In the 1970s I used to sit and listen to the old prospector's talk how they would fly around the world at different times of the year find rubies and sapphires I forget what they would go to Australia for, these guys were in their 70s early 80s and they still were prospecting !
I like the way you can read the Kreek you and Rigby found some great spots ,,looking forward to the return trip For a weekend worth of prospecting Great adventure thanks TANK
That first creek looks amazing. You could do a dozen videos within 50 feet of each other and hit a new spot every time. It would have been cool if you could verify the creek had gold in it. What the heck was that rock? Wow! Red stuff all through it... funky and now gone. Lol
I'm in Stevens Point...never knew there was gold in streams and rivers around here. I would think the Wolf River up by Keshena would be good. Lots of rapids...lots of bedrock...Boulders...waterfalls....Ever check there? I have done a lot of trout fishing in the streams so I can see where it might be. Also the mighty Wisconsin River.
looks like you did very good and your going to have to set up thaat big sluice getting that much in a few pans boy oh boy you will have a nice haul the rookie
Holy Smokers thats good gold. Try tapping in the center only and don't spin the water in the pan from right to left. Just go front to back and tap in the center. Thats what i do and it works great. Thanks Der Guy.
Is there a possibility of getting a backhoe in there ? For thousands of years that stream has meandered through, changing course many times. The gold you're recovering is runoff from a glacier deposit. My thinking is more gold away from stream. A backhoe could clear overburden and get down to good stuff. Maybe multiple clay layers with gold trapped within the strata. Just my thoughts... Nice gold ! 🤠⚒⛏👍
Oh my Allan! Now you’ve gone and given him a idea.... which I totally support! He still won’t get me that dump truck full of Lake Superior beach sand I asked for. Lol
With a gravel bar that big, there's likely a paystreak running through it. I would test pan a line of holes from the rivers edge to the bank straight through the middle of the Gravel Bar
Great videos! Get that gold! Time for me to head to Little San Domingo Wash north of Morristown Arizona for some nugget shooting . . . My grandfather used to tell me tales of his brother panning for gold in the Rock River between Jefferson and Fort Atkinson Wisconsin. Gonna try the area at the island south of Jefferson this summer. Have fun out there!
Have you seen 60 miles east of Superior Wisconsin on the south shore of Lake Superior and the black sand is heavy and would like to see your discovery of gold there😂
Rigby is not a hound dog he is a gold retriever not a golden retriever, but for sure he is a beef stick eater. Looks like a great place, A black rock fire place would be cool. You could place a few Chris Lilley rocks in the corners. Nice!
You know 1 thing that I have noticed is that not only is the suffer bottle good for picking up gold you can also pick up the black sand after you pull it away from the gold in your pan . Just keep the bottles marked so you don't accidentally suck up gold in your black sand bottle and start all over again.
That’s how I fish...I check a spot on the way to my spot! 😂✅👍🏻! Just subscribed! I live in a non gold state, but recently bought a sluice fox just for fun! Great videos!
Wow Jason for a second there I thought you came to Iowa and was working the gravel bar I found. It looked almost EXACTLY the same right Dow to the small shoot of water where I put my sluice. I have been working the inside bend shore right above the gravels for now because it’s not frozen and am finding 75-100 smaller specs per hour run. As a 6 month rookie I am pumped to know I am learning how to read a creek. Your pointing out the areas on camera make great teaching visuals. Wish there was a way I could show you my pans from that gravel bar. The great thing is I can get to the spot, set up, and start running in less then 20 minutes. Keep up the great videos apparently they are working for meant least!!!
Its nice to hear feedback from areas like the ones i show !!! Thank you!!! This coming season should prove to be the best yet !!!! Thanks for watching and commenting!!
In spot number one you may want to consider that is a flood zone and in the Spring those gravel bars may be covered with water??? Good luck Bro!! Thanks for sharing!!
LOL my gold ends up on the right side for me when doing my final cleanups, I don't know why either. I thought it was like my toilet flow. If your above the equator the flow goes right if your below the equator it goes right. Hmmmmm
Good times, even if frozen. I may go jump in the creek for a couple hours today. Your videos keep me itching for better weather, but if the sun is shining it’s perfect weather. My hard head. Sill gotta get a new phone. Still having issues but maybe if I get a short bit today I’ll try to upload and see how it goes. I don’t have a nice beaver crik to play on.🤷🏻♂️🍺
Wow, you hit some great spots today. Looking forward to seeing your return and you hitting it hard. Thanks for sharing, good luck, happy hunting and take care.
i would guess where ya see those big rocks and other heavys drop out on them gravel bars/banks would be where i would test, theres an old old saying that i been hearing my whole life it states "THAT GOLD IS WHERE YA FIND IT" i am supprised that you show as much of the creeks you do, as poachers/claim jumpers might get ahead of you and hit those spots!! yup you have to always test. great video
Thats a spot,ha ha,amazing, good gold there, but if you know fines are going, can do something like setting sluices one after the other, super sluice first wirh dream mat on,and second sluice with shallow riffles,Alans carboard silicone mat like, fines will drop on a longer sluice, maybe thats how brazilian garimpeiros do,way looooong sluices, catching all. Thank you Jason very interesting vid, amazing place, watch out, brewsky and hammers are not friends,as your finger shows ,ha ha
Your opening scene at the first creek looks interesting alright , i would probably go up to the apex of that first gravel bar where the bigs are and that little channel running through , and test pan from left to right across ,starting at the bar moving across even that little channel of water . Then you moved up along the other side , i would go to the end of that one too , and test from right to left and even a bit into the creek . Anyway it should be fun if you can hit the right spot , like you say test test test , lol . I must give it a hit myself haven't been out for months , getting itchy gold fingers , meantime i'll just watch you Jason and the Rig bomb ,ha ha . cheers .
@@FlourgoldWizards Yeah i'm OK , just that work has gone crazy this year for some reason , and i don't have the time or energy left over for the fun things , but hopefully next year .cheers .

Merry Christmas my friend.😎👍👍👌👌⛏⛏🎄🎄🎋🎋
