I know this was posted a couple years ago, but this was seriously wonderful to watch. Thank you for the gift of your videos. Beautiful craftsmanship, sir.
Been married over 20 yrs. You hit it out of the park with the no talking!!! Lol. Loved it, beautiful work! Thank you again, for sooooo much said without a word!!! david
Im just amazed at what you do. Ive been a carpenter for 24 yrs i see this and think..I can do this. Wow you are a master craftsman because I find this a difficult task and tedious work. Great job young man. I will keep watching to gain more knowledge.
Man... I am wordless. You are a master and an artist! I still need to watch all your other videos, but the ones I've watched so far are just incredible. I hope I can begin learning soon enough and in a couple of years be as good as you!!! Keep it up man. I love your videos.
Well I'm a hunter from the uk.i only use full bore rifles.but watching you make that bow.wow massive respect too you and your skills truly you are a master at wot you do thanks for an excellent video
Wow, I'm speechless. First time I watch any of your videos. Subscribed not even a minute into the video. I've always been fascinated by bows. Sob, never had one, maybe soon, I'm 55. No smurf music, the silence is like a trance, everything comes in cleanly. Precious. Beautiful bow.
tried getting into making recurves 20 years ago. first time laminating, it split, then life happened. been thinking on trying again. best wishes to you.
I use to make bows but due to health and age I put it aside. I am trying to learn how to use my computer now. I found your video and it amazed me that one so young was such an excellent bowyer. Your attention to tillering showed me you know how it is done. All else is wasted if the tillering is off. Thanks for the video!
Kramer Ammons the 528 thumbs down is how many people who watched your videos who are unhappy in there life!because your videos are great !an your experience an the pleasure you get from shooting bows an dedication to perfection stands out with or with out volume! An no matter the materials you use making the bow you strive an show people they can achieve with whats available an.minimal tools cheers keep it up your awesome an videos are as well
hey man out of all the people with making bows, I actually like yours the most. some of the other are good and some have primitive tool makings and stuff like that but you bring a little sense of humor in your videos and it makes for an enjoyable watch and keeps me interested in the video. your not boring to listen to and that's a good thing. also your subscribers will start becoming more and more. keep up the good work
So... that was an interesting episode. I watch all my UA-cam shows while working on the Oxygen line here at a compressed gas filling plant. So, I'm not always able to "watch" per se. But, with my hearing protection w/built in Bluetooth speakers, I listen to everything. That's why for me this episode was different. Still better than hearing tanks filling.
Because of your passion and skill you inspired me to make a bow of my own. Three attempts snapped before properly tillered and the 4th has a crack in after i shot 500+ arrows through it ( so I was still happy with that one). But today I snapped my 5th, exploded in my hands after 750 - 1000 arrows. I was so upset.... Then I saw this video.... Tomorrow I'm making another bow 👍 Thankyou for the great videos bro !
Y aquí me encuentro soltero tranquilo comiendo y disfrutando de este maravilloso vídeo satisfactorio😁😁 planeando hacer mi propio arco en el taller. Tengo que intentarlo , saludos excelente video
Hey Kramer, you have to let us in on your playlist. I would love to see what you listen to while working on these beautiful bows. Or more precisely let us hear your playlist along with you😝
Mate, absolutely lovely piece of art.... something about bamboo on a bow.....here in the UK , I was shooting a trad longbow made by a lad called Adrian Hayes.....just couldn't fault it...and seeing you create this bow has rekindle a passion I thought I had lost....so thank you my friend for igniting a spark I thought I had lost....well done sir👍
Honestly very relaxing to watch this. I'm amazed at how much actually goes on in making a laminated bow, seems like it's a lot of back and forth and testing to see if it has the right draw weight. Thanks for uploading!
Damn! You make it look so easy! And your workshop is so nicely setup. Lots of good “Lean” going on. I made a laminate bow on a course in the UK last November... was so much fun but I had an expert on hand showing me what to do. Brilliant video mate.
Great video brother, I really think most of us appreciate the no talking because you are great at making your video self-explanatory. If folks are like me my visual acuity is way better than my hearing retention. I've often thought I had a slight dyslexia problem also, so for those wired like me thanks man, If she shoots as good as she looks ya got a winner! I learned a lot and I'm bought ready to try one of this type myself. I'll let ya know how it turns out.
Really impressive handcraft. I would have appriciated if you explained what types of wood you were using, type of glues and the different aspects of the craft you were doing. It would have been even more inspiring and enjoyable
Thank you for this video. You showed a better way to do several of the steps that always seemed to me to look the hardest. I now believe that I could do it. Again, thank you!
Brilliant! If Kevin De Bruyne made bows😉 You are a real craftsman. I’ve never had the guts , tools or ability to make my own bows. I own 4 English longbows ranging from 55 pounds up to 140 pounds.
Hi Krämer! You have done a Vera good Job. It is a wonderful bow. You are Wirkung Vera exactly. My Respekt vor you. From Germany the best wishes, Michael.
I love this. Wouldn't mind owning a bow like that. I have a love/hate relationship with videos like this. I love working with my hands and making things, but I don't have the tools or space for a workshop. So here I am on UA-cam, in awe of other peoples skill but not in a position to try things like this myself. One day maybe.
I bet Mr. Kramer wasn't relaxed at all, with hundreds of adjustments to get the bow to curve evenly, his try and error, looked pretty frustrating rather than any bit of relaxing, may be you were relaxed but, he wasn't... It's a great video and Mr. Kramer crammed a lot of hours in this "short" looking video, he's a real craftsman in my book, Bravo.
Great video. Do you have one where you explain the steps and how you come up with the measurements? Also what is the cabinet? Some sort of dehumidifier?
Mr. Kramer. For a such good craftsman like yourself, you deserve a much higher quality and better bench vice than what you're using... Great Video, thanks.
This is my first time watching one of your videos and it randomly popped up on my suggestions. I watched all the way through, fascinated. Great job, great video, I look forward to seeing more!
I know this was posted a couple years ago, but this was seriously wonderful to watch. Thank you for the gift of your videos. Beautiful craftsmanship, sir.
Tillering, tillering, and more tillering. I like how you focused on that. It's painstaking process and important for a good bow. Awesome job!
Been married over 20 yrs. You hit it out of the park with the no talking!!! Lol. Loved it, beautiful work! Thank you again, for sooooo much said without a word!!! david

the time for something is always coming at the right time everything just 'clicks' and wala a new generation a new era a new world
Its been 15 years since I made an oak board bow
Watching a real craftsman at work, making what is really hard look easy!

After seeing this I wont insult the world and try to make a bow!!!!!!!! Very nice... loved this video
work of art this young man was born a master of archery
In my childhood, passed by bow and arrow from tree branches. I always wanted a real bow. This is one of my dreams. Thank you kramer.

Great work, and I really liked the no music. Just the sound of him working. Congratulations on a job well done.
Great work bro, i like this!
Awesome video...wish more people would do 'in silence'. Thank you
It's such a luxury to move from one specialized power tool to another.... nice workshop btw
A great instructional video on bamboo backed longbow.
Precise work with the use of appropriate tools. Congratulations 😄.
Thank you 😀.

i think is awesome with no music. awesome to able to hear all the work you did
Honestly very relaxing to watch this. I'm amazed at how much actually goes on in making a laminated bow, seems like it's a lot of back and forth and testing to see if it has the right draw weight.
Thanks for uploading!
Not just the right draw weight, but also the right shape of the bend and that both arms bend exactly the same.
Cramer, this is one of your best videos. to see a bow built is better than a description imo. thank you for sharing your process.
I think it's an underappreciated fact that this dude has crazy strong fingers.
Amazing watching you execute this discipline...
Deus Vult!!
Wouw! A great „making of“ Video.
Awesome work and an awesome Bow!
Looks Beautiful 👌

6:40 nothing will ever be more satisfying than this sound
This is the best video I've even watched.
The best Video ever, MashaAllah Allahumabarik

I could spent easily long enough watching for these silent skill works, but not in blah x3
True craftsmenship and love the silence, really brings out the work and proces! Thank you for sharing!
Been watching your videos for a long time now. Each one is unique but worth the watch. Thank you for your time.
That is patience and dedication. From a guy who earns a living as a carpenter, that is very impressive.
I really enjoyed this video, it’s a nice change of pace and I’d love to see more videos like this in the future! Super relaxing!
Nice job....you clearly know how to sharpen and use a card scraper!!

Yessss, peace of art, the bow and the video. Love it.
Brilliant! If Kevin De Bruyne made bows😉 You are a real craftsman. I’ve never had the guts , tools or ability to make my own bows. I own 4 English longbows ranging from 55 pounds up to 140 pounds.

Beautiful bow made in a beautiful way.
Awesome video. Nice videography and bow
I just love how quiet things are when woodworking
I love this. Wouldn't mind owning a bow like that.
I have a love/hate relationship with videos like this. I love working with my hands and making things, but I don't have the tools or space for a workshop. So here I am on UA-cam, in awe of other peoples skill but not in a position to try things like this myself. One day maybe.
It's a very nice job....but it's a very very complex process...thanks for sharing
Watching this video was relaxing. Thanks.
Excellent work. Congratulations
Been a long time since I saw another human being who actually knew how to use a cabinet scraper properly.
Amazing, this is so relaxing... when the video started I thought a half of hour is too much 😂 but Mr. Kramer what you do is art 😍😍😍
Marvin Johan Blanco Montes ..oh please stop it 😂
I bet Mr. Kramer wasn't relaxed at all, with hundreds of adjustments to get the bow to curve evenly, his try and error, looked pretty frustrating rather than any bit of relaxing, may be you were relaxed but, he wasn't...
