Mister Black Crag that was some place to wildcamp with spectacular views & scenery 👌 drone footage has opened up angles to see things in a totally new way & the lakes gifts itself to these ..truly awesome..keep up the tremendous channel 👌
Beautiful video to see, now that our hiking days are few and far between as the nights start cutting in. Already planning hikes for Spring, so looking forward to seeing a few more Wainwright videos 😊
Camped in that very spot right at the start of your upload earlier this year. Amazing spot and in my top 3 wild camping locations. Loved seeing it from your point of view and great video as always. Thanks for posting and atb, Sean
@@stevenmarshall6645 get to Hard Knott itself then face toward the Scafells. Walk downhill toward them about 100 yards and you will see a corridor of grass between the rocks. Walk along it to the end. Lovely spot , I hope you find it.
Great watch, looked a stunning place to camp, sometimes the experience of just being out there far outweighs the photography and looks like you had a great time!
I always enjoy your content. Living nearby I know most of the walks you do. My partner and I often follow in some of your footsteps on the lower walks but its great to get out and about to enjoy the Lakes. By the way your T shirts and Hoodies are excellent.
Hi, been going through your channel and it’s great, I, the same as you are interested in photography just never get time, I have camped all my life and started wild camping to get some astrophotography done, work in progress. I just need to get out more . Thank you for the inspiration you are giving me and I will keep watching
Great to see people out and just enjoying a great location. Hard to believe that Jen didn't get a decent shot though, I reckon she's hiding one. 🤣 Her phone shots usually trump my carefully constructed camera shots 🤣
Wow! Did I enjoy this video :) ! I always appreciate a nice camping site like you guys found. Makes me want to explore that part of the world. Which is the closest village or town to the hike you guys took? Take care, happy trails and keep on making these great video's. Greetings from Finland 🤩
Enjoyed that Glenn..Something a bit different, seasonal wild camps could be a new thing.. a Winter one would make a great watch from the warmth of my iPad! 😂☃️
I've walked a lot in the Lake District but never seen views like those, possibly because I've never wild camped there! Thanks Glenn, shame about the photos!
That bit at the end about not, in your opinion, getting a decent enough photo. I'm often going out with a great idea and coming back with absolute garage. I stick a couple in Lr and mess with them for ages and think, if I'm buggering around this much is it worth saving? Great video again. Very much looking forward to the next installment 😉👌🏻
Return of the drone! Brilliant. Can I ask as a lover of waterfalls what is the name of the beck/Brook below your camp site? I'd be interested in checking that out at some point. Looks a quiet area we're you on Glaramara or stonethwaite because I'm sure that's langstrath beck?
I have been trying to work it out on the map - whereabouts were you camped please Glenn? And where was the pub where you had breakfast? We need the important details… food and beer! 🍻🙂
What an amazing place. Do you have a coordinate or route to get there. Since finding you channel I have started to prepare a trip to the lake district with my van, driving from Bulgaria tho I myself is from Denmark. Never knew England could look like this 😍
Should have ended the video with some macro shots of black pudding etc ! Seriously though get that logo t-shirt in the merch quick? Does it have BLACKCRAG on the back ?
How do you not get caught ? Because I thought it was illegal - I want to go to the lake district but I’m worried about getting a £2500 fine - am I likely to get caught
Lovely video. Where do you get drinking water from? I've just bought a Sawyer water filter but never used anything like that before. Is it safe to get water from the lakes?
Thank you 😊 The Sawyer filters are excellent and allow you to drink from any water source. I'd still opt for running water though. Like a stream or a spring.
We’re all being Private Investigators trying to work out where you were 😀 I was trying to work it out from the road, and thought maybe Wrynose Fell. Somewhere that you can look over to the Crinkles and Scafell 🔎🤔
Looks like you wild-camped on Hard Knott, I was there earlier this year with two of my walking buddies and we reckoned it would make a great wild-camp spot with great views all around and a chance of a good sunset and sunrise. Sadly it is still to be enjoyed as we only managed one wild-camp this year. Still there's next year to look forward to. BTW, looking forward to 29th October 🙂👍
I don’t see how this was “wild camping “ There wasn’t much to see apart from repetitive landscapes. No interaction from the other couple. No sitting around a fire together or even a basic stove. Tents sent up, goodnight and that was it until morning. Then all sat at a pub for breakfast. If you’re going hiking, who leaves everything to do with camping at home. I can’t see the point. That’s the fun of it. I skipped past the hiking ones. I’ve watched a few but they’re a bit samey samey. So when I found this one titled “wild camping” I was left depleted. Just constructive criticism.
We’ve not done ether of um as like you say they get busy , think I’d have to get up at a sparrow fart to miss the crowds , and like you say Benn for me to . We very nearly did it after going up high rigg (one for old farts) across the road . 🧇👍
These are the best videos ever of my favourite place in the world so thank you so much 😊
Great to see the drone out again, some stunning footage!
Thank you 😊
Really enjoyed this interlude between the Wainwrights and great to see the drone out again. Always enjoyable vids.
Ahhhh, thanks for making the video Glenn, it will stay as a fond reminder of a top evening out on the fells with the bestest of friends 🤗🤗
Let's do it again soon!
Mister Black Crag that was some place to wildcamp with spectacular views & scenery 👌 drone footage has opened up angles to see things in a totally new way & the lakes gifts itself to these ..truly awesome..keep up the tremendous channel 👌
Your videos and your voice sooth my soul. Thank you.
Another wonderful video to make me smile when I'm missing the Lakes ♥️
The most refreshing alternative. Thank you.
Your content is beautifully presented ❤ Thank you ! I can't wait to ve back to Lake District in Christmas 😊
J.
Thank you 😊
What a wonderful sight, thanks for all your hard work. It's been great seeing such amazing places like these.
Great drone footage combined with that music near the end, made the hair on the back of my neck stand up.
Thank you for what you do 🙏🙏
Beautiful video to see, now that our hiking days are few and far between as the nights start cutting in. Already planning hikes for Spring, so looking forward to seeing a few more Wainwright videos 😊
Nice to see a camping trip in such a lovely place. Even of the pictures didn't come out as expected the memories will always last.
Camped in that very spot right at the start of your upload earlier this year. Amazing spot and in my top 3 wild camping locations.

Hi bud can I ask where this spot is exactly please?

Absolutely gorgeous views. Can hardly see where you go next.
Really enjoyed that, just what wildcamps are for .... peace and Tranquility with good friends 👍
That area looked amazing, especially in the drone shots
Thanks!
Thank you so much, that's incredibly generous of you 🙏 I'll put that towards fuel and dog treats 😊
Stunning drone footage, what a beautiful location. Glad to see it’s not just my little troop using nom nom when it comes to brekkie 😂
Spectacular drone footage 😍
Another gem.
THAT Drone B-Roll 👌
A beautiful place to set up camp, I can smell the tent fabric and hear the zippers zipping. Freedom ! 🏕🌄😊

I think it's close to Watendlath 🕵
Lovely camp....not sure it's the best. But it's surely an epic area. Lovely visuals. 👍

I've walked a lot in the Lake District but never seen views like those, possibly because I've never wild camped there! Thanks Glenn, shame about the photos!
Just beautiful 😊
Lovely drone shots mate
The drone footage doesn’t look real!! Amazing.
Very nice drone work 👏

Great video again. Very much looking forward to the next installment 😉👌🏻
Thank you 😊 That is known in the business as 'polishing a turd'. A futile endeavour 😂
Hi, just watched this for about the third time! Great video…..was it above the Eskdale valley?
great vid mate, 👍
Nice wild camp, cheers. Heads up, the Dark Lord of Mordor is lurking behind your computer...
Haha....always watching!
So so beautiful!!! I love the little knobbly fells like that.
But the real question is, what tune is playing around 19 minutes?
It's called 'Mountain Air' by Cody Francis 😊
Briliant....
Great video Glenn as always love the miniature figure of Sauron behind your computer what do you think of the new series The Rings of Power
Thank you 😊 I'm waiting for a few seasons to binge it. I can't do this waiting a whole week between episodes business!
Those shots in the sky are amazing. What drone did you use to get these :))))
Wow it looks amazing, im heading up to the lakes for a little wild camp next weekend, where about did you park?

Thanks mate 😊 I'll tell you offline
Just love seeing those hills/mountains, what video editing software do you use..another great video..👍🏻
Thank you 😊 I use Premiere Pro for now 😵
Thank you. 😊.
Bloody hell, what a place! Lord of the Rings much
Amazing video, thank you for sharing with us. What drone do you use?
Never mind. Just found it on your kit list, thanks again
I have been trying to work it out on the map - whereabouts were you camped please Glenn?
And where was the pub where you had breakfast? We need the important details… food and beer! 🍻🙂
Thanks mate.... I'll tell you in a couple of weeks on the Black Mass 😊
What an amazing place. Do you have a coordinate or route to get there. Since finding you channel I have started to prepare a trip to the lake district with my van, driving from Bulgaria tho I myself is from Denmark. Never knew England could look like this 😍
What a great video, please tell me where this camping spot is and where you parked I would love to take my son there
Where exactly have you camped? I’m going to the lake next week and looking for some wild camping specific spots
Should have ended the video with some macro shots of black pudding etc ! Seriously though get that logo t-shirt in the merch quick? Does it have BLACKCRAG on the back ?
Could you please let me know what mic you use, going to wasdale on Thursday, first time going to do my first vlog, cheers mate.
Cracking marra 👌
Do u all take Ur tripod up into the mountains or leave that at home.
Not looking for the location but where about was you pitched looks amazing?
How do you not get caught ? Because I thought it was illegal - I want to go to the lake district but I’m worried about getting a £2500 fine - am I likely to get caught
Hi, can I ask for the post code for the parking lot?
Lovely video. Where do you get drinking water from? I've just bought a Sawyer water filter but never used anything like that before. Is it safe to get water from the lakes?

@@BlackCrag Thank you!
I seams you got group i on your tail ! It great area of the lakes. Easy way up as well I believe
Not sure I understand your meaning 🤔
We’re all being Private Investigators trying to work out where you were 😀
I was trying to work it out from the road, and thought maybe Wrynose Fell. Somewhere that you can look over to the Crinkles and Scafell 🔎🤔
Anyone able to give me any clues on where I might find this area 👀
What is the music in the opening segment?

Not even close - no cigar.
What's this location please
How do you get this spot? 🧐🧐🧐
Noticed how you post a video but don’t like to share a location, even if the car park at the start.
who was that guy hahaha

That’s exactly what wild camping is, hiking up to a spot and setting up late and up early to take it down
sitting around the fire goes against all the principles of wild camping
Lovley
