I love your war against gnats.😂. you give me hope with semi hydro. I’m struggling but getting better at pon
Hahah the war will never be over 😂 one thing I wanna start doing with pon is trying the shower method vs having a reservoir. I have an idea that might be the cure for harder plants 💡
lmao i love your vibe. subscribing!!
😅🥰🫶🏽
Heyy baby girl glad to see u my planty friend 💚💚💚💚
Hey girly 💕🥰
When I purchase new beauties I quarantine them for 1 week before they can join the rest of the group after spraying with Neem Oil. I do not water. After 1 week the soil is pretty dry and just falls right off with the help of a toothbrush. You have some really nice beauties. Looking forward to you sharing how they are growing. 🌿💚
I use to quarantine my plants as well, but I am running out of space lol 😅 hopefully no mealy bugs!
I just got a ppp and I'm planning on putting into leca but now after seeing your video I might put it into pon. Thanks for the tip.
Yes I would put that one in pon as well if I had it 🌿😇
Hey daughter I must have missed this one those are beautiful I have a scindapsis I think I'll get up and put it in pon.🙏🎄⛄
I ended up sticking them in water! I can’t get them to live any other way lol if you put them in pon, let me know if works 🥰🌿
April you make it look so easy and I make such a royal mess potting up🤣🤣. I just bought a philodendron bicolor which does not have many roots and I am rooting in water so I will attempt pon when it has been more established. Good video and you made me laugh.
Lol thank you 🌿I hope your philodendron thrives in pon, I never heard of that plant though. I’ll have to look into it 👀
My orbifolia is LOVING leca.
Same girl, same! 🥰🌿
I just added syngonium albo! Pon is very interesting I might have to try it out soon.
That one has been on my wishlist for so long lol I need to just get it already 😝🌱
Wow gurl, you got a good price on those plants! I am trying a new substrate with my propagation. If that works, then I will graduate to potting a mature plant. I recently added a Zebra plant, a Spider plant and Whale Fin Sansevieria. My daughter told me I had enough plants 🤣😂 there can never be enough!
I almost picked up a zebra plant that day, it was so beautiful and healthy. But I didn’t think it would transfer well…maybe in the future! I’ve always wanted a whale fin, but I want it to find me 😂🌿✨ and I haven’t counted my plants in a while, it’s getting crowded in here though!
Scindapsus Exotica
I knew I was a Hoya head when I realized I had 18 different types 😂
Omg I wish! I just have a thousand Hoya Obovata and Serpens helppp 😂
My moonlight transferred with no problem it didn’t drop one leaf. My pilea was a different story it died in a week.
Love your do or die Vibe great content your so entertaining I've been transferring my plants to lecca and pon so far no deaths but scared to transfer alocasia Polly and Bambino any tips?
Aw thank you girl 🥰🌿 alocasia can definitely be tricky, I only have a dragon scale and I pray for it everyday lmao
I have a few alocasia in pon and they love it! But I do not keep a reservoir for those. I let them dry out
I prefer the dirt to be dry it’s easier to remove.
Yes I realized that after 😂
Firstly, I am so glad to be seeing ads on your videos!!!! Im with you on the Gnat thing girl. I haven't bought any new plants in a few months now because i REALLY dont want to deal with cleaning roots LOL. Next time i buy a plant I will legit clean the dirt off in the parking lot of the nursery. Then rinse when i get home. Not kidding lol. I would love another scindapsis but i over watered it and the bish just never recovered. le sigh
Firstly, thank you!! 🥰 I thought I was crazy until you and another person said they clean off the roots in the parking lot 😂😂 that’s hilarious! I’m hoping I don’t kill these scindapsus’, pray for ya girrrl 😆
Okay I got to go back to the store every time you get something I got to go find it
Hahaha I hope you find them 🌿🥰
I remove the dirt in the parking lot of the store or nursery I bought it at I’m not bringing home their gnats.
Omg you get it lol
Thank you for a great video. Could you please provide a link for the black netted basket that you showed at 23:20? How big is it and where did you get it? I didn't see it in your Amazon storefront. Thanks for your help.
They’re the inserts from my self watering pots that are linked 🫶🏽
@@aprilbrooks So those inserts fit into your ceramic pot perfectly! Brilliant! Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. 💕
Great Video! Do you feel like your plants need more fertilizer than what’s included in Pon?
No probably not lol I’m just impatient and tell myself they’ll grow faster if I double up on fertilizer 😂
I accidentally used SuperThrive water on my Philo Brasil and it’s in Pon. I kept waiting for the insanity of yellow/fallen leaves, but she popped out 3 leaves and 2 growth points a couple of days later. 😮😂
How’s your scindapsus in pon doing? Doubting whether I want to transfer mine into pon.. let me know!
I honestly wouldn’t do it - I’ve had them in pon for years with minimal to no growth lol I’ve recently switched them to water and it seems to be doing fine for now 🤞🏽
Hey April! I have a question, I know that you use pon a lot when doing do you notice that tiny bugs?
I've been using it for sometime now with a few plants and I've noticed tiny bugs that I don't find anywhere else and never saw until I started using pon. Please girl help me I love how my plants grow in the pond but these micro bugs ain't it.
I have the same problem, I’ll let you know when I have a solution for us 🌿🥰
You have beautiful plants what kind of pond do you use and where you get it from
Thank you! I like Lechuza pon, you can get it on their website! 🥰🌿
Ok thank you
