    “Cacau” is cocoa. The cocoa beans you found in the bottom of the drink are used for making chocolate. They roast and grind the cocoa beans to make chocolate. The cocoa beans are awfully bitter in its natural state, lots of sugar and milk is added to make delicious chocolates! 🙂

    Dont know if you use google translate to check out some of the comments in Portugese but you will always find someone warning you not to go on deserted beaches, tracks or trails for fear of being robbed.
    In my experience though (I lived and worked in Brazil for three year and travelled extensively) it is much less likely to happen in places like this than if you are close to some more substancial poipulation center or out on the beach in a city outside of the most busy hours.
    Anyway, enjoy your roadtrip , I think you will see even more beutiful beaches once you hit the coastline between Maceio and Maragoggi, make sure to make some stops along Rota Ecologica/Costa dos Corais (the corall coast) for the most caribbean like feel of any part of Brazil.

      Exato! Não é bem assim. Isso funciona mais pra algumas regiões urbanizadas. Esses locais aí são bem seguros, pra acontecer alguma coisa é como vc esperar alguém tirando numa sala de cinema. O Litoral norte tb, próximo a Salvador é bem seguro, pode ficar tranquilo a noite sozinho na praia. Mas de fato, sempre tem gente que não conhece sobre o local e fica vomitando o que não sabe nos comentários, dizendo que é perigoso, isso e aquilo, alguns com um forte complexo de vira lata.

      You´re right. From 2013 to 2017, some criminals were robbing tourists in the trails of Itacaré. The nearby medium-sized cities of Ilhéus and Itabuna have been facing an economic crisis for over a decade and they have a good amount of criminals within their populations. I don´t know if the police arrested them but criminals don´t stay much time in jail if they commit petty crimes. The number of crimes in the region doesn´t compare to what we have in big cities but called a lot of attention from the media because it´s a small coastal town. I´m a photographer and I feel safe in small coastal villages far from the big cities or in the countryside. The same thing happens in North America. The probability of being robbed in Detroit or New Orleans is higher than if you´re in a remote location in Montana or Vermont. Thieves and robbers know that they will have more opportunities and luck if they move to a big and chaotic city. When I am in a high-risk place, I avoid carrying expensive camera gear. Most of the remote coastal fisherman villages in Bahia are very safe. Itaparica, Itacaré, Ilhéus, and Porto Seguro are places that are not very safe. Beaches next to big cities present some risks too and remote places are very safe in general as you mentioned. Take care and have a good 2021!!!

      @@Anderson_Anderas Eu vi relatos e casos divulgados na Internet. Eu ganhei uma semana no Itacaré Eco Resort em troca de um trabalho que eu fiz e quero ir com a minha namorada americana mas os casos que eu vi na Internet me deixaram com o pé atrás. O local é seguro mesmo? Uma câmera fotográfica razoável e uma ou duas lentes passam facilmente dos R$30 mil. Um drone razoável também está acima dos R$10 mil (tudo é caro com o Real desvalorizado como está). Eu fico sempre receoso de usar bom equipamento em locais que apresentem risco.

    • @Anderson_Anderas
      @Anderson_Anderas 3 роки тому

      @@lucianosimasfreaza9753 No geral é seguro. Vc pode estar dentro de um cinema e levar um tiro, vão deixar de frequentar por causa disso? Não é impossível que aconteça um roubo, mas é extremamente improvável. Na Praia do Forte há uns 3 anos teve um caso de roubo envolvendo 3 caras, mas não é algo que acontece com frequência. Tive lá, fiquei com câmera pendurada no pescoço, andava tranquilamente com celular no mão na praia, na vila. A criminalidade é extremamente baixa, assim como nessas regiões que eles estão visitando, o que pode acontecer é um furto, vc deixar de bobeira seu equipamento em algum lugar e não encontrar mais, nunca aconteceu comigo, não é tão fácil como nos grandes centros como Salvador, porém isso acontece em qualquer país. Se vc estiver grilado, vc pode levar uma câmera e uma lente mais em conta. Dá pra bater fotos muito boas com equipamentos mais baratos, qualquer fotografo profissional sabe disso.

I would like to suggest that when you return to my beloved state of Rio de Janeiro, go out in the South Zone (Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon ...) which is beautiful, but Rio has much more to offer. In the city itself visit as beaches called Prainha, Grumari (take the opportunity to go to a restaurant called Point do Grumari that has a stunning view of Restinga da Marambaia). Then proceed to the Lagos Region. In Búzios, a Ferradurinha beach is a real find. In Cabo Frio, be sure to go to Ilha do Japones. In Arraial do Cabo, the beaches of Farol and Pontal are a must. Anyway, many beautiful things to see. Thank you for showing the beauties outside the obvious of my country. 🙏🥰👏

      Is not true. It was not the Portuguese who planted coconut trees on the Brazilian coast. Coconuts have been carried by sea currents around the world for thousands of years.

      This information is not accurate, as stated above. Coconut trees were spread through ocean currents way before the Portuguese set foot anywhere.

      Ele está certo. Completamente certo. O centro de origem do côco é no sudeste asiático. A relaltos de dispersão de frutos de côco via flutuação no oceano em algumas ilhas. Mas no caso do Brasil eles foram plantados/introduzidos inicialmente pelos portugueses no século XIV, os quais se impressionaram com o fato de que aqui no Brasil, o coqueiro produzia com 4 anos, enquanto na Índia, no século XIV demoravam 20 anos. Enfim, estes coqueirais que vemos foram introduzidos, primeiramente na Bahia e Pernambuco e depois no restante do Nordeste. Mas podemos continuar orgulhosos, hoje, o Brasil, já somos o quarto maior produtor de côco do planeta. Talvez alguns coqueiros podem ter surgido da dispersão a partir de seus centro de origem, mas o que vemos do lado das praia são na maioria das vezes, plantações comerciais.

    • @afs3632
      @afs3632 3 роки тому +1

      @@Rauhofer5916 Não é consenso essa sua opinião. Também não vejo lógica nisso, pois há coqueiros EM TODAS as praias tropicais do mundo, em todas as ilhas.
      No Brasil há coqueiros em praias de difícil acesso, lugares ermos mesmo, como os mostrados no vídeo e não haveria interesse nem plantar, até por que não tinha valor comercial. E os portugueses nem consumiam côco.
      Seria mais interessante plantar palmeiras Jussara que produzem o palmito, já valioso naquela época.

    South of Itacaré is the Costa do Dendê, where colonization took place. Beautiful beaches, too. Beware of rocky beaches as the tide can get stuck and in the interior of Bahia there is little violence, I mean more bad assaults. In general, people are honest and well intentioned. E For a medical emergency ask for a UPA (emergency care unit).

      You are generalizing. Part of the interior and especially the Chapada Diamantina is super safe. Safer than any Brazilian city. It is an area that has several historic cities, where the people know each other, and several of these cities have not registered crimes for years. Most small towns are safe in Bahia. The biggest problem is the metropolitan region of Salvador (which they have already visited). I know several cities in Bahia. I lived in a city in the north of Bahia where I walked peacefully with my cell phone, laptop etc at midnight on the street. You cannot generalize. The interior is big and the way you said it, it seems like something that happens in all cities

    In Brazil the government use to say that we have the "blue amazon" in portuguese "amazônia azul". Thats means we have like huge untochable coast like the amazon forest.
    I don't know if you guys know but in the amazon forest we have natives that don't have any contact with us. They don't know nothing about our world. The amazon is so huge and they are like in a space that we cannot reach them. Is not possible by plane because of the threes and there is no river. And is not interesting for the government make contact because they don't have the protection for our diseases. One contact can be the extinction for them.

It aint dangerous at all, but a few accidents with snakes already happen there. So keep this advice. By the way, if it happens u must take a pic of the snake and run to the hospital, they gonna give you the antidote for the venom for free. (BUT SOME ESPICIES ONE BITE AND U'RE DONE). Nice video! Bahia waits for you again.

    Brazil is immense and beautiful. The nature here is mighty. The climate of the whole world depends on the Amazon rainforest remaining strong and for that we have to reach the goal of zero deforestation. But unfortunately the current Brazilian government does not think so. In 2019 and 2020 deforestation increased too much. It is very sad what we are experiencing.
