S197 Battery Relocation for $200!

Here's a video showing how I relocated the battery in my car for 1/3 the price of the expensive kits on the market.
All items were purchased on Amazon for the kit. I opted to use an 150A circuit breaker, 1 Gauge Wire, 1/4" ring terminals to match the studs on the circuit breaker, and a plastic battery box. I do have a vent on the box, but no disconnect for now. That can be added later on down the road pretty easily.

UPDATE:
I have sense replaced the plastic battery tray with this one because it is much more solid and holds the battery in place. The plastic tray allowed it to move around too much.

@@vonlipichracing251so looking at the 1/4 studs it states it supports 165amps. Yet there’s a 200amp fuse connected to it. I’m just confused on that

Thinking about doing the same thing with my car. I have a sleeved Coyote with a VMP G3 on it. T56 Magnum street car. Did traction improve considerably? Thanks!

Sounds like a great build! Traction improvement was not drastic with the battery relocation alone. I mainly moved it for space in the engine bay. Also if you do this just make sure and get a better tray than the one in this video. Recent video has the updated one I got.
