Great video. That 4 stroke does sound great. Mine should be in any day now hopefully but my wing won't be here till the end of February or first part of March. Getting the same frame and motor you have and a Colibri trike. Wing will be the new Apco F5. Can't wait to finish up training and get flying.
It's not a lot when you consider I burn 8 liters an hour in my Factory R with my wing loading and altitude. For me it's half of the fuel I typically burn.
my moster is at 500hrs and getting really loose. I think this past weekend may have been the last 100hr service I do on her. This engine will probably end up replacing it.
The EOS Quattro supposedly has a 500 hour rebuild schedule with just oil changes, valve checks, oil changes, air filter change, spark plug, etc. to do.
Thanks for taking the time to make these videos and sharing your findings with us! How many hours on your engine now? Any issues? Ive been looking at this engine since its early days a few years ago, to replace a moster 185. I love the bailey 4 strokes but just not enough power, the Quattro seems a beast.
So far I really like it. Mine has about 20 hours on it. The support from EOS with questions about jetting for my altitude and other technical questions has been amazing. That being said, it ran and flew just fine with the original jet. I just wanted a little more rpm and power. I did have one motor out due to a resistor that came un-soldered from a wire, but I attribute that to me unnecessarily taking things apart to check it out 😂. With EOS and Boise Paramotors help we found the problem in a matter of minutes and I soldered it back together! Super simple motor! The most technical part is probably the dual overhead cam, which other than occasionally needing to adjust the valves (when I’ve checked mine so far at the recommended intervals they were spot on to specs) I’ve just changed the oil twice. Ohhh, and you’ll put a hose on the breather to route any oil vapor or condensation away from the propeller. I just vented mine at the bottom of one of the frame legs.
2.0 hours on mine thus far. I'm Eagerly working to the 3 hour and 10 break in. Reason--fresh oil, re-jetting the carburetor and confidence in it. I've got pull start only and working on the best start sequence/procedure. I know you are at a much higher MSL than my sea level, but I'm curious what jet you ended up using? What was the factory jet? Digging the flight attendant tone on your videos.🙂 7:35
Thanks for the kind comments. I'm currently using a 125 jet stepping down gradually from the 135. I ran it at 2,200 feet with the 125 and it obviously made more power- ran awesome!. I'm going to keep stepping down gradually until my plug starts to loose color, but so far I'm good. I know there is one person running a 118 at sea level, but I'd suggest having someone check your exhaust temp while you run it up using a heat gun, or install an exhaust sensor. I'm loving the engine! The flight attendant sound has been fun! LOL
@ thanks for making these videos Trent I’m definitely tired of buying different motors and wings. I’ve been thinking about a 4-stroke for sometime The EOS Quattro definitely top on my list now.

That sounds awesome! You will love it!
Awesome Trent! I got to test mine on Monday! Love it so far!
So awesome! Look forward to meeting soon!
I'm excited about my EOS Quarto. Soon it's time.
You will love it!

EOS Quatro and a full tank of gas and wearing the thing while resetting after failed launch. 💪💪
LOL! It's actually not as bad as it seems. The weight distributes well with it on my back.
425 liters per hour is quite a lot

I mean the way it's spelled in the description, without the decimal point, it's four hundred twenty-five liters :)

Awesome, thanks bud!@@trentwhitney8346
Did you build the tow hook platform yourself?
Yes! Super easy. I just modified a rack I bought from Harbor Freight.
Hi Trent,
Are these 4 stroke motors popular, it seems not many UA-cam people use them?
This is a new motor. I think I’m the only one that has really posted anything on UA-cam about it.
You peaked my attention. What do you think about the fourth stroke?
I actually really like it! My other paramotor has a Moster Factory R and I regularly switch back and forth between the two.
So you’re saying a little over 1 gallon of fuel to fly 70 miles ? Wow…! Incredible
@@ChrisJewell7333 yes! It sips fuel.

@ no problem!
What style ram mount is that?
I used a ball mount with the ball mount arm. It’s the smaller ram mount for iPhone. I hope that helps.
I expected better economy from a 4 stroke. For me thats disappointing. I can comfortably get 4L /h off by AC Nitro.
