get them?
www.bogensportwelt.de They can even spine them for you.
@@BobWalkerNL thanks.
What diameter dowels do we use?
11/32 in this case. Depending on the draw weight of your bow mainly.
Which wood you have use
These are made of Spruce. Ceder works great too.
