I really love your appreciation of God’s natural beauty all around us. No matter where you are. As an OTR Truck Driver, I get to see a ton of it each day. A single mile can change your whole view as each mile or bend of a creek brings about something a little different.
I also appreciate the evident bond between you and Rigby. It is clear he is not your dog. He’s your friend. That’s special. A special blessing not everyone seems to appreciate.

Those batea pans float like crazy!
This spring I was looking at the classifier for fossils or cool stones to tumble.
I looked down and my $70 pan had gone! I saw it bobbing and disappearing and re emerging.
Long story short and a chase scene I wish I’d recorded, it became pushed up against a branch.

In the Creek I'm working there was a Bucket Line Dredge, around 1880, after they were done Copper was mined in the area. A Smelter was built upstream and they would loose some Copper in the process. Marble size nuggets of Copper are sometimes found when panning. I just yesterday found one in the bottom of the hole I was working with the Gold Monster. 👀😲👍🤠🌵

I got a pair of Batea pans for me and me mate. I bought em, he covered shipping from Australia. They are flipping awesome! And yes, I wear mine as a hat at times...My Batea is steel.

Another great video my bro. Great location scenery wise. Better luck next time for gold. A little nerdy geology FYI for you... those big boulders you showed earlier in the video like most other random boulders are known as glacial erratics. Meaning they are not native to the local bedrock and were deposited in their current location by glaciers as they melted. Those boulders can quite often be hundreds of miles away from their original parent bedrock. Most of those could once have been in Canada before a glacier came through and picked them up and carried them South until the glacier melted and deposited them roughly 18000 years ago. Stay cool.
