    Yesterday I woke up swearing I’d never do anything to my face. Today I’m going to sleep convinced only Dr. Sarah can be trusted to mess with my face! 😂 loving this channel!

    She looks better with a rested face in the "after" photo, but I think her smiling face was much better in the "before". I guess you can't have the best of two worlds or maybe if she didn't want such full lips...but your work is art

    Your patient was lovely before but the little improvements you have made really softened her face and enhanced her natural beauty. Well done!

      Roshnee C you are welcome! We have two coming up in the next couple of weeks who have had very minor things done and then “season three” is very exciting in terms of interesting faces 🙊🙊

    You're an artist with that needle. If you ever emigrate to Australia there'd be a mile long wait list. Got a blank look from my practitioner when I mentioned the Fibonacci golden ratio.

    I always find it amazing that peoples eyes look better/fresher or cat shaped after you treat their face. You can see it with this lady. What do you think did this? Was it the botox in the orbital or the filler in the orbital? Thank you!

    I didnt know that you even could inject at the base of the nose. I have a tiny bit of asymetry in that area. I want fillers now! 🌺

    Hello again from Texas. I’ve heard about the stiff upper lip thing, but omg how did she not even flinch? I made a real commotion (complete with pulling away from the screen) just watching. She’s beautiful both ways. So young too. Ouch and wow at the same time from the big baby overseas. 😘

    • @DrSarahTonks
      @DrSarahTonks  6 років тому

      Judy Lyerla it doesn’t hurt that much. If you’ve ever had your upper lip threaded for hair removal, it’s pretty similar to that. Depends on the size of the needle used though, some people use an excessively big needle for reasons I haven’t fathomed 🤷🏼‍♀️

    I find the asymmetry of the eyebrow interesting in the after picture. Is this a side effect of the cheek augmentation?
    Certainly not a criticism as she is obviously beautiful & I personally don’t mind a little asymmetry- but my question is, would you or could you do something to ‘correct’ it?

    • @DrSarahTonks
      @DrSarahTonks  6 років тому +2

      Gem McCarthy great question! I am honestly not sure if this was just the angle of the after picture we took- we do struggle with that sometimes. If it looked like that in real life then yes it’s easy to correct, you just put a bit more Botox on the side which is higher and it will drop the brow down!

    Hi Sarah! Love this video, as always! How much filler typically is required for the base of the nose injection ?

    • @DrSarahTonks
      @DrSarahTonks  6 років тому +3

      Hayley Gilmour depends but usually 0.1-0.3ml at a time! But if you then go further underneath the nose you can easily put another 0.2ml there in some patients

    I love your work Sarah... but this is one patient that looked a lot better before. Strange to me that you don't think so. She looks a lot more wide-eyed and less 'done'

    • @DrSarahTonks
      @DrSarahTonks  6 років тому +11

      Sally Smith 😱😱😱 you can’t please all the people all of the time!! I tell you something though, she has a difficult face to do. Easy way to tell if someone is going to be easy or hard- you get them to smile. If when they smile they look more attractive, then they are easy to do. If they look the same, or even worse when they smile, then you’ve got a job on your hands. Very difficult. I agree with you about the eyes though. I put it up still because not everybody is easy, and not everybody gets a clear WOW, so this seems a more balanced way of looking at injectables. IMO though I prefer the cheeks and chin in the after. I’m on the fence about the lips, that was a patient request and they are really full naturally.

      It’s interesting as I think personally that she looks younger after the filler etc as her face is rounder and lifted however I find her ‘older’ original face really pretty. As long as she’s happy though

    • @DrSarahTonks
      @DrSarahTonks  6 років тому +3

      her eyes definitely look bigger in the first photo - but I don't see how thats the filler, we all look different day to day, and her eyebrows are not looking to me like they are in a different position. I think she does look even better@@DrSarahTonks

    Hello, I found your channel a few days ago and have been soaking up all the education you have offered. I have been strongly considering lip injections (augmentation). You have said to let you know if any of your viewers were considering this, so I'm interested in any advice you can give before going through with it. Thanks.

    • @DrSarahTonks
      @DrSarahTonks  6 років тому +1

      Jaclyn Duran just know what you want and find someone who can do it like that for you! Some people want very natural results, undetectable, other people want something a lot filler- so you have to pick the right doctor for you!

    Isn’t it dangerous to fill in the area at the base of the nose. I was always told there is a vessel in that area that you really don’t want to hit.
