Please just be careful with pothos in the home if you have dogs and cats that like to chew on plants, it’s toxic

It’s so good to let people know, because who would not think for example a Peace Lilly is poisonous to cats. It’s surprising how many plants are poisonous to cats and dogs. I decided I wanted more house plants, and had to give away a couple because I have an indoor cat. I just look them up now before buying to make sure they’re safe for my cat.
@@nikkic0509 same with essential oils also there is so much bad info out there about what oils are safe and what are toxic for them.
@@bobbibuttons8730 Really glad you mentioned this haha, I didn't learn until recently that essential oils could be dangerous just by "normal" use, like even in humidifiers or even candles. It makes sense when you finally find out, but they're advertised and sold so much that it's a bit of a surprise when you find out they're harmful to not only your pets, but to humans, as well.

I've had the same pothos plant for 25 years. My 7th grade teacher gave us each a cutting. We've been through a lot together! Including neglectful months without water or sunlight. Love how hardy it is.
Got one from my mum, after a couple of years it had 12 foot vines, had to cut it, it is shorter but bushier now.

My dad had a pacman frog growing up. She was old as hell like 30 years old and blind in one eye when she finally passed lol
What did he feed her 😂?? That's amazing! Everyone now seems to lose them after just a few years.
I use a hot glue gun to fix the dried mushrooms to the cork bark or glass. They are easily taken off with a razor blade.
I have a strawberry horned Pac-Man I’ve almost had For a year I love him so much! We call him plant because he basically does just as much as a plant. But I totally recommend them they are very fun!😂♥️

@@kirasnow4436 definitely, they don’t really move and only need once a week feeding of crickets/roaches. I’ve had mine for 4 years now and they are super easy pets.
You've honestly helped me with my arachnophobia, not so much with big spiders but I love jumping spiders and can watch your tarantula videos (dunno if I could hold one yet!).

I have recently been falling in love with frogs more and more!
Last year I was lucky enough to find some frog spawn in a bucket of rainwater I had in my back garden! I looked after those tadpoles, fed them, gave them stones and some bits of wood to hide in, as their mother really didn’t do a great job of putting them somewhere where they would be able to be self sufficient until they could hop away!!
Anyway, they all survived and we ended up with about 50 bright green tree frogs, which were about the size of my thumbnail when they grew their little arms and legs and were trying to escape!!
They were the prettiest little tiny frogs I have ever seen! I thought about keeping one or 2, but I couldn’t bring myself to do it. They were so keen to leave their little nursery in my back garden, so I put in a plank of wood and just let them do their thing.
Fully grown, they are about the size of my hand and I see the odd one in my garden.
Your new baby girl is just beautiful. Absolutely gorgeous!

I am so so sorry for the loss loss of pets hurt so much! I have lost 2 dogs before. I am dreading when I lose my cat. She's 15yrs old and it's sadly coming probably soon :/

Things my tomato frogs have eaten: fern leaves, long sphagnum moss, leaf litter, and dirt. They now have a flat feeding area with nothing on it. They've also become acclimated to me holding them (with gloves, of course) and pulling debris out of their mouths while they angrily try to finish eating it. They're the "what's in your mouth" "chews faster" meme personified.

I love pacman frogs, and have multiple. Watching this video you can tell that you put so much care into researching about them and it makes me so happy. MJ looks just like my pacman frog Dumptruck who recently passed, so this video hit me rather unexpectedly in the feels.
Oh my goshhh!!! I have a pacman frog named Lemony Snicket and he's like twice as big as he was when I first got him 😂 they get big FAST!! And they get fat fast too 🤭 have fun with your baby!! He/she is gorgeous ❤

Congrats on the acquisition or your cute, little, green squishy. She is such a pretty shade of green, and coupled with her patterning, altogether it kind of reminds me of duck weed.

Oh and those mushrooms are mainly used for resting places for geckos in arboreal enclosures (mainly attached to costume backgrounds) but can also be used as a hide due to its wait on the back 👍
I have a Colorado River toad named Trippy . He or she was so tiny when it arrived but has grown so much in nearly two months it’s huge
Also, your froggo looks like an angry slightly-elderly lime and I love it XD she is SO CUTE, her little eye-socket-ridges. Grumpy little alien ma'am! OOSH! I want to gently boop her so much that it hurts me, I mean that.
Also-also those bits at the end where the camera makes it feel like you live in her enclosure: I think she's going to be a happy spoiled baby, I mean, it looks like a resort or something. I love that you seem to truly want them to have beautiful and comfortable homes.

Ever since i got my first pixie frog i've fallen in love with frogs in general. They're such chubby little monsters!
Pothos and some philodendron are great low maintenance plants. I love the pearls and jade pothos, but they do brown super quick if you're not on top of the water game with them. I haven't had a frog since I was young, but she's super adorable and I'm happy you were able to get her.

Love this! 😊 Frogs need so much more love than they get; none of the forums I see for them online are as active/fruitful as other pet communities. I don't have any atm (I live in an apt, and don't think my partner wants me to get anymore pets or have to hear them croak all night lol) but they're one of the animals I'm most excited to care for in the future. Frogs are AWESOME! They come in so many epic colors and forms, their croaks are interesting, if you do bioactive vivariums then you have little slices of rainforest in your own home... Frogs, frogs, frogs, FROGS! 🐸🐸🐸

Try Cordadums too they can grow in a closet. Dark green leaves a tad smaller than Pothos. They grow like Pothos do.

I love pothos too! I’ve had them as plants all my adult life. They’re very easy to keep. I’m going to start using them instead of plastic. My daughter will appreciate that. Now I want a frog!!! So fucken cute!!!OMG❣️❣️😊🥰👍
