So I’m seriously the worst cook ever. So when tonight my husband said he liked and ate the entire burger and fries, I felt like I just accomplished a major feat! So thank you for making this video. You are truly helping people like me that just want to feed their families good tasty food.

James, great video. BTW you could have just switched it to broil for the last 30-60 seconds to melt the cheese instead of using the toothpicks. The cheese will not fly off when using that function.

American cheese melts so quickly. I just turn off the speedi, place the cheese on the burger close the top on the machine without turning it back on. The machine is warm enough for the cheese to melt takes about 1 minute this also allows your meat to rest. You still have to watch the cheese because if you let it sit to long the cheese can still melt off.

I ended up using tater tots instead of fries! It was fantastic! I am new to the Ninja Speedi, and this is already one of our favorite recipes! Thank you!

Thank you for doing this video on a hamburger with the french fries, because I have been trying to think of how you would do them together in the Ninja Speedi, and you solved that problem perfectly! BTW: You need to go to work for the Ninja Speedi - they can use you to demonstrate all the different ways to use the Speedi. God bless!

I had the same problem with the cheese flying off. I fixed it by putting a thin slice of butter on buns and then putting the cheese on the buns, making sure the cheese was pressed into the butter. No cheese flying off and toasted buns. Problem fixed!

@@CookinWithJames I do have one question though...I made two patties as you did, but just cooking for myself, I only ate one, wrapped the second one in foil, and put it in the fridge...I would like to have it with dinner tonight with some baby carrots and halved brussels sprouts...how do you recommend that I reheat the burger patty?...and should I just follow the Speedi guide for the carrots and sprouts, or do you have a method that you have perfected...time, temp, crisper tray or not, and mode, please

Thanks for the videos! I think I seen most of them but I need to know how long your machine takes to preheat. I'm thinking of sending mine back because it takes forever to preheat. I made stew and the preheat took so long the meat was boiled well done before it actually went to selected mode. I followed along with the video step by step.

Did you spray (lightly) any oil on the fries? From my previous experience with air-frying fries, they dry out, and I always resort to spraying a little bit of peanut oil on them. I am getting my Speedi tomorrow, but I was wondering if it's needed with this machine?

I picked up a AcuRite Digital Meat Thermometer like 10-15 years ago at walmart for $10-20. Its been through hell and back but still works perfectly. Only had to replace the battery once and its display update speed is nearly instant..
I personally won't eat any meat at less then 200° internal temp. Its so quick and simple that i do not understand why so many people can't be bothered with this step in the cooking process. It can literally save your life.
