Making your own dressing is fast, easy, and you'll always know what is in it with ingredients you can pronounce!
    I found this recipe here:
    www.pennilesspa...
    Ingredients
1 cup of the vinegar (any type is fine, I used apple cider vinegar)
1 1/3 cup of olive oil or other oil (I used mostly olive oil, the rest cannola oil)
    2 tablespoons of water
    1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
    1/2 tablespoon onion powder
1/2 tablespoon honey or white sugar
    1 tablespoons dried oregano
    1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
    1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
    1/2 teaspoon dried basil
    1/2 tablespoon dried parsley
    1 tablespoons salt
    Instructions
    1. Pour ingredients into a glass jar or bottle with a cover. You may need to use a funnel, in which case pour the dry things in first before the liquids.
    2. Cover and shake well.
    3. Use, or refrigerate for up to 90 days.
    4. Enjoy!
I'm working on a website! It will take some time to get it going, but here it is: www.cookingandc...

Tammy and I have been friends for many years and met here on UA-cam! Since then we have met up in real life many times. You will LOVE her tutorials and learn how to decorate cupcakes better than most bakeries do. She lives in Canada, but I really wish she lived next door.
Also check out Jenn of cupcakesandcardio. You will love her as well. tinyurl.com/lah...
She and I have just recently become YT besties, have now met in real life twice and done some video collaborations together. When we are together, we "get" each other. It is hard to explain to people sometimes what you do and it is nice to be comfy knowing that she also understands everything I am talking about. Oddly enough, she too lives in Canada. I may have to move there soon since such awesome ladies are produced there!
Lastly, smile! I like it when you smile :)

I just made this today. I'm trying to go "no added sugar". I used the organic apple cider vinegar with honey with the Mother. It tastes very good. As an added bonus, I had everything already in the kitchen. Thank you for sharing.

Making your own Italian dressing is better than buying bottled Italian dressing at a supermarket.

This is great! I used Italian seasoning, 1/2 tsp of garlic granules, 1/4 tsp paprika and a little more parsley. Really good marinade for chicken too.

I love italian dressing. Thank you so much. I also liked how you added that you can use whatever oils or vinagers so you answered most of those questions before they were asked. I know though that alot of people will still ask because they don't listen. Thank you again. I really love all your videos and recipes and really appreciate you making them. :) Lisa

This dressing is sooooo delish. Better than any store bought Italian dressing. And this homemade dressing is the exact consistency of the store bought. I am using it for the second time today on subs again

I like Zesty Itillan Dressing. I don't like it at all on salad but it does taste good over cucumbers & onions also put it over chicken or pork & either fry or bake. You did leave out the most important spice & that is red pepper flakes. That is why it is called Zesty. Yours is just Itallian.

This is a good recipe BUT people should add 1/2 teaspoon of xanthan gum to thicken it a little! Sounds foreign & weird if you heard of it for the first time but it's a totally non-harmful, gluten free ingredient. It will add some thickness to the dressing and make sure the herbs & everything else don't separate - which I found they do (at the top) even after shaking it. Anyway, this turned out great. Thank you.
