What you called "brigadeiro", actually it's more like an other dessert called "trufa", but probably with filling of "brigadeiro". The real brigadeiro it's just the condensend milk with chocolate, butter, all this cooked, and with sprinkles. Brigadeiro don't have a hard chocolate layer outside.

Hey guys! I’m glad you enjoyed Acarajé and Abara. About staying only 90 days here in Brazil: It’s very easy to extend that time. All you need to do if fill out a form, pay a fee (around $20 each) and go to a federal police station. You don’t need to give any reasons to have +90 days. This can come out handy once you’re still going to Amazon and it’s a big region to explore. I hope I’ll get some tips with you about north of Brazil cuz it’s a region that I also want to explore and I think it’s very rich. If you guys go to Pará you should try Tacacá, I know I would if I had the chance 😉
You guys should try a place called "Point do Bode" or "Bar do Nei" (two names, same place). It's a little far from where u're staying, but it's one of the best meat in the city. Go for lunch and try the bode (goat meat), cupim (beef cut) and/or picanha (top sirloin).

Brigadeiro is chewey, with the same consistency throughout the bite, and softer all around. It looks to me what you just sampled are Bon Bons, a French sweet delicacy the Brazilians adopted as one of their own. If the outer crust is slightly crunchy and the inner core is either soft or crunchy with a mish mash of other stuff then it is a Bon Bon. Just like the ones Peggy Bundy devours. Anyhow, your gal is a gift to your audience. Glad seeing you are taking her “about town “. You can tell by her eyes she is relishing the moment. You both are like peas and carrots.

Thank you very much for promoting our country in this worst year for tourism in Brazil. Millions of people depend on tourism to survive and the pandemic leaves them without work and sustenance.
You with your nice videos do more than governments and government people are paid to promote our national tourism. Merry Christmas
About Amazonia! I’m was born and raised in the middle of Amazonia, I’m from Amapa. I suggest to you guys to visit Belém do Pará. It’s the capital of Amazonia, we have Manaus too, but watching your videos and thinking about food, Belem was elected “A creative city of gastronomy” by UNESCO: en.unesco.org/creative-cities/node/324
Visit the south of Brazil. You will not regret it. clean and safe.
Kkkkkkkkkkk
Sulista é fogo né, "clean and safe" KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK frase bem insinuante.
in Pernambuco, you can visit Porto de Galinhas, Praia dos Carneiros, in the capital Recife Antigo, take the catamaran tour.
Hi guys, you should go to Morro de São Paulo, the best beach here in Bahia, 3 hours from Salvador. The place is beautiful and it’s like all the energy is reloaded when you arrive there. Hugs 😬
Did you try the brown cocada? Taste is different.
I prefer the brown one. Much tastier and less sugary.
No but I need to. This was too sugary for me.
Welcome to Brazil, Jesse Pinkman!
Acarajé is our hamburger sandwich ("our" referring to "baianos" - natives of Bahia). hehe!
This dog is so happy sleeping next to his owner 6:44 . Wow. Carefree. Mr Doggy has no worries.
I am not from Salvador, but maybe there are no music performances and dancing due to the pandemic, or because it is a weekday. Please, someone from Bahia indicate to them places where they can find cultural presentations.
You guys have to go to Lençóis Maranhenses (located in the state of Maranhão, in the Northeast) it's a natural "desert" with a lot of white sand dunes with lakes between. It's a paradise and one of the most beautiful thing on earth.
A cocada preta é mais gostosa !
Também prefiro!
6:00 so this food that you are eating, is also i big thing in the Caribbean..we call it it Coconut Cake...basically shaved coconut with a sweet simple syrup and baked and you just eat it...lots of sugar as you said...but yummy. 9:45 sugar rush in one day...lol.
This one, cocada, is not baked, we melt the sugar and add the coconut, mix until it gets thick, shape it and let it dry.
@@keo872 yeah end result is the same thing..
music in salvador is not samba, it is axé, the rhythm is very different from samba. enjoy that they are in the northeast of Brazil and go to Alagoas, for me maceio has the most beautiful beaches in Brazil. be sure to visit the south of the country, it is the European corner of Brazil, and try a better barbecue in the country. visit gramado and canela you will not regret it. good trip!
