    This was one of the best tutorials I have seen. I don't know why people are saying it is unclear or they can't understand it because I'm in a room full of kids playing and being loud and I understood perfectly. I am a beginner also. Thank you so much! I'm going to make my daughter a pillow using this pattern!☺️

    My round two makes it into a cup instead of a flat circle… what might I be getting wrong? 😅

    • @AdoreCreaCrochet
      @AdoreCreaCrochet  Місяць тому +2

      Oh no, let’s see if we can fix that! 😊 It sounds like you might be increasing too little in round two. Make sure you’re following the pattern's stitch counts closely-sometimes it’s easy to miss a stitch or two by mistake. Another tip is to check your tension; if your stitches are too tight, that can cause the circle to "cup" instead of laying flat. You’ve got this! Keep going, and let me know if you need more help! 🧶💪

    • @AdoreCreaCrochet
      @AdoreCreaCrochet  2 місяці тому +1

      What a wonderful idea! 😊 Yes, you can absolutely make a round blanket using a crochet circle pattern, You can continue expanding the circle with more rounds until it's the size you want, or you could connect multiple circles to create a larger blanket.
      A round blanket will look so cozy on your grandson's sofa, and I'm sure he'll love the thought and effort you put into making it for him. 🧶💖 Just take it one round at a time, and don't hesitate to reach out if you need help with the pattern!

    I struggled with the magic circle because I can't see which is the tail end of the yarn. My magic circle doesn't pull tight.

    • @AdoreCreaCrochet
      @AdoreCreaCrochet  Місяць тому +1

      I totally understand the struggle with the magic circle! It can be tricky when you're starting out. A helpful tip is to make sure you're holding the working yarn and tail yarn separately and that the tail is tucked under as you make your loop. Also, when you're pulling the magic circle tight, make sure to grab the tail end and give it a firm pull to close the circle. Practice makes perfect, so don't get discouraged! You're doing great!

  • @twinklestar3945

    Mine keeps wanting to ruffle up at 4-6 rows. I might frog it and try to make it without increasing each row and see if that makes it flat for me. Does anyone know if that will work for a blanket?

    • @AdoreCreaCrochet
      @AdoreCreaCrochet  11 днів тому +1

      Thank you for sharing your experience! If your circle is ruffling, it usually means you're increasing too much or too quickly. Or itr might have do with your tension. It's great to experiment to make it work for you! Let me know how it turns out - you're doing amazing!"

    hi! im ending up with 22 stitches on round 2 instead of 24, and cant find understand what im doing wrong :c I've used every stitch from round 1 and checked multiple times but i cant get to 24

    • @AdoreCreaCrochet
      @AdoreCreaCrochet  17 днів тому

      Hi there! I totally understand how frustrating that can be. If you're ending up with 22 stitches instead of 24, you might be missing a stitch or accidentally skipping one in the repeat. You have to make 2 double crochet in each of the 12 stitches, then you will get 24 stitches.

    My circle has a lot of holes at the end of each round, i followed the instructions exactly, what is the cause of the problem?

    • @AdoreCreaCrochet
      @AdoreCreaCrochet  14 днів тому

      The holes at the end of each round might be caused by a couple of things, even if you've followed the instructions carefully. Here are a few possible causes and fixes:
      Loose Stitches: If your stitches are too loose, they can create gaps between them, leading to those holes. Try tightening your tension a little bit while crocheting to make the stitches fit more closely together.
      Wrong Stitch Placement: Make sure that you're placing your stitches in the correct spots, especially the first stitch of each round. If you're not inserting the hook into the right stitch, it can cause uneven gaps. Double-check the video for stitch placement and ensure you're working into the right stitch or chain.
      Join the Round Correctly: If you’re joining the rounds with a slip stitch, make sure you’re joining neatly and snugly, as a loose join can create gaps. Alternatively, you could try using a stitch marker to mark the start of each round and avoid a slip stitch join altogether, which helps keep the rounds tight and smooth.

    • @AdoreCreaCrochet
      @AdoreCreaCrochet  Місяць тому +1

      I'm so sorry to hear you're feeling frustrated! 😟 It can definitely be tricky at first, especially with smaller hooks like the 3.0mm one. It might help to try using a slightly larger hook, as it can make it easier to work with, especially when learning new techniques. Also, make sure the tension isn't too tight, as that can make the stitches hard to do. Don't give up, you're doing great, and it will click with practice! If you need any tips or more detailed instructions, feel free to ask. You've got this! 💪🧶😊

      I am the same way. Written patterns are better so what I do is I watch the video at least twice, and on the third one I take written notes for each round.I write the pattern for each round.Then I follow the written pattern and refer to the video at the same time. It doesn't take a lot of time. You're not going to write down each and every step, because you'll know the pattern in the first 3 seconds and can write it down. Hope this helps. Keep going with it. You can do it.😊

Don’t give up - you’re doing great!

    NO THIS IS TOO HARD I DON'T WANT A MAGIC CIRCLE I JUST WANT A CIRCLE😊

    • @AdoreCreaCrochet
      @AdoreCreaCrochet  20 днів тому +1

      No worries at all! If the magic circle feels tricky, you can definitely make a simple circle without it. Here's an easy way to do it:
      Start with a chain:
      Begin by making a slip knot and then create a chain of 4 chains.
      Join the chain into a ring:
      Join the last chain with a slip stitch to the first chain to form a ring.
      Crochet into the ring:
      Now, simply make your stitches 12 dc (double crochet) into the ring.
      Tighten the ring:
      Once you’ve finished your stitches, pull the starting tail to close the circle.
      This method will give you a nice, simple circle without the magic circle. 😊
      Hope this helps, and enjoy crocheting!
