There is nothing wrong with being sponsored by Beretta... that means you have reached a level that is being recognized by them and sponsored your channel!!! Keep up your amazing videos coming 👏 Thank you!!!
The thing I've appreciated most from Beretta is the fact they have continued to produce the A300. The A400 is more state-of-the-art than the A300 in all variants but the A300 is a much more budget friendly shotgun for hunters.
When looking for my home defense shotgun I watched the TGS videos on Beretta and knew the 1301 tactical was the right choice. Nearly $2k in California but worth every penny. I am confident in my choice and extremely pleased with the product!
The Beretta A400 Xcel is my first ever sporting shotgun and this channel is definitely part of the reason that I even got it. Super cool to see how its made on your channel! Much love from California!
Another great looking video from team TGS. Good B roll and main camera footage, host guiding the talent, talent informing the host. Good narration. Getting good information and entertainment out to the world. Bravo!
Great video! I have a Beretta A400 extreme plus. After 4 seasons i say without hesitation the best waterfowling automatic shotgun on the market today. I shot an AL390 before that love berettas.
The A400 Extreme Plus is the best semi auto I’ve ever had.. and I’ve had them all.. Benelli , Remington, Winchester, Mossburg, Franchi… all fell short in my experience.. ( clays and crows) ❤️😬👍
A400 Xcel owner here, dope semi auto. Sometimes i'm hesitating to only shoot it and sell my over under but it's not always welcome by the shooting grounds... Keep up the good work !
Have to say I loved my A400, it was very reliable and cycled 24g cartridges easily. The main downside was it did get very dirty even on 100 cartridges.
Seeing this, it’s easy to appreciate why they might cost more than a Turkish semi. However, I don’t understand why A400 would be 2-3 times more expensive than an A300. The materials and processes would be similar, and I assume they have similar production costs. I conclude the extra cost is mostly in the perceived value and much larger profit margins.
It's a piece of crap... I know, cause i own one. I was shooting with 34gr, and my receiver it's almost destroyed (the rails). I ask the importer if there was receivers só i could replace it, the answer was, NO. Now, i have a almost brand new weapon all FCK UP, with no solution. Do you still think Beretta is the best there are? Magnum loads my arse***🤬 not even normal loads 😡
In 1997 i bought a Browning Gold semi auto Im thinking of having it serviced soon It only cycles 67.5mm cartridges upwards but any load My friends mostly have Berretta and they cycle anything None are owning the same one they had in 97 Maybe better marketing, maybe maybe not An old friend who shot alot but sadly not with us anymore had a very old a303? , it was apparently indestructible and totally reliable Sponsorship is tricky in all walks of life,i have noticed it,i think as long as its addressed by the channel openly if subtly i can live with it,in fairness Berretta have deep pockets and it must be seen as recognition of Tgs success just try to add balance Im genuinely interested how older guns you were using are fairing now
1301 comp pro is the best semi auto made! its funny how you said longthorn were the best guns made till what ever happened with them. Now your shooting a DT11 beretta are the best thing since sliced bread .. The shooting world is a fickle place and loyatly easier brought .
Two very different products! The channel is developing and I am always learning. This last few years has been an especially steep learning curve about the true things that matter in gunmaking, shooting and life. I think if you have watched much of the stuff we have released this year that I love guns from nearly every maker (except baikal)
We all have a job and mouths to feed. Lets be honest, Johnny is considerably more honest, and better, than any other gun reviewer. It may be in his best interest to make Beretta happy, but he's the best we have. Any intelligent person can see what's going on and I'm not one to mess with a hard working man's bread and butter.
So your obviously sponsored by beretta now which is great but I hope the arrangement won’t be a detriment to the channel for instant having to exclusively shoot beretta’s on the channel. Iv seen similar things happen on other non gun related channels
Would beretta look at the Aus market we arnt allowed semi autos but can have “bolt action / bolt release” ones Best way to explain it they are semi autos that have no sear and can’t be converted back to semi They still blow back Bolt gets held back and you release it with a leaver to chamber the next round All we get atm are Turkish button blasters and there quality is definitely crap
I have shot a number of A400s, my biggest complaint is with the build quality. Two biggest issues, I don't like having a plastic spring shroud which has been known to fail and the double action rods which are welded to the bolt are welded very poorly and have also been a failure point. I'll keep my Al391s, super reliable, yes the 300/400 may have a cleaner better piston design but I never have issues with my 391s.
😎😎 I would really like an A400 extreme plus in green to maybe replace my Benelli SBE2, the problem is my SBE2 has now done 10 years hard work and is still as reliable as ever 🤪 still you can never have too many guns right? 🤔😆😎😎
As a 6'10" guy myself, every time I see you shoot Im wondering what kind of LOP you get on youe guns. As a shooter of less expensive guns I find myself working around non adjustable stocks a lot.
I realize a guy has to pay the bills but it’s pretty hard to get excited about any of today’s mass produced firearms. It’s just the signs of the times but you can only charge so much for guns that have cheap finishes and plastic bits and are ugly to boot. Luckily the used market is full of bargains for us old curmudgeons! 😁👍🏼
Beretta make the best semi automatic, i love my a400 ,but their over and under shotguns are finished shite ,with shite wood ,seen alot of eell classics with wood like a scaffolding plank, miroku rule the over and under market mk38 mk11 cant be beaten for the price and quality
I have an a400 extreme I’ve owned it for this will be my tenth year, I’ve dropped it in ponds and lakes and hunted with it dirty and sandy and also in salt water and I’ve only cleaned that gun 5 times over the course of its life… I also put 3-5k shells a year threw it no issues
Quality control is absolute garbage! CX4 storm carbines with misaligned barrels and bolts scraping one side of the receiver. I had 2 replacements with the same problem before I just said screw it. Buck Feretta!

Loving the continuation of the Beretta factory series.
Agree 👍
Very interesting walkthrough of the manufacturing process. Thanks for using your access so we all can learn and thanks for sharing

I use an A400 Xplor Unico on my farm, and it is an outstanding semi-automatic shotgun.
These Beretta videos are excellent, after seeing the factory it and their processes I ended up buying a new Beretta.
Love my A400 xcel. Cycles flawlessly
A400 Xcel owner here, dope semi auto. Sometimes i'm hesitating to only shoot it and sell my over under but it's not always welcome by the shooting grounds...
Keep up the good work !
I’ve got 2 a400’s and I love them, very underrated gun indeed
Great video!
Excellent video, really enjoy seeing behind the scenes of Beretta.
Perfect timing. I just picked up an A400 xcel sporting yesterday.
Enjoy
Found that really interesting.
Never shoot one but made very curious, to try one out 👍
Great review as always guys 👏
Have to say I loved my A400, it was very reliable and cycled 24g cartridges easily. The main downside was it did get very dirty even on 100 cartridges.
I'm just driving right now to go pick up my first Beretta... a handgun though! Shotgun will be next
Love the insight.
I still like my 391's, A400 feel cheap next to them.
Love my 1301 com, it outperforms all my other semi-auto shotguns and puts a hurting on the ducks.
Very beautiful footage, may I ask what is your camera?
Got the blue a400 great gun

Satisfaction

If you don't mind a tour of the franchi shotgun factory, please
I friggin love my a400 extreme

And you are most likely correct!
Thats awesome they break in the gun on a machine.
definitely my favourite part of the tour!
Great show have 4 a400 excels…2 20s & 2 12s
i really want to get hands on with the 28
A400 excel possibly the best semi auto made today. P.S another excellent video.

@joaolitos well that's that one sorted out , don't buy another one.
In 1997 i bought a Browning Gold semi auto
Im thinking of having it serviced soon
It only cycles 67.5mm cartridges upwards but any load
My friends mostly have Berretta and they cycle anything
None are owning the same one they had in 97
Maybe better marketing, maybe maybe not
An old friend who shot alot but sadly not with us anymore had a very old a303? , it was apparently indestructible and totally reliable
Sponsorship is tricky in all walks of life,i have noticed it,i think as long as its addressed by the channel openly if subtly i can live with it,in fairness Berretta have deep pockets and it must be seen as recognition of Tgs success just try to add balance

I had a browning gold hunter and it was flawless . I did pull off the barrel and clean the gas mech. a lot . It would cycle any load .

That is unfair. One may have become better than another.
Beretta has been around alot longer so i doubt it !!

Wish you had a sponsor that made Manly guns like Browning 😂😂

Fingers crossed 🤞
would be cool!

Hey Jonny, do you think Benelli/Beretta will ever make receivers out of titanium?
The trigger group is Benelli?
These internals look exactly like my 1301 tac. Did the 1301 or a400 come first?
I'm about 99% certain the a400.
A400 2012
1301 tac 2014

Quality control must have been on strike when they made my 694
Probably came in just before riposo, most are in a hurry to go home to eat 😄
I've sold it. I've had so many problems with its lovely gun to shoot, but I'm very disappointed with the quality. I won't be buying a berrata again

Caesar Guerini
CAESAR GUERINI INVICTUS III limited edition

Maxus

can't be crying poverty and having custom stock's made 🤔
