Thanks so much for watching! This was an enjoyable camp though I had a number of technical challenges shooting this. I have just stumbled across your channel. I was wondering why I was feeling so in tune with the video, and then you told yours and Ryan’s story. It then made sense!! You made a spaniel owning,55 year old, former Royal Marine, who has lived a similar life to Ryan, shed a tear ( or two), seeing what a wonderful partner he had found in you. Make the very most of your new life in Cumbria and keep wringing life’s neck. There’s a wonderful world that’s still out there 👌🏻👌🏻 Wonderful filming 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Thank you M'lady for a startingly lovely video of the awesome beauty and grandeur of nature. It is, what I believe how "The Dawn of Time" might have appeared. Cheers.😊
Hello Chloe🤗first congratulations to Ryan for his service to his country, I am a US Army veteran so I know the commitment and the loneliness that a family goes through. What a beautiful video Chloe, I always look forward to your videos because of the calming effect they have, and I feel it’s better to hike in cold weather over hot weather, it is just brutal hiking in 90plus degrees. Thank you for sharing your journey and take care Chloe💐
Thank you John! Yes, Ryan is the same, he thrives in winter, though I do prefer summer I have to say 😄 90 degrees would be very hot for here, though during the summer I typically go out at 5am so that I can walk Cam while it's cooler. I do love that peaceful time in summer.
@@FablesandFells Chloe here in Southern California even in the higher elevations it can get brutal during summer, but it will cool down drastically at night and as for hiking during cold weather, at least you can dress accordingly. I wish I could take my dog but he’s considered small but he’s a good sized Parson Russell Terrier. I live near the foothills and we have coyotes, bobcats, rattlesnakes and a few mountain lions in the Santa Ana Mountain range. But I think I could get use to hiking in the British Isles, such beauty and history😉

I enjoy your videos. I really love Cam because my first dog as a child was a Springer Spaniel called Rex. Watching these videos reminds me of him and our adventures as a child.
Your videos have this magical ability to transport us to the serene beauty of nature, and this one was no exception. The views of Ullswater and the surrounding mountains were simply breathtaking, your calm and soothing narration made the experience even more immersive - it felt like I was right there beside you, taking in every moment.
Lovely vid. Good luck on leaving the military. The stability of civvy life is fabulous. No more march-outs! No more magnolia (unless you choose it yourself to be ironic). The veteran family will always be there as well if ever you need it. Enjoy the next chapter.

Fabulous to here you will be seeing more of your fella… Interested to learn more about your tent options/makes that survive UK weather conditions up them hills.. please
So I have a 3 season tent and I just use it sensibly in Winter. If I was looking to camp in heavy, continuous snowfall or more extreme wind conditions, then that's when I'd look at 4 season. The lightweight and compact size of the 3 season does the job for me. I prefer to avoid strong winds so I always check the specific mountain forecast as well as pitching with some natural wind barrier where possible. You could look at brands like Terra Nova, Hilleberg.
Thank you for sharing this amazing moments of your life. It’s always a pleasure watching your videos and your voice tonality is very calming asmr like I’m loving it 🥰 Best wishes🤗

Fabulous to here you will be seeing more of your fella…
Interested to learn more about your tent options/makes that survive UK weather conditions up them hills..
Fantastic photography as usual with your videos. It is great being out on the fells on these sunny winter days but today back to storms!!
Yes this week's forecast isn't looking ideal 😅 Hope you've managed to get out on the grit during the recent cold, dry spell.
Thank you for sharing this amazing moments of your life.
It’s always a pleasure watching your videos and your voice tonality is very calming asmr like I’m loving it 🥰
Best wishes🤗
Thanks Marian, so happy to hear you find them calming 😊
Stunning images, beautifuly crafted content - as usual. It’s always such a treat to be able to watch your videos. I am an avid wild camping lover myself - have just returned from a cycling holiday in Sicily (24 C/sun/oranges/sea)
I have visited England and Scotland a lot. Time to see your part of the world.
Take care☺️
Thanks so much Jace 😊 Ahh that sounds so lovely. We've had back to back storms here, I could just do with some sun, sea and fresh oranges 😄
Hi Chloe, It’s been a while, unless I’ve missed some of your videos. Your story telling is fantastic and the mixture of stunning scenery moody sky’s, all add to the amazing content of your videos. I’ve said it before, I just listen and I drift off to the Lakes, my favourite area is the Langdale Valley, I always try to get to the Old Dungeon Ghyll Pub for a pint and to sit by the fire. More videos please . Thanks Nigel.
Thanks Nigel! It has been a while, I haven't posted since Oct as things just get super busy on the lead up to Christmas. I plan to post more regularly going forward. The Langdales is stunning, I just love that skyline profile.
Beautiful location and photography again.. Really enjoy your videos.. Hope there’s more in the new year to come 😊
Thank you, hope to post more regularly this year!
Thank you for a wonderful video. Such a beautiful nature. Ron/Sweden

Beautifully shot and edited. You always get the soundtrack right. I'm still listening to Neptube by Bonnie Grace.
Thank you.
Thank you, I'm going to do some playlists soon 🎶
Hi just been watching your videos over the weekend and have enjoyed your adventures. Wish I had the courage you have to go solo on some walks. Can't wait for your next one.
Ah thanks Jill. There's lots of walking groups around, hopefully you can get out, needn't be solo if you're not that.
Great location, we often stay in Glenridding and looks like that walk is very near there.
May need to plan finding that walk, (with our two Cocker Spaniels) for our next visit.
Good to hear the change for you both to look forward to.
Yes, Glenridding is a great base. Lots of good options. I imagine you've done Helvellyn from there?
@@FablesandFells Yes, did it Sept 2022 and was very lucky with weather. Great memories. Heading back to Glenridding again in March this year! 🙂
Great video! Thanks from Wisconsin 🌻🐾

Hello, I'm glad you find them calming. I would love to post more regularly though this is not my main 'job' (what pays the bills) so I can only spend a certain amount of time making them. I will try to post at least one a month and maybe I'll be able to increase that at some point 😊 Thanks for watching 🇮🇳
