The reason you guys get lucky all the time , is because your good honest people that don't ask silly money for your cars.. what goes around comes around 👌
Is it true Chris once dropped 50p and when he bent down to pick it up it hit him on the back of his head. Love you guys and always look forward to Chris rooting around for a shilling in the new ventures 🤑
Chris, if you did your search for loose change first, you would have found the key straight away. Loved it when you called Rob back urgently and showed him that you found £1.75.
@@Mechanicalrobno idea lol I guess as they said they took the car out parked it up and it got towed right away. Probably not worth the money to go to collect it from DVLA maybe
Wow! Wot a result! Love it when Chris presented Rob with £1.75 ... and then fished the key out from under the mat. Classic! Boys - you've done really well!
The mileage discrepancy may not have been malicious. It could be that the gauge cluster failed and they replaced it with one from a salvage yard. On an E46 you don't need to code a cluster, you just swap it out. VIN should be on a sticker on the back.
On the basis that I believe that the surprise interaction wasn't staged nor rehearsed, it's great to see Chris so confident and charming on camera these days!
Bit of a weird one with the mileage 11/06/2009 mot passed with 57000 then it’s gone in again 8 days later for another mot this time it’s been recorded with 81000 miles on it then it’s gone in again 2 months later now showing 79000 then gone in after a year showing 65000 15 months later showing 86000 9 months later with 70000 It’s either had new clocks as this era of Bmw the pixels used to blur or stevie wonder has been a mot tester at some point in his career
Robs reaction to a good motor is still golden 🤣🤣🤣🤣he runs round like an excited child on Xmas morning. Quality video lads love it only fellas on UA-cam that are consistent with the videos hands up if you want 3 a week 🤣🤣🤣
You did well there was a real stroke of luck. I don't think people will be doing that again outside Copart, it will get a bit expensive for them. Anyway I think it will be a nice car for someone with the minimum amount of work for you. Thanks for another video Rob and Chris, happy days. 👍👍
Oh I do love to see you both excited! I have no mechanical abilities or knowledge but love watching your vids. Still trying to find the Viva HA body work vids. Loved the engine rebuild. Keep up the great work!
What a result!! I have an E46 330ci myself that I bought a couple of years ago. Black with black leather and auto 'box. It is just a lovely, lovely car and I wouldn't part with it. One thing to be aware of is that all E46s suffer from perished hoses, especially air intake, power steering and the crankcaase breather hoses, so all worth a check over.
What a score you boys had with that key! And the motor to be fair. Good on ya took a risk and csme off, Although id think that gearbox and those seats would have made your money back
Good morning boys 😀 it’s fantastic that Chris played a trick on you for a change Rob with the loose change gag lol 😂 I loved it when you both get a great result form a gamble 👍🏻
Totally agree with you Rob... The E46 is definitely one of those cars that still looks as good today as it did 20+ years ago.. Definitely a big fan, especially the convertible, and my hat off to you mate, great buy Rob 💯💯👊
This is a lovely bit of kit fellas good result on the key your face was a picture rob when you thought Chris had called you back to show you the change that he said was in it these are a timeless model plus its a manual 😉 good luck to bringing this one back to life stay lucky and healthy looking forward to Sundays video 📹 already 😊❤
Good afternoon Rob and Chris, what a great result you guys were so pleased. It is a very nice looking car. Looking forward to the next few videos. Thank you for taking the time to upload another video. Ged.
Hi Rob and Chris, I believe there is an issue with the airbags that have a recall notice so might be worth checking this was done. Great channel with cracking input from you both BT the way. Pete
My son had this exact model in black on a 05 plate , he also watches the channel and just told him , he’s going to watch it later tonight absolutely a lovely car , he traded it in for a Merc , gone back to a BMW X6. Lovely lucky bargain you have picked up Lads 👍🏻
Hi Rob and Chris, what a detective story.. even had £1.75 in it..!! Got to be a winner whatever you do with it..Chris's face when he peeled the carpet back, brilliant..!! Alex.
Love an e46, especially a convertible. Had quite a few of them, manuals, autos, small engines, big engines, petrol and diesel, even an M3! Love their look and their drive, even though they are old now! Good work fellas! 👍🏼
The milleage difference could be just a replacement instrument cluster. I had to change mine years ago. And the mileage on the cluster was obviously different. Check for a dot next to the mileage
Love my E46 330cd 6 speed, 250000 miles and drives like a dream. I also had an E46 330d touring on an 05 plate, sold it in 2011 to a friend with over 200000 miles. Still going steing and now on 500k.
I've watched you two now well for a long time and on this video Chris said money can be made on old cars really hope you do a lot more from 2003 onwards hopefully to.see what they are like to repair keep them coming lads
I’ve got a 330ci sport coupe on an 03 plate - also manual, owned for 13yrs now, recent respray in the same colour, wheels referbed 3yrs ago, arches done etc. great cars,
Those DVLA lorries need to visit certain areas of Birmingham, cars with no tax, no MOT, wheels missing, smashed glass, badly damaged, parked on double yellows, parked on zigzags, parked on zebra crossings and they never get as much as a parking ticket!
Brilliant purchase, it compensates for some of the less good items. The styling is timeless, I consider it a classic look. Looking forward to the next one!
Yes I also prefer the hard top version. My work colleague had one new and she also had the BMW ceiling winch fitted in her garage to lift up the hard top.
I’m 7 minutes in and had to come to the comments ! I’ve been trying to get the missus to allow me to buy one of these ! I’m going to wait to see if this one comes up for sale
Nice one lads. So a bit of History I found. The acution date was 03/05/2024 at Copart Sandwich branch and the winning bid was £1550. Millage at the auction was recorded as 113472. Think I will be messaging you when this one is up for sale.
The reason you guys get lucky all the time , is because your good honest people that don't ask silly money for your cars.. what goes around comes around 👌

Love seeing Chris's personality coming through even more and his level of trolling Rob is pretty masterful at this point lol

What’s the details for that website mate
Also asking for what site you used ☺️ I used to use autoauctions but that site went down

Probably the best Repair channel on UA-cam, Been watching years 😁😮💨
Absolute classic - love the E36 and E46. Well done lads

Rumour has it chris dropped a pound coin once and it hit him on the back of the head he was so fast to pick it up again 😂
Happy for you both, especially Chris finding £1.75!
Best £1.75 Chris has found in a few years.
Lovely car, one of the best looking convertibles,a time less shape, shame road tax is so expensive on them.
Chris found that key looking for change 😂😂😂
Just ruin the video for everyone 😂
Fab find well done Rob, I love Chris' glee on finding £1.75!
On the basis that I believe that the surprise interaction wasn't staged nor rehearsed, it's great to see Chris so confident and charming on camera these days!
All because of Chris doing his change search. Process process process.
Honestly 2 quality guys keep going great watch
Nice model still turns my ed
That’s some property Chris has got.
Never seen rob move so quickly to put the jump pack on 🤣
Makes a nice change to see an E46 that's still holding on to its wheel arches.

Yep you're right Rob, absolutely timeless design. I've had my 330Ci for nearly 10 years - takes a bit of looking after but has never let me down.

My brother had a black one exactly like that one it had a really unusual marble colour upholstery beautiful cars one of the best BMW ever
