Someone told me that Brazil is the paradise on the Earth. Now I believe in it. Thanks to Alex and Lindsay! Good job!
Talking about nature no country in the world can top Brazil.
Wow that’s great to hear 😊
Obrigado 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Brazil really is
Is sad to think that the most of the people who live here never went to none of these places
@@rustcohle9267 This is also Brazil, the south. Best region in Brazil to live in. I live here.

“Cacau” is cocoa. The cocoa beans you found in the bottom of the drink are used for making chocolate. They roast and grind the cocoa beans to make chocolate. The cocoa beans are awfully bitter in its natural state, lots of sugar and milk is added to make delicious chocolates! 🙂
Check out the chocolate factory in Trancoso, Bahia:

The northeast beaches in Brazil remind me of the Philippines, all those coconut trees!
when you guys going to collab?
We have all the world here
Yes both of You are in the right Place! However, in BRasil many right and amazing Places to Go! Enjoy!!
You guys sure know how to find the paradise beaches. The birds that build those nests are The Japiim. In English it's called the golden-winged cacique. One of the most beautiful Brazilian birds and has a lovely chirp.
Itacaré beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil. Have fun!!
Yes, eat the pulp off the cacao seeds. It gives you instant bliss. The birds with hanging nests are named "caciques." Love your videos.
Itacaré Brasil Lugares fantástico 👍👏👏👏👏
Fernando de Noronha is a wonder island in the cost of the state of Pernambuco. It's a nature sanctuary!!
eles gostam de viajar sem gastar muito
Don't be "bairrista" kkkkkk
Aplausos!!!
Welcome to Brazil!
So far this is my favorite vlog from Brazil!! Although, I did like to see that your medical insurance worked out for you. But this vlog is visually STUNNING!!
I think the Brazilian public hospital may not have charged him anything
He didn’t need his insurance at all 😉
Health care is free in brazil even for tourists, insurance isn't even needed
4:18 wow that place is littered with coconut trees...looks great. I wonder how jealous are your friends back home (winter) of you?
😊😊
I love this channel! As a brazilian it's pretty cool to know what gringos think about here and us and you are showing our country beautifully, TKS for that!
My tips are: you should go to Tambaba Beach - João Pessoa/Paraíba. It's beautiful and you can get naked there :)
And have you heard about Alter do Chão? It's in Pará, north of Brazil. There are Amazon forest and incredible rivers beaches.
Beijos
I loved the part where the waterline was showing when going slowly underwater slow enough to see a crystal clear waterline when going all the way underwater! I loved it a lot!🥰❤️😘💕🥰❤️😘💕🥰❤️😘💕🥰❤️😘💕🥰❤️😘💕🥰❤️😘💕
Beautiful,Beautiful, BEAUTIFUL. Beaches this place is AMAZING.
It seemed like you were in the scenery of that old movie Blue Lagoon. Amazing how such a beautiful place is so secluted and hidden.
That is so cool. You just can't beat the beach and cute little beach towns. Love it.

Que praia linda é Ribeira! Coqueiros, matas, areia, córrego desaguando ...lindo demais!
Beautiful sights, beautiful soundtrack, beautiful girl, beautiful all. Thanks for visiting our beloved Brazil.
it would be really cool if you were to travel around brazil with a motorhome and see what the country has to offer!
We dont really have a strong motorhome culture here, so that would be a challenge
Bahia - Brazil my favorite place on earth 🌎 so far. Best food, people and 🏖️.
Loved it all but the tide-pool critter viewing was the best!
Dont know if you use google translate to check out some of the comments in Portugese but you will always find someone warning you not to go on deserted beaches, tracks or trails for fear of being robbed.
In my experience though (I lived and worked in Brazil for three year and travelled extensively) it is much less likely to happen in places like this than if you are close to some more substancial poipulation center or out on the beach in a city outside of the most busy hours.
Anyway, enjoy your roadtrip , I think you will see even more beutiful beaches once you hit the coastline between Maceio and Maragoggi, make sure to make some stops along Rota Ecologica/Costa dos Corais (the corall coast) for the most caribbean like feel of any part of Brazil.
Exato!
You´re right. From 2013 to 2017, some criminals were robbing tourists in the trails of Itacaré. The nearby medium-sized cities of Ilhéus and Itabuna have been facing an economic crisis for over a decade and they have a good amount of criminals within their populations. I don´t know if the police arrested them but criminals don´t stay much time in jail if they commit petty crimes. The number of crimes in the region doesn´t compare to what we have in big cities but called a lot of attention from the media because it´s a small coastal town. I´m a photographer and I feel safe in small coastal villages far from the big cities or in the countryside. The same thing happens in North America. The probability of being robbed in Detroit or New Orleans is higher than if you´re in a remote location in Montana or Vermont. Thieves and robbers know that they will have more opportunities and luck if they move to a big and chaotic city. When I am in a high-risk place, I avoid carrying expensive camera gear. Most of the remote coastal fisherman villages in Bahia are very safe. Itaparica, Itacaré, Ilhéus, and Porto Seguro are places that are not very safe. Beaches next to big cities present some risks too and remote places are very safe in general as you mentioned. Take care and have a good 2021!!!
@@lucianosimasfreaza9753 No geral é seguro.
The experience was absolute paradise
It was the best vídeo you’ve made so far. Congrats
Thank you 🙏

Obrigado!

I totally feel you. There are some places that give paper straws like when we were in rio but others give plastic.
When I hear Brazilians say that they want so much to go to Hawaii, I ask why.
The Brazilian coast is ideal to travel on a yacht. So many beautiful places to see.
Beautiful sunset!
I'm loving your trip through Brazil. I would like to suggest that when you return to my beloved state of Rio de Janeiro, go out in the South Zone (Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon ...) which is beautiful, but Rio has much more to offer. In the city itself visit as beaches called Prainha, Grumari (take the opportunity to go to a restaurant called Point do Grumari that has a stunning view of Restinga da Marambaia). Then proceed to the Lagos Region. In Búzios, a Ferradurinha beach is a real find. In Cabo Frio, be sure to go to Ilha do Japones. In Arraial do Cabo, the beaches of Farol and Pontal are a must. Anyway, many beautiful things to see. Thank you for showing the beauties outside the obvious of my country. 🙏🥰👏
More than Beautiful! I am brazilian, and learning with you about Northern Easter Part. You are brave.
I just wish you guys could hang out more on one beach for a day, get some tan, drink juices or caipirinhas sitting down on the sand, having a real Brazilian experience - just relax. I´ll keep my fingers crossed you guys have a chance to do just that... In Bahia, nobody is in a hurry, that´s for sure ;-)
Thank you both for showing part of the beautiful Brazilian coastline to the world in such a cool way
Wow! Beautiful images!
Guys, CACAU fruit is where the beans that makes chocolate comes from, aka Cocoa fruit.
Guys you need to go in south Brazil, Florianópolis and Gramado two beautiful places.
Beautyful,,
You guys need to visit Buzios and Arraial do Cabo.
_Jackfruit in Brazil is the fruit tradicional, mesmo what existe in the Ásia, principalmente in the índia._
Felicidades!!! Aqui no Brasil .
BRASIL AGRADECE 💚
And when you have a chance, pick up a translated copy of any Jorge Amado book about Bahia. That will put you in perspective and give you a new light on what you saw, albeit romanticised.
Yes, natural coastline is amazing in Brazil. I have family in Brazil but believe they are more inland. They're in Delfinopolis, Minas Gerais. Originally from Passos. I am not familiar at all. We are Portuguese and Spanish decendent's. My family in Brazil have been there for a long time. They originated from Iberian peninsula way back....I still have family in Spain and Portugal.
muito legal !
Suggestion: I am a psychologist (Quantum Physics study). I will give you an advice: Dont listen to negative people. Do not put attention to fear, negative feelings..
The person attracts everything that put attention..(with his thoughts and feelings.)
That is if we put attention on the negative, we will attract negative situations....
That is if we put attention on the positive, we will attract positive situations...

Lindo!
I was born just outside Itacare, in a small town. I'm really glad you're enjoying it so much. If you're going south try to visit Porto Seguro region, but if your destination is north try Mangue Seco, Maragogi, Porto de Galinhas, João Pessoa, Natal, Fortaleza, Jericoacoara, Praia do Itaqui e Barra Grande (Piauí state) e Lençois Maranhenses.
please come to know Florianopolis here in Brazil
Remember that before the portuguese on these beaches there were no coconut palm trees. Coconut palm trees are asian native!
Is not true. It was not the Portuguese who planted coconut trees on the Brazilian coast. Coconuts have been carried by sea currents around the world for thousands of years.
This information is not accurate, as stated above. Coconut trees were spread through ocean currents way before the Portuguese set foot anywhere.
Ele está certo. Completamente certo.
@@afs3632 The same is valid to mango trees and jaca trees. The portuguese brought them. Take a look in brazilian history, before writing that it´s not true.
4:50 and you are on the coast of just one state in the northeast. several other northeastern states are missing. not to mention that you have not yet gone to the interior of Brazil, just the coast. in the amazon there are rivers so big that they behave like oceans. it has rivers with beaches with waves of 2 meters high.
You Guys are amazing
Somebody needs to hit the treadmill.
South of Itacaré is the Costa do Dendê, where colonization took place. Beautiful beaches, too. Beware of rocky beaches as the tide can get stuck and in the interior of Bahia there is little violence, I mean more bad assaults. In general, people are honest and well intentioned. E For a medical emergency ask for a UPA (emergency care unit).
You are generalizing. Part of the interior and especially the Chapada Diamantina is super safe. Safer than any Brazilian city. It is an area that has several historic cities, where the people know each other, and several of these cities have not registered crimes for years. Most small towns are safe in Bahia. The biggest problem is the metropolitan region of Salvador (which they have already visited). I know several cities in Bahia. I lived in a city in the north of Bahia where I walked peacefully with my cell phone, laptop etc at midnight on the street. You cannot generalize. The interior is big and the way you said it, it seems like something that happens in all cities
I think weaver finches make those nests.
In Brazil the government use to say that we have the "blue amazon" in portuguese "amazônia azul". Thats means we have like huge untochable coast like the amazon forest.
I don't know if you guys know but in the amazon forest we have natives that don't have any contact with us. They don't know nothing about our world. The amazon is so huge and they are like in a space that we cannot reach them. Is not possible by plane because of the threes and there is no river. And is not interesting for the government make contact because they don't have the protection for our diseases. One contact can be the extinction for them.
Q&A: I’m following all your videos since SP (Sao Paulo), I have a question about if you’re using the same mask every day or there are more than one for replacement.
We are enjoying so much the whole trip. Congratulations.

Hey, brazilian here. Just take care with the snakes. Itacare has a lot. But is not a big deal, they wont bite you for nothing
Oh I had no idea, didn’t see any though
@@TheTravelbum, I've seen a lot of them. Usually they hide from people, and only bite you if u step on them, or very close to them. It aint dangerous at all, but a few accidents with snakes already happen there. So keep this advice. By the way, if it happens u must take a pic of the snake and run to the hospital, they gonna give you the antidote for the venom for free. (BUT SOME ESPICIES ONE BITE AND U'RE DONE). Nice video! Bahia waits for you again.

Hi guys, be careful about "ouriços do mar" (sea urchins ) in those places. They are inoffensive, in fact you can cacth some and people even eat it, but the danger is to step over or when you support the hands to move on the rocks. See these videos.
Brazil is immense and beautiful. The nature here is mighty. The climate of the whole world depends on the Amazon rainforest remaining strong and for that we have to reach the goal of zero deforestation. But unfortunately the current Brazilian government does not think so. In 2019 and 2020 deforestation increased too much. It is very sad what we are experiencing.

Cocoa is cooked (baked) cacao. Cacao is the English term for the raw bean
The seeds are toasted to make what is known as......chocolate.
