Goodness, this was published three weeks ago and I'm only seeing it now. I didn't click the bell, so I never get notificactions, I just log in every day - I must've been busy that day! Great timing though, I've got some vinegar going and wanted to double check when to strain it.
I've been making 'soda-juice' fermentaiton with frozen mixed berries & dried hibiscus flowers. It's been so tasty and my family loves it. I only leave it a week and I could see how leaving it longer could turn into vinegar. I am experimenting with a fresh oranges slices but it seems to be taking longer.
What is your base for the sodas? I make ginger bug sodas with tea/juice and fruit. First ferment is with all the fruit/tea in, then I strain and bottle into old kombucha bottles to start the carbonation. My favorite flavors have been mango/orange/pineapple (that one really carbonates), cherry chamomile, turmeric lime/lemon, and blueberry green tea. I’ve been wanting to try it with hibiscus for awhile now!
Your jar covers are adorable. Last time I made vinegar I put too much sugar in it. It's vinegar but it's sweet, tastes good but sweet. I've enjoyed all your vides and I've learned a lot.
My first try l made an apple /carrot vinegar that ended up with kahm yeast, no big deal…it was perfect after straining. I’m going to make orange peel vinegar for cleaning next. Can’t wait! Thx Heidi!

I'm getting ready to make some carrot and orange kvass. Think I'll take the orange peels and try and make some scrap vinegar. Thank you for sharing this information and recipe with us.
Brilliant! Super useful. I had no idea the process was as similar to winemaking as it is. Also, subscribed.
Thank you Heidi! Great video! It has been 6 weeks for my first apple vinegar. Straining out apples this morning. I am so excited. Can't wait for completion.
Dear Sister, so many thanks for your in depth and informative videos. I found your tutorials with the Windows Copilot search which at times makes a link to something that properly represents the search. Excellent instruction on the glories and troubles that may be encountered in the process. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Gives me a few new tips and tricks going into this fall season's home made vinegar celebration.
Glad I found and subscribed to this channel.

Seven words to make algorithms love you.
This is such a great video, thank you so much. I made my first apple core vinegar earlier this year and it never tasted acidic enough.
I tried putting herbs in it for salad dressing and they went mouldy. I searched all over the internet to find the problem and solutions and find not much at all.
You answered all my questions, and so much more in this one short video. I wish I'd found you months ago! Thank you, from Aotearoa, New Zealand 💚💙🙏
I'm also going to try & make Turkey Tail Mushroom vinegar because I doubt that particular mushroom wouldn't get mooshy.
Thank you Heidi! Great video as always. I am making Camelia with starfruit, Mandarin with ginger and citrus with Usnea moss vinegar. God bless you and yours :)
Thank you for explaining the airflow thing! I get it now ❤
I’m so excited now! We’ve used vinegar in our hair for a decade. Now I’m gonna make allot of vinegar! We have made apple before. I’m so excited to make it from citrus and flowers. Spruce sounds wonderful too! Thank you, Heidi.

Did you say you would leave a URL on how to make the bonnets? Not myself today. Wonderful video. Thank you.
I did say that but it is common for me to forget a link or two when trying to gather all the information during the upload. Thanks for letting me know, I have added it and will link it here too: ua-cam.com/video/UZ1TXNs_ez0/v-deo.html
I feel as though the angelic angel of canning has swoon me lately & I’m loving every minute of it. Thank you so much for sharing such amazing content as well as demonstrating! Just started 3 quarts of apple vinegar yesterday from scraps which I used honey for medicinal purposes & 3 quarts of orange vinegar today from mostly peels with organic turbinado cane sugar for cleaning purposes. Wish me luck! God is great & I’m thankful to come across all of your insightful material. Thank you sincerely 😊❤️
感謝您的分享!
一直很想自己製作天然發酵醋,看到妳的影片非常喜愛!
非常希望妳的影片字幕功能,能提供中文字幕的選項。
As far as subtitles on my videos, youtube usually provides that option in the closed captions (CC) but I have no control over what videos they will allow subtitles or language translations, every now and then there is one they prevent it.

You are amazing! Your instructions are informative and very detailed and I'm certainly going to put all (hopefully) your ideas etc into practice and make my own vinegar from here on. Thank you so much, you are a delight to watch.🌸
I too have my first batch started it on Feb 8th.
Great video! Very helpful. Greetings from Sweden 😃🇸🇪👋
Great video! Saving this one for sure! Today I am going to try making vinegar for the first time! Thank you Heidi! Blessings Kiddo!🌻🐛🌿💚🙏💕
GOD is good and thank you for this video i've been wanting to make some vinegar and you're tips are super helpful to me 😊
Goodness, this was published three weeks ago and I'm only seeing it now. I didn't click the bell, so I never get notificactions, I just log in every day - I must've been busy that day! Great timing though, I've got some vinegar going and wanted to double check when to strain it.
Cool video. I only have rainwater here in Tasmania. We have no other water in our town.
Great video, by the way! I love how deeply you explain things. Thank you!
I didn’t know all of that, very informative, & interesting. I subscribed.
Your jar covers are adorable. Last time I made vinegar I put too much sugar in it. It's vinegar but it's sweet, tastes good but sweet. I've enjoyed all your vides and I've learned a lot.
your skin is flawless
Wow! I didn't know that improperios storage would lead to "dirty water" So great to know this❤🎉
Brilliant and informative video- what an inspiration to experiment with home made vinegar making!
My first try l made an apple /carrot vinegar that ended up with kahm yeast, no big deal…it was perfect after straining. I’m going to make orange peel vinegar for cleaning next. Can’t wait! Thx Heidi!
