Edging - Mix It Up!

There are 6 main reasons to vary the ways that you edge to maximize both your pleasure and your progress in this course.
1. When you vary the ways that you experience self-pleasure, it gives you a variety of novel experiences from which to derive pleasure. Just like sex - it gets vanilla to do the same thing over and over. Your pleasure will be greater the more you vary.
2. It trains your nervous system to gain flexibility in managing sexual energy and pleasure. So, you can learn to last longer and feel more intense pleasure without ejaculating.
3. It helps you learn where your blocks are. Patterns of tension, due to fascial constriction, are a primary reason it is hard to move energy through certain parts of the body and avoid ejaculating. When we move to different positions, the fascia tighten and constrict in certain areas.
If it is harder to manage the stimulation in certain positions, it tells you where in the body the blocks are so you can learn to move the energy through these areas. Once you have learned where a block is, it's just a matter of time before it opens, as long as you give that area attention as you pleasure (see the "Moving Sexual Energy" video for more info on this one).
4. It better mimics the variety of sexual positions and experiences you would have with a partner. So, obvi this prepares you better for experiences beyond self-pleasure.
5. Circumstances: it allows you to fit in self-pleasure practice when you have less time, or you are traveling, don't have access to certain toys, you are in a certain mood... whatever the circumstances are.
6. You learn more when you mix things up - it gives you perspectives you might not get if you don't. And this is the most important part! Sex and self-pleasure are a SKILL that take practice and time to develop. The more you practice, and the more you learn, the more pleasure you get!
