Today brings another male dermal fillers video! And this time I'm trying to show how much product goes into these videos and the make-overs, because I get lots of comments asking how many mls of product were used!

My name is Dr Sarah Tonks, and I'm an aesthetic physician based in Knightsbridge, London. I have degrees in both medicine and dentistry, and diplomas in cosmetic science and dermatology (I've got a bit of an education addiction🤓) and have been practicing medical aesthetics for over 10 years. I do not see 16 mils, of differents. Remember it's the untrained eye that we want to notice. I'm not paying 5 - 10k so that the occasional facial professional I pass on sidewalk will be impressed.

So interesting and natural looking. It makes you think that you’ll never really know who’s had fillers and who hasn’t (especially among celebrities) as fillers done properly can almost never be clocked by us laymen.

Things have changed a lot in the last few years! Maybe 1 in 20 of our patients would be men but nowadays it's more like 1 in 6!

Jad Marz depends on what you have done! Something like this would be about £5500.
JP Actual I can’t remember really but it was probably Juvederm Voluma and Radiesse. The injection plane varies according to which area is being injected!

He went from construction worker to finance manager. Please, don’t take this as offense. It’s a compliment. Radiasse is amazing. Jawline takes up so much filler and a mans face must need so much. Bone structure to me is so important. My husband has the most amazing bone structure I’ve ever seen. People always say he looks like Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt. This has to cost about 5k.
I know I’m all over the place, but it’s such amazing work with analyzation that I had to express all my thoughts. 🤣

I used to be a demo patient for botox and dermal fillers so I'm always fascinated watching it performed. Great video!

Is there a reason why you didn't do the crease on his nose, between his eyes? I have a similar problem which kind of makes me look a little Indian, especially coupled with my hair. Yet I'm 100% South African from German/Albanian decent.
Annill Timothy I think at that point I had literally run out of steam. There are a few things I would tweak if he came back again. All the procedures in these videos are filmed in a day to make it work, I might ask him to come back at some point!

Before I watched I thought "oh this seems like a good idea!" Then I saw his his face get stabbed a bunch of times and thought "nevermind, I'm good"
Fillers are giving me my life back. I have had 12 vials. 4 every month since December. I want 4 more. I was feeling guilty like an addict. Now I feel ok.
I had facial tissue waisting from Lupus in my fat tissues. I had 10 vials of sculptra over 6 years. It only stopped me from looking too sick. It did not maje me like I was before.
I got a huge break. 4 for the price of one at BMC dermatology rheumatology dept.
It took 7 just to build my cheeks. The others were in the chin and and lower cheeks. Used juvederm xc and velor. I have not even done my temples yet.
I do not feel so bad now.
You lucky lucky girl! My face is wasting away for no reason at all. And I just can’t afford even a single damn vial leave alone 12. So I can just dream of this. Lol

Noticed the most difference in the smile! But I really wish you showed a side profile for the after. You went on about his middle cheeks being flat lol.

#1 18ml of fillers is super expensive so would be hard to maintain. Right cheek seems high.

That was amazing! You just made him about 20% better looking. Quick q. Do you think you can make a 40 yr old look 25 by putting back lost volume in exactly the right places? Am kinda thinking if most of the ageing (at that point) is due volume loss then restore the volume = turn back the clock. Asking for a friend ;-)
Miss La probably not because there are other issues which we don’t replace just with filler like skin textural changes and skin colour changes which have to be treated with things like regenerative procedures, laser etc plus you can’t replace ALL the volume, it’s just impossible. I’d say you could go to maybe 10 years if you did literally everything but there’s a larger step between 25 and 40 than there is between 40 and 55 if you know what I mean.
Absolutely! The youth thing is a precious thing indeed. No wonder Mother Gothel kept Rapunzel in the tower! 10 years is good though!

I'm just figuring, if there isn't much bony change between 18-40, shouldn't volume replacement and textural treatment (lasers,peels, etc) be totally restorative? If should be even easier if the person provides a picture of herself/himself at 18 so one would know exactly where to replace the volume and how much.

Wow, the "after" picture shows that he looks like himself, only somehow better! That is the sign of a good application of these products. I hate it when it is done in such a way that the person looks odd, like they are a twin but with some features slightly out of place, it never looks like the original person! This example here is the way it should always be done! How old is the model, I wonder?

Why am I just now discovering your channel? This was incredible!
It's quite interesting the different measurements people request. Mostly I think it's related to costs. Here in South Africa for instance most clinic's charge per unit of filler or botox used, however there are a few where they charge per area treated, as I have experienced with Dr Paul J. Skoll, who I have been in contact with recently.
I can see that there must be benefits and downsides to both. But heck, I think the injector is more important than the amount and filler. Lol! I have been freaked out ever since you mentioned blindness, because I definitely need to get my nose and tear troughs a.k.a cheeks done! Soon!

Is it a good idea to use 4, 8, 12, or 16 millimeters of filler? What type of filler are you using? How long do the filler you are using last?
Could you recommend any cosmetic injectors in the U.S.? These videos are nothing short of amazing! I'm so impressed with your eye. I've seen a lot of before and after photos but I don't know if I've seen the midface brought forward like this. I didn't realize you could make this kind of improvements to someone's maxilla area, do other injectors do this? Also, very impressed with results from chin augmentation.

After my 18 month experiment with dermal fillers provided by a clinic reputed to be one of the top 10 in the country I’ve fallen out of love with the procedure. The poor cost effectiveness, and very variable results have led me to lose faith in it.
You do good work, but you are also interesting and observant! Always like learning from you! I will have to get a consultation sometime!

Quick question ...could this gentleman use some filler in the temple area to raise the eyebrow to lesson the puffiness over his left eye?
It was a subtle change and it took 18ml... I'm going to need 500ml to fix my effing face lol

The only difference is the lighting. The "after" is intentionally brighter, causing more light to reflect off his face and making it appear smoother and younger.

He looks good but...16ml is a hell of a lot of filler. MRI scans now show the filler migrates so we loose the desired look yet stays for a many more years than initially thought in in surrounding areas. I can't imagine someone having 16ml of filler every year or however often. And then in 20 years time their Face Will be deformed and look worse. I absolutely disagree with this huge amount of filler. And if someone needs that much, then it is better to have a mini face lift.

18ml gets used up super quickly and the difference in the after photo is so subtle (which is a good thing). Amazing! You are super skilful. I'd love to come in for a consultation but don't have that kind of budget. What's the minimum (on average) I'd need to spend to get a decent result?
Looks like a better version of an already good looking fella! Clever make up would cut down on the fillers tho with a bit of contouring

I would be very disappointed if I spent 5500 and have such little results. Crows feet look worse... I like the chin area. But don't understand all the amazement in the comments... there is just not much difference. This guy looked already really good before. Now he has got more chin and cheeks. Great.

I honestly thought WTF he thought he needed fillers until you showed the side profile; that's where you could see the sunken cheeks and the recessed chin. Also, his jawline is not particularly well defined in profile. I wish you could have shown the "after" profile as well, since I thought he looked just fine in the "before."
