Have you had any problems with how you installed the weight? I called benelli because it felt to me like it wasn’t threading very much at all before getting right. they informed me that the nut that is on the bolt must be removed leaving the locking washer and your counterweight takes the place of the nut allowing it to be fully threaded into place.
That is interesting. I have never had any issues leaving the nut on and then threading the counter balance on as well. It does only thread a couple turns before being tight.
@@EveryDayLimits /Derek Sulivan Ha had the exact same thoughts myself yesterday not much thread taken but it's on plus the bonus of the weight of the nut!!
Thanks for all the informative video. I like my affinity 3.5 a lot so far and having the counter weight in really makes a difference.
Is balance more important than overtake carry weight? I like a lighter 12 gauge. With a 26 inch barrel it ought to weight like 6 pounds and 12 ounces.
Are the chokes that come with the gun actually fine with steel? I saw the last video, and even after reading the thing you had it was slightly unclear
Yes they are fine to shoot steel. I had to look them up from trulok
Do u know if 3” has that? Jc cause mine 3” didn’t?
No the 3” does not have a counterweight
That sucks, I just added some pennies in a sock and stuff it in.

@@Odysseuss. Ya thats why i just left the nut on mine. If nothing else it has a little but of locking feature by being double nutted :)
My counterweight wouldn't go on without removing the nut first either! I have the base model Franchi Affinity 3.5.....
Just bought my affinity 3.5 today, what is the point of the weight? The gun feels balanced to me already?
If it feels balanced to you leave it off. It is just to balance the gun a little more but is not needed.
