  • On my UA-cam Pilates Channel I teach movement for a healthy mind AND body because I want you to feel good from the inside out. As a woman who grew up in the competitive world of dance, performance and movement I know how bad it is for your mental health to be constantly trying to change how you look, and how negative comments from people around you can really affect your state of mind, your confidence, happiness and wellbeing. The world can be unkind, you can get compared to someone else and end up having really negative thoughts about yourself. All of which is so damaging. My mission is to create a safe, positive space where people can come to exercise for their health, improve their fitness and at the same time not feel they have to achieve what is often an unattainable body type or perfectly execute an exercise that is beyond their ability. We are all different and I think we should celebrate that. Healthy looks good on everybody. If you are always focusing on a body part that you are trying to change, or want to lose weight in a certain area then I want to encourage you to take a step back and reset. Pilates is about your wellbeing, your health and finding that mind /body connection- it's not about a six pack or the perfect set of glutes, they really won't make you happy. We are all perfectly imperfect. In reality no one who cares about you will be concerned about your body shape, what they will care about is how happy you are, how much they enjoy your company and how they love spending time with you. And all of that comes from a positive mindset. So I say, enjoy movement for movements sake, move everyday and your mind and body will thank you for it.     Rachel's workouts are amazing. There's something for everyone, every day. Whether you're feeling lively or feeling challenged, there's a piece of work for you. Ten minutes standing ❤ chair workouts ❤️ mat workouts ❤️ intermediate workouts ❤️
    Just give one a try, these workouts got me through covid and out the other side 💪🏻

    Every bit of movement does help. On the days when "I just don't feel like it", your 10 minute sessions have definitely switched my mindset 🙂.

    You’re absolutely right! When you don’t feel like doing a workout do it anyways. I wish I didn’t workout today says no one ever!!

    Rachel’s workouts are amazing for me and she is a real blessing for my motivation to keep moving every day! I am recovering from a surgery in my neck area and I have been doing a lot of Rachel’s stretching, feel good and standing ballet inspired videos and they are giving me the positive physical and emotional energy to get through the healing process !
