SUNY COIL weekly IDEA HUBs is thrilled to share the research and presentation: Developing Empathy through Virtual Exchange. The Problem with Priviledge with Jami Leibowitz, PhD. Associate Director of Global Affairs and Director of Global Academic Initiatives at East Carolina University.
These events are specifically produced and recorded for the SUNY COIL Global Partner Network Community to gather, exchange ideas regarding COIL Virtual Exchange. We refer to these events as SUNY COIL Special Interest Groups (aka SIGs) aka Idea Hubs focus each week works on one of 4 different areas: Technology - 1st Friday, Pedagogy - 2nd Friday, DEI, Culture & Language - 3rd Friday, Assessment - 4th Friday. Each Idea Hub/SIG meeting meets once a month. There is an Idea Hub meeting every week on Fridays at 11am EST(except the 5th Fridays).
