I know this was posted a couple years ago, but this was seriously wonderful to watch. Thank you for the gift of your videos. Beautiful craftsmanship, sir.
man, this guy's workshop is sweet. & the jig he made for the initial shape. that bow came out beautiful dude
Tillering, tillering, and more tillering. I like how you focused on that. It's painstaking process and important for a good bow. Awesome job!
Man... I am wordless.
You are a master and an artist!
I still need to watch all your other videos, but the ones I've watched so far are just incredible.
I hope I can begin learning soon enough and in a couple of years be as good as you!!!
Keep it up man.
I love your videos.
Wow, I'm speechless. First time I watch any of your videos. Subscribed not even a minute into the video. I've always been fascinated by bows. Sob, never had one, maybe soon, I'm 55.
No smurf music, the silence is like a trance, everything comes in cleanly. Precious.
Beautiful bow.
I really enjoyed this video, it’s a nice change of pace and I’d love to see more videos like this in the future! Super relaxing!
True craftsmenship and love the silence, really brings out the work and proces! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for this video. You showed a better way to do several of the steps that always seemed to me to look the hardest. I now believe that I could do it. Again, thank you!
Almost an ASMR video! I can't wait for have one of those bows!
Damn! You make it look so easy! And your workshop is so nicely setup. Lots of good “Lean” going on. I made a laminate bow on a course in the UK last November... was so much fun but I had an expert on hand showing me what to do. Brilliant video mate.
making a very thorough, full of appreciation of a long time does not matter and the results were perfect as desired
Honestly very relaxing to watch this. I'm amazed at how much actually goes on in making a laminated bow, seems like it's a lot of back and forth and testing to see if it has the right draw weight.
Thanks for uploading!
Not just the right draw weight, but also the right shape of the bend and that both arms bend exactly the same.
One of your best videos ever !!! .... So relaxing & enjoyable to watch. Fantastic work.
Awesome! I have seen some of your early videos, when I was searching info about fiber glass backing, and progress you have done since is incredible. So pretty bow, you have made here. Video also very nice. Great idea to present everything without a word. But bow so straight beauty!
tried getting into making recurves 20 years ago.
first time laminating, it split, then life happened.
been thinking on trying again.
best wishes to you.
the time for something is always coming at the right time everything just 'clicks' and wala a new generation a new era a new world
Its been 15 years since I made an oak board bow
Lovely video!! The sound of the bured metal removing wood is very nice to hear. Your tillering process is a joy to watch. I've always had a wanting to make my own bow, but just don't have the time yet to dedicate to doing a committed job of it. Thinking I will watch this vid a good few times to gain a smidge of knowledge from it. Well done sir great job all round.
Absolutely therapeutic watching this. We need some close ups on that bow!
This is my first time watching one of your videos and it randomly popped up on my suggestions. I watched all the way through, fascinated. Great job, great video, I look forward to seeing more!
Been watching your videos for a long time now. Each one is unique but worth the watch. Thank you for your time.
Cramer, this is one of your best videos. to see a bow built is better than a description imo. thank you for sharing your process.
Man you are a legend . Love your work totally inspired now . This is what I have been looking for all my life I reckon . That's it ... I'm going to do what you do !
Your craftsmanship and precision deserves a salute
Very cool build to watch This guy is skilled, patient & well prepared. Good job.
not only motivates me to get back in the shop, but also to try my first bow project. you rock sir
Great work, and I really liked the no music. Just the sound of him working. Congratulations on a job well done.
So nice to see someone going through the full process. My dad used to make these bows. Brings back good memories. Great work.
That was amazingly satisfying to watch. You are plainly a perfectionist, and I'm sure it shoots as well as it looks. Thank you.
wow, what a cool video. i was glad to see this come up today since the message there would be a new video soon. that looks like a fantastic bow, whomever ends up with it will surely be pleased.
Wow your craftsmanship has really improved. This was a pleasure to watch.
Amazing work!! Thank you for sharing! I can see myself making one some day! Wow, look at those bows!!!
Love your videos and thank you for taking the time to show us all and share ..be well.
That was very satisfying to watch. Love all the camera angles. Excellent work sir!
Awesome video! You are an artist and I'm glad I found your channel. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome video Kramer. You have really gotten the process down to a science! Love your content; keep it up my friend!
A work of art. Images, angles, sound recording, editing and of course, the bow. Love it!
Excellent piece of work. love the video no time waisting gabbing on and on. you are the men, thank you for sharing. subscribed
I use to make bows but due to health and age I put it aside. I am trying to learn how to use my computer now. I found your video and it amazed me that one so young was such an excellent bowyer. Your attention to tillering showed me you know how it is done. All else is wasted if the tillering is off. Thanks for the video!
Amazing, this is so relaxing... when the video started I thought a half of hour is too much 😂 but Mr. Kramer what you do is art 😍😍😍
Marvin Johan Blanco Montes ..oh please stop it 😂
I bet Mr. Kramer wasn't relaxed at all, with hundreds of adjustments to get the bow to curve evenly, his try and error, looked pretty frustrating rather than any bit of relaxing, may be you were relaxed but, he wasn't...
It's a great video and Mr. Kramer crammed a lot of hours in this "short" looking video, he's a real craftsman in my book, Bravo.
Thank you for the fantastic video, I enjoyed every minute of it!
Once again, an awesome video. But I did miss the commentary and the enthusiasm! Great skill and patience. Lots of quality work. I am truly impressed.
Been married over 20 yrs. You hit it out of the park with the no talking!!! Lol. Loved it, beautiful work! Thank you again, for sooooo much said without a word!!! david
Im just amazed at what you do. Ive been a carpenter for 24 yrs i see this and think..I can do this. Wow you are a master craftsman because I find this a difficult task and tedious work. Great job young man. I will keep watching to gain more knowledge.
I am so, so happy that I was lucky enough to win!!!!!!!!!1
@Toby.. LUCKY guy!!!!!!! 👍👍👍
Congrats man
awesome!!
Congratz
Lucky guy, I'm trying not to be jealous lol
I gotta know what music you're jamming to in those earbuds! Great video as always, buddy!
That's so cool. I've never seen someone make one from start to finish. That's great work.
Beautiful bow! great quality. I wish I had a bow like this
Watching a real craftsman at work, making what is really hard look easy!
This channel is so awesome...
Keep that work up!!
i think is awesome with no music. awesome to able to hear all the work you did
Awesome stuff dude , I really enjoy watching your channel. Building a bow has been on my to do list for like 5 years now lol. You ever try to build a glass bow? That would be a good video to watch. Keep up the good work sir.
Wouw! A great „making of“ Video.
Awesome work and an awesome Bow!
Looks Beautiful 👌
So... that was an interesting episode. I watch all my UA-cam shows while working on the Oxygen line here at a compressed gas filling plant. So, I'm not always able to "watch" per se. But, with my hearing protection w/built in Bluetooth speakers, I listen to everything. That's why for me this episode was different. Still better than hearing tanks filling.
Well made! Thanks for sharing!
Well I'm a hunter from the uk.i only use full bore rifles.but watching you make that bow.wow massive respect too you and your skills truly you are a master at wot you do thanks for an excellent video
I forgot what channel led me to watching your videos, thrn i suddenly remembered as i type this, it was zna. Im glad i found your channel
that is just a BEAUTIFUL bow!!!!
Yessss, peace of art, the bow and the video. Love it.
It's such a luxury to move from one specialized power tool to another.... nice workshop btw
Beautiful craftsmanship!!
Beautiful bow made in a beautiful way.
Super satisfying to watch and listen to. Thanks for sharing your craft
I love the bow. Well made with careful attention. 😍
So much dedication. Just insane
Awesome video...wish more people would do 'in silence'. Thank you
That’s a beautiful bow!!
Awesome video. Nice videography and bow
I just love how quiet things are when woodworking
I love this. Wouldn't mind owning a bow like that.
I have a love/hate relationship with videos like this. I love working with my hands and making things, but I don't have the tools or space for a workshop. So here I am on UA-cam, in awe of other peoples skill but not in a position to try things like this myself. One day maybe.
work of art this young man was born a master of archery
Damn that was amazing and I loved it especially the silence it truly helps to bring out the artistic depth that carpentry possesses and it's as if I'm taken back in time and witnessing the construction of a prehistoric bow
I hate how people like you talk. It's so annoying.
Just say you think it's a cool bow and shut the Hell up.
Awesome work and dedication
Amazing skill and workmanship!
Absolutely beautiful!!! Your such a Master!
Love your channel! You have inspired me to pull some clear yellow pine out of the scrap pile and try to make a laminated bow out of it using epoxy and fiberglass cloth as a backing . The blank is waiting for me now while the glue sets up on the handle. Having so much fun I may butcher more wood later! I guess, with glass and epoxy backing you can add more layers of glass later if you think you need it.
That is patience and dedication. From a guy who earns a living as a carpenter, that is very impressive.
Looks like a really durable bow, that! Great channel!
Great job, thanks for sharing this video!
Seems to be in the process a good bow.
Good work!
Just found your channel, love your stuff. Great craftsmanship, content, personality, truthfulness. Keep it up man I'll have to place an order for some of those strings you guys make
Great video as always, good job Kramer!
Excellent work. Congratulations
Mate, absolutely lovely piece of art.... something about bamboo on a bow.....here in the UK , I was shooting a trad longbow made by a lad called Adrian Hayes.....just couldn't fault it...and seeing you create this bow has rekindle a passion I thought I had lost....so thank you my friend for igniting a spark I thought I had lost....well done sir👍
Watching this video was relaxing. Thanks.
You are straight-UP Raw Homeboy!
Mr. Kramer.
For a such good craftsman like yourself, you deserve a much higher quality and better bench vice than what you're using...
Great Video, thanks.
Very nice work. Looks great
In my childhood, passed by bow and arrow from tree branches. I always wanted a real bow. This is one of my dreams. Thank you kramer.
You have an art that i would live to be able to do. Great job man. Live your videos
Amazing work Mr. Kramer
Amazing, Man. Thanks for your videos .
Amazing watching you execute this discipline...
Deus Vult!!
Looks like a lot of fun!
Skills well demonstrated need no words.
Y aquí me encuentro soltero tranquilo comiendo y disfrutando de este maravilloso vídeo satisfactorio😁😁 planeando hacer mi propio arco en el taller. Tengo que intentarlo , saludos excelente video
Watching you work is very motivating. I build custom cabinets for a living and I believe I've found a new hobby. Just curious could you do a video on making a takedown bow. I'm finding alot od places that sell shorter blanks and I'm guessing that's what they're for.
Amazing talent..what a beautiful bow.
Amazing stuff you are incredibly talented
Precise work with the use of appropriate tools. Congratulations 😄.
Thank you 😀.
A great instructional video on bamboo backed longbow.
