Not sure I agree with new blood being part of that three, I really only know ultrakill from them, but I 100% agree with annapurna and devolver (Outer Wilds my beloved, if you haven't played it please do), also I don't think bigmode has enough games in their catalogue to count it. Also I love how you don't have a section for silksong, but it creeps in anyways.
cool video, but now I'm feeling somewhat empty after watching and checking to make sure I had wishlisted Revenant Hill. (game is effectively canceled because of severe health problems) I wanted to see the team move past their last tragedy and make something new that wasn't shackled to all that, but the world is cruel and doesn't operate based on reason.
Apparently Sony is saying they're in the final 1/3rd of the PS5 life cycle -- that is insanity if you ask me and a good way to push people away from consoles completely. I haven't heard good things about Microsoft and as much as Nintendo makes me angry with some things, they are doing the smartest thing possible and letting the Switch life cycle go as long as possible. Can you imagine what could have been accomplished in each generation if they didn't need to push out the newest & fastest whatever bit system?! I'll point out two examples -- AM2R; even thought it's not a "SNES" or GBA game -- it could have been. And -- Indie games on the Sega Genesis.... Holy shit is all I can say. In my opinion, these Retro style Indies, regardless of genre, are what we should be supporting -- Yes, Eiyuden Chronicles falls into that category. Resident Evil 4 is probably my favorite game of all time and while I won't deny I am absolutely going to buy the Gold edition (assuming that's the final version) because it enhanced what nobody thought could be made any better. I will say that Sword of Seas looks incredible -- I have never understood why Journey was so revered until I picked it up for my PS3. I don't even have the words for that game but I have a feeling that the Devs for that game may have taken a trip into "The Gateway Experience" -- Those who know what that is will know what I'm talking about!😆 For the rest, I don't really need or want all these remakes -- Especially Final Fantasy VII. Final Fantasy VI & Chrono Trigger were probably the last two Square games made I have any nostalgia for and even thought I had a good number of PS1 & PS2 RPGs -- I didn't have time to play them Having said that, in the last 3 or so years I have been diving back into all of those; Suikoden (fantastic but I haven't played 2 yet but I will), Star Ocean 2, Persona (technically was the 2nd I found out after all my research) which are all fantastic games! I haven't even gotten back to Final Fantasy VII-IX yet! For me, the two that are at the top of my list so far are Wild Arms 1 & 2 and Vandal Hearts 1 & 2 -- although I cheated because on the second game I used the "turns fixed" patch. From everything I've read and seen, Suikoden 2 will blow all of these away and if that's the case all I can say is I can see why Konami is trying to cash back in on the massive hype train called Eiyuden Chronicles; Hundred Heroes....but damn, they had a good thing once upon a time and let it slip away.
Ty for giving Cat Quest a tiny bit of spotlight lol. The games are pretty good.
As someone who loves Journey, Abzu and Pathless, I am so excited for Sword of the Sea!

Some real gems in here! Although I've been following Antonblast and I doubt it's coming out this year, it just means they're taking their time.
