I bought my young daughter 2, baby rats, and I had no idea how in love I was about to become with these rats. They lived to be about 3 years old each. I thought I would die when they died. They are the sweetest, most entertaining pets. But not a long life span.
You are clearly a very caring person, and your pets are adorable! ❤️❤️❤️ One thing: I kind of feel like the baby rats can get out of that cage through the wire gaps. They are very small and flexible.
I had a Sprout! She was a black & white hooded & unfortunately left for Rainbow Bridge in March rather unexpectedly. She led me to two babies in a rescue & I got them a couple weeks later. My grey & white girl (Moxie Blue) is not a dumbo & not a roan but they are very similar! Her sister is Magpie! They turned 5 months old on 7/8 & were spayed last week! (Great bday present, huh?). Try filling your water bottle all the way to the top of the neck of the bottle & that may help stop drips. I read somewhere that that helps prevent drips because it creates a better vacuum or something. Also, I take it your tap water doesn’t contain fluoride! That would be so nice. I have to buy bottled water since our water has fluoride in it! I’ll post a pic of my babies on your IG! Look forward to following these cuties!

Hi this is the first video I’ve seen from you and I was so happy that you take care of rats. My name is penny and I’m 10 years old and have allergies to a lot of furry animals so rats are one of the only furry pets I can have and I’m so glad of that now rats are my favorite animals. I moved recently and now I live in New Zealand but I had to say goodbye to my 3 rats I used to have 5 but one of them (her name was coco) died from a brain tumor and there sister (a blind rat named butterscotch) died from old age. It was really hard to leave them but now there with one of my close friends. I’m hopping to get some more rats when we are residents of New Zealand. That’s all I’m going to subscribe and I just wanted to share my story😊❤️🐀
they are rats, because when they’re babies they’re wayyy smaller then their grown version!! i have two rats, but we have to get rid of them but we’ve had them for a year.
Caring for animals can be hard work, but the most rewarding work of all. I live with fifteen cats, in my life I've had cats, dogs, mice, a guinea pig, a hamster and a rabbit....never a rat. I've fell in love with them due to youtube, but it obviously wouldn't be a good idea for me to have them now!!
one thing I STRONGLY recommend is Hay Hides! My girls LOVE them and they are chewable, so incase they dont like it a certain way, in a way its customizable and its absorbant and comfy!
I got my 3 girls the day after they were weaned. They weren't ready for a regular cage; so I've had them on my bed in a small one till they're comfortable. I open the cage daily while I'm around. I also put them in the big cage a little at a time
Hi see the thing that broke put it through one of the holes at top so it's all the way through and then it will stay if you spin it sideways if you want to

Amazing to see someone else giving great care and love to rats!! We need more people like you to show that rats are not the enemy’s there so loving and loyal and smart!! There the best and are my favourite animals
i didnt know people wait a while to name pets, when i bought animals such as hamsters and rats i named them either when they arrived at the house or on the journey home.
I had my first rat called Ruby she was an albino and she lived to be almost 4. In fact she passed away on her birthday. I played with her every single day she was super healthy and had a sister called Nutella who was a hooded dark brown rat. Ruby was my heart rat. I lost her to cataracts when I was 5, I got her when I was 2 and a half! She was so precious I remember coming home and finding out she passed away in her sleep. She was blind and deaf if you don’t know what cataracts is. She passed away shortly after that happened. I don’t have any photos of her but she was so gorgeous and was really comfortable with me and whenever I opened the door she would run to me and jump onto my arm. Love you ruby! (And Nutella)
If you take rough fabric like the potato sack kind, and hang in on the walls, they can climb all over it, and sometimes you see the little toe beans sticking through the fabric.
This is months later so you may have changed the bedding but paper bedding isn’t good bc terrible aminos control and respiratory infections. Getting bulk aspen/kiln dried pine/hemp from a tractor supply or smth is cheaper and better.

I love what a sweet and nervous new rattle mom you are! Because of people like you, others are realizing what GREAT pets rats are.
Finally that one person who does the research! Your rats are so cute and you are doing an amazing job!
I have always loved pet rats; they are awesome! Had a beautiful sweet black rat named Roy. My mom never came to visit without bringing him a piece of candy as a rare treat. She loved watching him but she was a little afraid of him. She hated his tail! But she would pet him if I held him. He was such a good boy. Everyone should give them a try. They are very smart, friendly, affectionate and very clean! So much fun to watch and interact with. Excellent pet for children and apartment dwellers and relatively inexpensive (compared to cats and dogs).
I currently have a small group of 3 incredibly friendly female mice who I love SO much, but I've been seriously considering getting rats lately. These babies are so precious you're making me look up breeders in my area😭❤
upgrade. your heart will soar
Como eu não conhecia essa diva antes???? Você é muito atenciosa com esses bebês continue fazendo um bom trabalho! Ganhou uma inscrita ❤❤
First time viewer, 5 minutes and I'm subscribing! It's so clear how much thought, care and attention you give these lil angels. And that's evident by how immediately comfortable they were being handled by you, animals can tell who's cool and who's got bad vibes.
Coriplast is great to make a bottom with & you can cut it to size .
I recently found your channel so I'm so happy when you upload haha! Some name suggestions: Maple, lily, Poppy, Daisy, Clove(r). Keep posting rat updates! I love your content 💕
Same here!! And love the names!! 😍
those are such cute names!!
Wow, that is so wonderful to hear! & ooohh those are such good suggestions, thank you! Always feel free to comment rat related videos you'd want to see in the future- I want to make sure I'm posting things my audience will enjoy :)
My rats name is maple and I had a mouse named daisy lol
I bought my young daughter 2, baby rats, and I had no idea how in love I was about to become with these rats. They lived to be about 3 years old each. I thought I would die when they died. They are the sweetest, most entertaining pets. But not a long life span.
13:04 this lowkey melted my heart
her tiny hands & yawn get me every time!!
I get so excited when you post! Your content is so well put together and entertaining
Oh my gosh, thank you so much!! You are so kind❤️
Atlantis Rattery!? That's where I got extra pans for my Critter Nation cage. They are great folks! Congrats on being a rat parent!💜
I love how excited you get about your cute rats, your happiness is so contagious. I always click on here when I need a smile💖 you’re also inspiring me to get some rats, (I’m gonna get the supplies first though lol) love the rat content
I love how you actually care a lot about your rats
Late twins
Your girls are so adorable!
To me your lighter girl looks like a Sage and your grey girl looks like a Willow.
This video makes me want to go out and adopt more ratties.
I reveal the names in my new upcoming video (posting on Monday) and eeeeek SPOILER those names may or may not be the ones I chose!!! Thank you for the comment❤️
Oh sooo cute, and you are sooo careful, about having them transition to their "for now" home!
Your intensity is a bit shocking at first, yet your passion and personality are absolutely adorable and whole-hearted. What a good rat mommy and a greater woman.
Aw thank you for the comment, i really appreciate it ❤️
So sweet. Not a “rodent” not a “pest” a loving sweet animal. EVERY animal has a purpose!! And the purpose isn’t to be poisoned by us because we think they are “gross”…or “dirty”….. To every being purpose under heaven 🙏🏻🐁🐀❤
They're absolutely adorable! Wishing you the best with all of your girls... much love

The baby’s are so cute
I had a rat! They are just adorable! Many people think they are just pests but the love they give is so sweet. My rat died though! But I am so glad I found your channel! You are a great rat mom! 🐀
Rats habe sensitive noses- i think the bleach from tissue paper, can affect them. Hemp would be more healthy and natural stell for them. Also houses Made ist of wood or coconut shells would be much healthier for them.
your rats are really cute. gosh i miss how gentle and sweet rats are.
I love that this was uploaded a year ago but all the comments are recent 😂
I really hope my Kitten adoption video can do the same thing!
I JUST WENT AND WATCHED IT, IT WAS SO GOOD OMG!
I cant believe how underrated you are you deserve so many more views than just 50

Honey and Rowen. They are lovely. I had 4 and I miss them so much
Aww they’re so cute!! I hope to be as good of a mom as you to my own kids one day 😂 Read Morgan’s comment and I agree that Sage would be a great name! 💚
Ahh you're so kind❤️ Spoiler... I did name one Sage, it just fits so well!
My daughter and I call our rats "our girls" too. We are on our 3rd set of rats and we love them more than anything ❤

My mom was thinking she was getting 2 rats. But we. Have four-
How do you have no likes and reply’s
0:20 those are mice girly
Baby rats looks like mice
@@Lize-vy1fz ah okay :)
they are rats, because when they’re babies they’re wayyy smaller then their grown version!! i have two rats, but we have to get rid of them but we’ve had them for a year.
They are rats cuz I got 3 baby rats and that’s what they look like cuz I have one that’s like 9 months old and it’s almost as small as hers
Yes and I’m a pansexual Therian too!
It makes me so happy how well you treat your rats and how much effort you put into making sure they have everything they need and more
one thing I STRONGLY recommend is Hay Hides! My girls LOVE them and they are chewable, so incase they dont like it a certain way, in a way its customizable and its absorbant and comfy!
Oh my gosh I want another rat but now I know you should have at least 2. They are absolutely ADORABLE!!!
I have that water bottle and it works for me if I fill it up completely so there’s no air and then flip it upsidown quickly!
what i used to do is use old blankets and cut into strips and braided and it was super good idrk if u wanted to but yeah 😊
I got my 3 girls the day after they were weaned. They weren't ready for a regular cage; so I've had them on my bed in a small one till they're comfortable. I open the cage daily while I'm around. I also put them in the big cage a little at a time
YOU ARE AN AMAZING RAT MOM!!! Your girls are so lucky! You’ve thought of everything to make their lives amazing❤
I am more of a hamster fan but honestly mice and rats look awfully cute too. Good job on their care too, it's obvious you girl love your animals :)
You are so caring to them rats so wonderful of you. I love rats too. I love all animals
Oh! i have some ideas for their names! the grey/white-ish one: marshmellow . the gold-ish-white one: nugget . and btw they're soooo freaking cuuteee!!
Hi see the thing that broke put it through one of the holes at top so it's all the way through and then it will stay if you spin it sideways if you want to
Oh I think your baby rats are adorable and the cage is absolutely awesome home for them so cool😁🥰💕
Awww I love this just adorable and a lovely thing to see and watch in the morning with my coffee i am a rat mamma also there mr world and babies and I love them very much!!
She should of lived with me
@@Ash-x9m what?
@@caes_diary_x your rat you are a bad owner
@@caes_diary_x you are a terrible owner
I rlly want rats in the future so I want to do research and learn how to care for them and prepare myself. This is very helpful
Well because you like garden theme how about daisy for the white one and for the gray one ash
