Dr Berg you may want to take a look at Dr Stephanie Seneff , she does speak about lisosomes and trash build up because the detox pathways- methylation, sulfation, fructose metabolism messed up, gluthatione depletion... among others issues...all because of glyfhosate.
Hi Eric. When I was in my 50's I noticed I was becoming forgetful. Had Sessions and lots of them and I am now 83 and don't have problems remembering. Recalled very interesting experiences: reasons for not wanting to remember. And of course there are major reasons [ forced on] the ''person'' stops remembering. It is a very extensive and complicated topic.

Can I be honest? I am a nurse and someone who considers myself fairly knowledgeable when it comes to medical conditions physiology etc , but Dr. Berg blows everything I thot I knew out of the water. He is so accurate with his data that it makes complete sense from a scientific standpoint. Please continue your work because you really are making a difference, I feel like most doctors try to discourage people from supplements (through the lack of fda regulation as a scare tactic) because if the patient drastically improves they in essence lose their job. So they try to keep patients just sick enough by prescribing the same medications: (atorvastatin, metformin, eliquis, etc) that are in most cases more detrimental side effects wise than the conditions they "help". Natural is the way to go thank you Dr.Berg for doing the research and not just catering to pharmaceutical companies.
Yes Chelsea, Your gut is telling you exactly what your head and heart, haven't quite figured out yet! You are being awakened and being made aware. Welcome!!
Lost my dad at 69 from this disease. Awful way to go. I lift weights, eat meat and stay away From processed foods, sugar, carbs. I'm not going out that way. Miss you dad.
I thought that the research came up previously that proves that the alzheimers is due to the condition of teeth/cavity in the tooth. I’m too lazy to find the source of the research again but i hope Dr. Berg has looked into it as well.
@@dnnnuii tooth decay does have an effect. It adds to increased levels of toxicity within the body; adding to overall inflammation. It isn't the single factor; one of several. Typically, tooth decay is amplified by high sugar diet. So, reducing (glucose) sugar and carbs would reduce tooth decay. Kind of why Dr Berg mentions eight (8) different methods to combat Alzheimer's.
Unfortunately, nursing homes for people with Alzheimer's - at least in my country (in Scandinavia) - tend to feed the patients insane amounts of sugar and carbs every day. Sugary juices instead of water or tea, bread and jam three times a day, cookies between meals and a lot of sweet baked goods every day. If Doctor Berg is right, the nursing homes actually contribute to making them worse.
@@seabreeze4559 Chemtrails and with them the heavy metals sprayed on us on a daily basis (barium, strontium, nano-sized aluminium penetrating the blood-brain barrier) are much more dangerous. The amounts of aluminium found in our rain water are ridiculously high.

We took my mother in-law to a geriatric doc hoping for some help as she was loosing her memory quickly. Doc was concerned that she had lost some weight (after living with us and eating better). Doc told her she could eat ice cream 3 times a day if she wanted because it would be better for her to have the weight on.🤷♀️ I had just watched doctor Berg’s sugar and the brain video. My confidence in doctors dropped to a new low.
My mum had diabetes and dementia , she wanted to get up and do things but was falling at times so we told her to sit down but we're told she needed exercise but if she stood up she felt she had to sit down , she wasn't eating much so was told to stop her Metformin which may be causing low blood pressure , she took to her bed and slept and woke up around midnight , watched TV till about 5 then carers were in at 9 to change her but she was in her sleep and wasn't happy getting woke up (they wouldn't come a few hours later), I never felt I was getting anywhere but thought she would last a bit longer , sadly it got to where she was sleeping most of the time and was never awake to take any pills , I felt I failed her ,
I truly appreciate your advice. I have been diagnosed with Alzheimer. I'm only 44 year old. I was devastated with this news. It's felt like I was in a nightmare that I couldn't wake up. Thank you for easing my mind a little. I will apply what you have talked about to me daily regiment.

It's not real don't listen to them quit any meds they put you on and eat a healthy diet with vegetables and some types of fish. Quit any drugs if they're making you forget stuff. Alzeimers and none of the names of these diseases are real their caused by taking pills most the time. Also quit sugar use immediately sugar can create dementia and alzheimers and plaques the brain
My cat blew the whistle away by sharing these notes from dr berg: Early symptoms of Alzheimer’s: • Difficulty remembering recent events • Difficulty finding words • Problems with spatial location • Loss of smell • Mood swings What we know about Alzheimer’s: • The brain shrinks, starting with the hippocampus • People are getting it at a younger age (as early as their 20s) • There is a correlation between hyperinsulinemia and Alzheimer’s • Treating amyloid plaque hasn’t produced results • There is a risk factor involving APOE There is an alternative theory that Alzheimer’s is a lysosome storage problem. The lysosome is a part of the cell that helps clean up damaged proteins and recycles them into new building blocks. The theory is that this part of the cell is broken. The process of the lysosome cleaning up damaged protein and recycling it is called autophagy. The most potent trigger of autophagy is fasting, and a lot of research demonstrates that fasting can potentially improve Alzheimer’s. Natural ways to enhance the lysosome function and autophagy: 1. Reduce glucose (get on the keto diet) 2. Do intermittent fasting (OMAD) and periodic prolonged fasting (a 48-hour fast once a week) 3. Try herbal remedies (curcumin, pine bark, thunder god vine, and green tea) 4. Include omega-3 fatty acids (DHA) in your diet 5. Increase SCFA (get into ketosis) 6. Exercise regularly 7. Get plenty of sleep 8. Consume cruciferous vegetables 7. Include extra virgin olive oil in your diet 8. Do heat and cold therapy Thank you Dr Berg!! 🐱👍🏿
@Mark Victor Because it creates redundant pathways in the brain, a more interconnected brain. So when Alzheimer's disease destroys brain tissue and thus pathways, hopefully, those redundant pathways can come into play. There was a high-quality, longitudinal study done with nuns where autopsies showed that though the intellectual nuns in study had brains with the physical signs of Alzheimer's, they didn't have the behavioural symptoms. My own view: skilful activities that involve multiple regions of the brain, such as dancing, playing an instrument, a martial art like Tai Chi or Wing Chun, would be very protective. Ideally: simultaneously sing, dance, and play a instrument with other dancing, singing, musicians. That will work the brain.
Both of my parents passed from Alzheimer’s. With everything I’ve read, I think it was from all the medications they had taken in their lives. Neither of them were big eaters, especially my mom she ate like a bird, but their diets were horrible & they took plenty of pills. I could never get through to them & they certainly didn’t want me going to their doctors with them. My dad was in his late 70’s when he passed & my mom was 89 when she passed. I feel they would’ve lived even much longer if they hadn’t of been on so many meds & had better diets. But that could be me just being selfish & wishing? RIP Mimi & Pop-pop💖🌻💖 **Thanks everyone! I appreciate it.**
My father passed at age 86 and took a lot of meds. My mother is still alive at age 98 and never takes meds, only supplements. My father had systems of dementia…mother is still very lucid.
I usually don't enjoy watching medical videos because they tend to be very complex. But with your videos, you make them very clear and easy to understand. Please continue to do more.
I knew a man that was told he had alzheimer's and had to quit driving. 3 months later I saw him and he said that he had switched drs and it was his medication. That was about 15 yrs ago. Still drives to this day. Think.....he almost got robbed of 15+ years of his life.
Thank you for this video Dr. Berg. I am a Trauma Informed Therapist and First Responder Chaplain with 38 years experience. I put my Self through nursing school and College working in a Skilled Care facility doing Memory care with Alzehimer's disease dementia patients. I just spent the last 3 years being the main caregiver for an Elder with Advanced stage Alzheimer's disease dementia. I did End of Life care and Hospice care for her. She died in May. It was an Honour to Love and care for her in her own Home and to fulfill her wishes. It is my opinion that most Nursing Homes give surgary treats, juices , jams, jellies, cookies, candies , ice cream, smoothies, and a carbohydrate laden diet to patients to sedate them. Even the majority of protein given is in the form of Ensure sugar enriched protein milkshakes, smoothies, custards, puddings and ice cream. The sweet taste is the last to go and people at end of Life often crave sugar and sweets. These are used as a reward to manage behaviour. Patients are often in the habit of eating a high carbohydrate typical American diet. So hospitals and dieticians justify these diets because the foods are familiar to the patients and comforting. Regarding the comment about how you would rather be skinny than have Alzehimer's Disease....... It seems to me that the patients in Nursing Homes are getting fatter and heavier each year. I believe this is done purposefully to control behavior. Here is why: Thin wirey Alzehimer's patients tend to have more adrenaline and be " Runners". They try and escape and have to be drugged and sedated. Simply put they wear out their caregivers. Yet obese heavy set patients, (while difficult to turn, Bathe and transfer ) tend to have more dopamine and because of this are more likely to be " fat and happy", sleepy and sedated, and not cause as many behaviour problems. They tend to be more compliant and docile and can be easily managed and manipulated because of their food addictions. Sadly, I have seen patients be kept alive on Ensure tube fed through their noses for years. Western culture tends to glorify Youth and Deny Death at all costs. These patients were not allowed to go into the Actively Dying stage and die a peaceful natural Death. We need to have a Revolution in Death and Dying encouraging Hospice care at Home just like there was a Revolution in Planned Home Births in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. We need to educate our Selves and our Loved Ones about the healthy natural process of Death and Dying. Just as there are distinct stages in Labour and Birth , there are clear stages in the Actively Dying phase of the Labour of Death. Transitioning across the Veil into Eternity takes work. Educating our Selves and our Loved Ones about the stages of Death and Dying and our wishes regarding our End of Life Care is a Loving thing to do. Education takes away our Fear of the unknown. Reciently I was inspired to make educational videos for Family Cargivers of Loved Ones with Alzehimer's Disease Dementia. I am creating a UA-cam channel and making videos. Please pray for me for Courage. I am on Quora and Facebook Messenger. I wish you Clarity and Peace and Joy on your Healing Journey. Hold the Lantern and Light The Way. Also I am noticing it more so since I received the Covid shot from Pfizer ,(2nd shot) and the first from J&J . I HAVE ALSO BEEN A SUGAR LOVER FOREVER. I NOW WILL BE WATCHING MORE CLOSELY MY SUGAR INTAKE And DIET. I have noticed in the last two years or so that my appetite has declined , I am relatively active for my age and get around very well on my own, but, I read a lot and therefore SIT ALOT . @@sharonkbutz3754 , I am giggling to my Self when I realised I wrote a book just now. Big smile. Can you tell I live alone Dear One? Yeah. I hope these simple basics of maintaining Brain Health help build confidence in people. I would just add : Avoid smoking and Alochol. Both kill brain cells. 12)take a Probiotic like Acidopholis lactobacilis, bifidus and casei daily. Our gut microbiom regulates our mental health, reduces inflammation which helps to maintain our Brain Health and our gut's manufacturing of serotonin . This can effect Anxiety, Depression, IBS, etc. Eat Probiotic foods like saurcrout, youghart, Kim chi, keifer, etc. 13)Watch Dr. Berg to learn the correct vitamins , minerals and suppliments to take to Heal any condition you masy have. 14)SERIOUSLY RESEARCH ANY MEDICATION OR PRESCRIPTION DRUG YOU ARE PRESCRIBED. Talk to the pharmacist, read the enclosed pamphlet, Google the drug. Ask for an alternative or see a Natropath to treat the condition naturally. Get a plan to wean off Big pharma drugs. There are drugs on the market being prescribed and available over the counter that have serious toxic effects. And that HAVE BEEN PROVEN TO CAUSE DEMENTIA AS A SIDEEFFECT IN HEALTHY NORMAL PEOPLE. Go Google Benadryl. Totally not worth the risk. I go to people's house and they have Alzehimer's and their medicine caabinets are full of Benadryl. Finally a study came out proving a direct link to Benadryl use and dementia. 15)Watch Dr. Berg's video on Magnesium. We have an epidemic of Magnesium deficiency in the West. The book "The Magnesium Miracle" by Dr Carolyn Dean MD ND And UA-cam video by the same tell you how to treat Anxiety, Depression, Restless Leg Syndrome, Heart palpitations, constipation and 300 other issues with Magnesium. In Elders brain fog and confusion can be caused by constipation. You do not need laxatives, and suppositories. Just learn how to use Magnesium citrate . I hope you find lots of creative ways to build brain health. My last tip is the most importasnt..... 16) Trust God and do not worry. We are in His Hands. My favorite affirmation is based on Psalms 112:7 I will not fear evil tidings. My heart is steadfast I am trusting in the Lord. . I say that verse every time I feel afraid of Alzehimer's. The Lord God Creator of the Universe Loves you. He wants you to have a full and Abundant Life. Jesus said " I am the Way, The Truth and The Life. No man comes unto the Father except through Me. " He also said " I come that they may HAVE LIFE AND Abundant Life". God Loves you and has an Amazing future in store for each of us when we cross over the Veil into Eternity. We have free will. He wants us to freely chose Him. He wants to have a relationship with us now. When we ask Him to come into our Lives He brings His Holy Spirit to live inside us and Leads and Guides us gently every day. I hope you have an Amazing rest of your Life. I am sure that God will continue to bless you and that your Life will be full to overflowing with His Love. I wish you Clarity and Peace and Joy on your Healing Journey. @@seabreeze4559 , Thank you for the reminder! Yes EXACTLY AVOID USING ALUMINIUM FOIL AND COOKING or BAKING PANS. Use stainless steel to cook in. Every time I went to an Elder's Home and opened their cupboards and saw pitted aluminum cooking pans I would feel so sad. Metal toxicity is real. Use stainless steel. Shop thrift stores to find stainless steel Farbwrware or other high end good quality brands. Do not line pans or baking pans with aluminum foil. I personally use ALUMINUM FREE BAKING POWDER. I don't use under arm deordants that contain Aluminium. It is a very reactive metal that is easily absorbed by the Brain and Body. *Also avoid " Forever chemicals" PCVs and plastics. Never microwave in a plastic

@@SweetSassyBull That is beyond rude. It is ignorant and obviously unChristian. Christians know that prayer does work. However, the Bible tells us to act on our issues and pray. Prayer and seeking solutions to health issues could work together for great results. 🙏
Dear Dr Berg this video has touched a very sensitive part of me as my mum died with severe alzheimer's disease last year and I fought with every doctor within the hospital to stop feeding her the disgusting anti soul drugs they were giving her. I eventually managed to get them to stop and gave her mineral tissue cell salts instead however the damage was so deep that she died of a terrible lung infection caused by the side effects of the drugs in which she was unable to cough up her mucus. It was a devastating period of my life. I spent 3 years caring for her and unfortunately she fell and broke her hip. Once she fell into the hands of the system her health went from bad to tragic. The health system should not be called a health system. The hospitals kill and none of the doctors work under oath. God bless you. x
I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. I'm starting to experience that myself right now with mine. She had terribly adverse reactions to some of the sedatives they were prescribing. I put a halt to them immediately. Respect to you for trying to do everything you could for your mom despite the circumstances.
[My Mom passed away last year as well from the same nonsense because the doctors made her believe as well as my brother that taking the medication was the best course of action. Berg so others have a fighting chance. My God bless Dr. Berg and everyone else who is walking away from Big pharma and prayers to the ones that need to be awaken.]

Sorry for what you experienced at the hands of “care.” When my mom passed of Congestive heart failure, along with vascular dementia, type II diabetes, high blood pressure… you get it. The Doc put her on diuretic pills to reduce fluids on heart. She was in nursing home and became so dehydrated that when I arrived she Begged me for water. I gave it to her and told the staff AMA to stop the dam diuretics and give her water when she asks! Hospice patrol called and told me I was hastening my mother’s death, that I should NOT stop the meds. I said my mom is dying, she knows it. I accept it. What I can’t live with is witholding fluids so she lasts a few more weeks dying of thirst! Witnessing just how managed care is given leaves me in shutters to this day.

Great info, Dr. Berg! I was trying to explain autophagy and the self HEALING benefits of fasting at a family gathering recently. I told them, “you don’t have to believe me if you don’t want to, but I’m telling you that I have healed myself of infection through fasting and sleep”. They thought a 48-hour fast sounded crazy. It’s hard to get through people’s conditioned beliefs and behaviors in regard to diet and health. Hopefully, I planted a seed. If these illnesses and diseases can be prevented we have to try. @@domenicoberardi2739 I was just thinking the same thing…but most times I do have Sundays off so I’m thinking I could do Sunday-Monday. For me, it’s going to be my mindset more than which days I actually fast. I like the idea of focusing my Sundays not only on church, rest and preparing for the upcoming week but also healing my body with fasting and then carrying that into the start of my week! God’s speed!
@@domenicoberardi2739 Start with a shorter fast. Go for 12 hours with only water, green tea and/or black coffee. Start working your way to longer fasts as you see how your body reacts. @@dnnnuii I read an article years ago (around 15 years ago) that claimed a connection between dementia and root canals, with root canal being one of the only procedures we do involving leaving a dead body part in the body, and bacteria being trapped in the old tooth eventually spreading. But around the same time, I read a couple of other articles indicating that Alzheimer's is really Type 3 diabetes, which does basically agree with this Dr Berg video. Maybe there's something to both of these ideas.
Dr berg is unique in that he is willing to look at all theories & is willing to change his mind / admit he’s been wrong about something. That’s so rare in a medical professional
Thank God there are people like you Dr Berg. I'm only 42 and I've been having trouble remembering people, conversations etc. As if that isn't hard enough, people are so cruel, they get angry with me and make fun of me. I'm glad there are people like you in the world, that have compassion. I'm going to tell my nuerologist that I want to try KETO, fasting, and other natural remedies before anything else. Thank you.
You are too young, but with a proper diet, exercise, etc you will be even better try Deep breathing techniques, coconut oil!!! Watch the Ted talk about, a doctor tried it on her husband and even wrote a book. Sun baths, walking on grass, hugging a tree. There is a documentary about listening to music you've loved all your life and help you keep you grounded. There is also studies and doctors that use an inflammatory injection for rheumatoid arthritis on patients with Alzheimer's and works wonders. Praying and reading the Bible and socializing keeps you grounded too. Lots of water!!! And love and forgiveness too.
Did you speak with your Neurologist yet? In a way, I hope you don't because he may discourage you from getting in ketosis and from fasting because most conventional drs don't believe in keto, ketovore, or carnivore. You have to help yourself first. Good luck!
I remember a study done many years ago on nurses. They were followed for decades. Eventually as they died they examined their brains. The Altzheimer patients had the plaques and tangles in their brains and they assumed that's what caused Altzheimers. But then they found that the nurses who did not have Altzheimers also had the same plaques and tangles in their brains. But they were sharp mentally when they died. So some did realize that those plaques were not the cause of Altzheimers even decades ago, or so I thought. Very interesting video.
Fasting for 48 hours is the key to good health. Ayurveda proposed 36 hours fast at every 15 days . Now our lifestyles are worse, we need 48 hours fast per week. Thanks Dr.Berg
I completely and absolutely agree. I became an avid "faster" in 2017. And l practice OMAD on a primarily vegetarian diet. I understand that l must maintain the vehicle my spirit is riding in this realm. Namaste.
Having a mother who suffered from Alzheimer's, I know what you're talking about..thanks for the priceless knowledge that you provide us with everyday 🌸
There's a very interesting story from a few years ago about Kris Kristofferson being mis-diagnosed for several years from "Top Doctors" as having Alzheimer's. It turned out to be Lyme Disease. He was treated with antibiotics and reversed his symptoms. My own theory has always been that it is caused by Lyme Disease so that story reassured me even more.
Thank you for all this information. I had a lot of problems with my health. The main one was pain in my legs and back. Since following your advice and making changes to my life style I feel so good I am thankful for finding you and your videos. I have not only lost stubborn weight but have more energy. I am 73 and was afraid I would be in hospice. I brag about it so much people tell me to shut up...😄😄 intermittent fasting and keto diet has save me.
I heard a podcast recently by a top neurologist working in NZ, Dr Mathew Phillips and he said a similar thing. He also said Alzimers and Parkinson's were the same condition but acting in different parts of the brain. He was treating both conditions with remarkable results using exactly the treatment Dr Berg describes here.
This is so true. I have my mom in a nursing home and i als9 realized they give them a bunch of junk food as I call its. Its cheaper for their budget to buy lots of breads and pastas and canned fruits instead of real vegetables and healthy foods like quinoa and fresh fruits etc. I've had my mom's menu modified many times bc of this issue. Unfortunately any kindnif senior living facility is a business and they will sacrifice a nutritious meal for their profits. I go 4 times a week and give mama homemade Kale w pineapples smoothie, sweet potatos, quinoa flakes ., berry smoothie and greek yogurt. Its sad these places dont make a priority the value of nutrition for these patients. Thank you for sharing this video w us.
Wow! Makes sense Dr.Berg! My husband has several family members that all have dementia and all of them smoked. 3 died from Dementia already and 2 are on their way out!😢Talk about toxins. The mood swings are horrible and these people have a lot of anger! I read a book years ago by a cardiologist who talked about insulin and all the problems it caused. The guys name was Richard Bernstein who wrote the book. Before my sister died 7 years ago I tried to tell her she had insulin problems. Then I found you and I believe you saved my life. I agree too I would rather be very thin then get Alzheimer’s!
Most likely, they ate 3 meals per day, with snacking in between, not allowing the body to cleanse and experience autophagy. My grandmother did not smoke, but this may have been the culprit for her and many others. Too many toxins! Not enough antioxidants.
@Simas Graliauskas The Anger is real and that is the one effect I am chasing down hard! Keto Diet, Fasting - been there for 6 years, but the anger is gettin worse for me. It was and is now bad wtih my grandparents and my living parents (in their 80s). Watching this video brought back many sad memories of visiting the Assisted Living Facilities to see relatives in various stages. Thank you Dr. Berg for your research and videos and Thank you Simas for bringing up the Anger component.
I’m sure you already know this but felt compelled to clarify. Thin people get Alzheimer’s too. It’s about metabolic health and nourishing the body. Being trim, having muscle tone, being active and following the lifestyle Dr. Berg promotes is surely the ticket.
…also, for those talking about anger. Its also really important to tend to the energetic side of your life. Your thoughts, feelings and emotions you hold inside and project out into the world dictate so many if not all physical instruction to the body. In turn, an unhealthy microbiome can be the cause of depression and anger as well. Super important to look at yourselves as the multilayered being you are and tend to ALL aspects of your existence.
I didn't know people with Alzheimer's has mood swings and anger issues. My 87 yo dad has disabling parkinson's but his mood is good and is a happy old man no mood/anger issues. Wonder why as both are severe and progressively disabling neurological diseases
Dr. Berg: I am a retired veterinary pathologist with mild diabetes, Mild Cognitive Impairment, arthritis (mostly spinal), and a constant struggle with brain fog. Your logical, fact-based explanation of an alternate theory to the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease makes a lot of sense, and I will definitely follow this idea in the future and am energized to stick to my previous goal to treat my above conditions throug periodic fasting and avoidance of processed carbohydrates. Please keep this line of thinking coming in your helpful fact-based videos. Outstanding. I lost my great grandma to alzheimers in 1985 and my step grandma in 2014 to it as well. Great information. Glad I already practice IF and healthy keto for 2 years now.
Dr, you have no idea how much blessing you are to me personally and to people around the world. I always call you a pastor because the solutions you provide, atleast 90% of the time, aligns nicely with God's solutions to our health and spiritual proplems in the bible. Thank you once again and never get tired.
I'll bet if we go on keto and are strict about it, we will avoid it completely. IF is also a key. Dr Blaylock convinced me that most if not all diseases are caused by inflammation and inflammation is exacerbated by sugar. It all fits together.
Sugar / processed foods / gluten some dairy mainly the processed stuff . It’s true -I went though a very stressful time and ate more sugar things than normal and my brain fog got so so so bad
Working at the hospital I regularly go through the geriatric wards and dementia wards, knowing that these people would regain their health on a ketogenic diet while watching them being fed endless concentrated fruit juices, jams on toast, biscuits, chocolate sweets and cookies etc. It’s obvious that I’m watching a deliberate form of genocide taking place. Seeing all the foreign nurses acting coldly and apathetic to my fellow countrymen and women in their old age, knowing that these new people are their demographic replacement is just heartbreaking and infuriating all at once. Those responsible control our healthcare from their corporate executive suites & our media, our communications media, our scientific institutions, and even our politicians.
Please don't be so harsh towards the nurses, I work in social care and the staff have little control over diets, plus most people will be in there having eaten like that most of their lives and want what is 'normal'.

Hello Doctor Berg. I too am a nurse and a diabetic. I started doing the adding apple cider vinegar to my meals from one of your videos and it has helped me a lot already. I do the Paleo lifestyle and use all the good anti-inflammatory oils.
Thank you, Dr. Berg. My mother was diagnosed two weeks ago. Been trying to get her into IF and keto for a few months. This gives her a lot of information and a plan.
Thank you so much, Dr. Berg!! BOTH my parents had/have Alzheimers/dementia... Thanks to you, doctor, my favorite thing to do to keep myself healthy is prolonged fasting and doing (mostly) keto. I'll be starting another fast shortly. I am caregiver to my 92 yo mom who has dementia. I, literally, do EVERYTHING for her. It is getting more and more difficult to care for her because as she declines, I get older! 😬 I am blessed that she, at least, knows me but she really doesn't converse well at all...She is happy to sit and watch TV all day. My son said it best, "She's NOT living...She's EXISTING!" THAT is an excellent summary of what life with mom is now. Follow Dr. Berg's advice and try to avoid this ever-increasing tragedy!! It is absolutely devastating!! 😭
@@keeperofthegarden2306 Hey...Thank you for the encouragement!! It does get pretty discouraging sometimes...Especially, when she is contentious! 😑 Very kind of you to take a minute to offer some sweet words! 💕
I thought that the research came up previously that proves that the alzheimers is due to the condition of teeth/cavity in the tooth. I’m too lazy to find the source of the research again but i hope Dr. Berg has looked into it as well.
I feel better after reading your comment my dear aunt is 90 years old she has demencia that has different symptoms that demencia , she is happy watching TV and being in bed the problem she doesn't want to change diapers what is the cause of urinary infection. It is painful to see her like . Thanks for sharing your experience with your mom I know that I am not the only one who is going through this terrible situation
I highly appreciate the beneficial information you always present in your videos; you exert a lot of effort and spend significant time getting this massive information and presenting it in a few minutes
What about Fermented Cod liver oil cinnamon in gel form from Green Pastures. Also Celtic Sea Salt with 93 very important n very needed minerals. Pink H only has 83. Celtic is only one totally natural n sun dried.. Also like organic n natural supplements that are actually food grown n minimally processed therefore not fake or synthetic. Also I like Aloe Master Aloe vera juice for the gut issues.
My mother in law suffered from this. I would argue that it is one of the most cruel disease to ever exist. Your watching someone die twice. Most regular medicine just slowed the problem. She was only 59 when she died. I remember often she would want to only drink Dr.pepper. Hearing this makes me wonder about what might have helped her.
Its so refreshing that you cite your sources. I go read them and look at other similar studies to verify the likelihood of your claims. You do an excellent job of not only representing the science, but showing your work. I'm getting results in my health I was never able to achieve before watching your videos!
Dear Dr Berg. I’m a caregiver for many years, in home care and facilities … when you speak of the devastation, of what they’re going thru in their progressions of most dementias and what the food intake is, you are speaking the truth. Thank you for helping clear up the issues. It seems the Alzheimer’s / dementia population is starting younger and it’s important about the sugars and carbs, sleep, getting good herbals. Thank you ! Please continue giving your medical insightful advice concerning carbs, and fasting!!!! 🌸 you can’t explain it enough !!!! Ch
Sugar is a quite literally a killer. My mother is showing symptoms of dementia. She is not fat but binges on chocolate biscuits every few days. She's quite active but her decline in cognitive performance and her memory is quite noticeable now. She has considerable mood swings as well. Can be very mean and spiteful. She's 78.

@@gatopard77 Please let us know if this applies to just that person you are referring to or everyone. For example I might be helping on Mommy's side to keep my grandfather alive I believe, and that is with some supplements but he doesn't always take, got worse about it, and wonders why he is taking so sometimes doesn't take. He is getting a lot worse though even though he is in his early 90s. Around a decade ago he was still driving but around that time my grandmother passed and then he started getting a lot worse with the disease as the disease may have started already and he stopped being able to drive. My grandmother was already having the sweets and I think didn't care much anymore and yes she had diabetes for some years I think must have been from eating some sweets. Now Grandfather used to not have any problems walking some years ago but now does for some years, used to sleep in his bedroom some years ago but for some years now only wants to use furniture that is in the living room but will still do stuff in his bed room like dressing himself, refuses to get a hearing aid, gets angry a lot more now, forgets stuff, takes forever to get ready even for the doctor, doesn't like to travel far to go to a restaurant, etc. I have learned for example how important the Gut is and that it must be in great shape, etc. But like we can't keep sweets away from my grandfather so I know he will never consider a fast. It's not too bad yet like that nasty stuff at the grocery store but like cakes and pastries yes he will have that stuff after dinner. These sweets in the USA from those big companies as you probably know have a lot of bad ingredients in them as well unless you find a special company. My grandfather used to be into healthy stuff years ago like healthy vitamins he learned about on the radio for example. So I don't know what happened to him and he is getting really bad. Okay I better stop typing.
Thank you Dr Berg for this video and all the research you did to bring this information to us! It’s so appreciated! Alzheimer’s is a terrible disease and it’s scary how many people it effects now a days. I think prevention is definitely key!

Dr. Berg - Thanks for this important video. Somewhere on UA-cam is a video recorded by a woman doctor. Her husband was disabled at home by "Alzheimers" - what ever that is. Due to his worsening condition, she was planning to close her medical office and go home to care for him. She said she heard of coconut oil helping Alzheimers. So she got some coconut oil and gave him 2 tablespoons several times per day. After several days, he got up one morning and remembered how to get cold water from the refrigerator door. He continued to improve, and she decided he was well enough to stay home alone and she kept her medical practice. She believed the secret was that coconut oil is a short-chain fatty acid. Dr. Berg - What are the short-chain fatty acids that are safe to drink ? MCT oil ?
Thank you for this informative video. I've begun small steps towards the use of selected food supplements in my diet.coupled with behavioral changes. Am entering my 70's and am keenly interested in alternative ways to maintain my overall health and brain function. It's not easy to adopt changes in life long behaviors, but step by step I hope to make progress. I find your videos a great help and motivator for introducing these changes. Thank you, and I hope to be kicking around for a few more decades.
Dear Michael T. Of course you will ! First, you appreciate getting informed on youtube... I'm 76, and beginning, like you, to do better behavorial changes. Go on, go on !
I always was low carb and led active lifestyle. No keto, but low carb. Ate a lot of vegetables (because of fiber and as a source of nutrition, mainly minerals) and limited my gluten, and grains in general. Always avoided fast food and had no sugar in my diet. Yet, a year after year my health was deteriorating, I had inflammation and became prediabetic and developed NAFLD, lost sleep and had problems with memory. Thought that dementia is inevitable considering problems in my family. Despite my healthy lifestyle I had no idea on how harmful are seeds oils are. Dr. Berg opened my eyes. I've changed my diet, went on strict keto, added IF and long term fasting, and removed all seed oils from my diet. It changed my life dramatically. I have better blood pressure than in my teens, I sleep better now and my memory has improved. I'm as strong as im my 20s when I was practicing athletics professionally. I wish my grandmothers had same information when the "healthcare" system fed them with processed sugary garbage and medications which didn't improve their condition even a bit but I feel just made it worse. Thank you Dr. Berg. This information gives us all a great deal of hope and optimism.
@@jonnanr18 Oils from seeds and legumes - rape (canola), cottonseed, rice bran, corn, sunflower, soy, palm seeds etc. Industrial extraction of which requires high pressure, temperature, and chemical refining (to remove odor and impurities) with solvents - processes which oxidize those oils and makes them impossible to be metabolized. I use now unrefined olive and avocado oils, occasionally homemade sunflower oil and it all made huge difference in my health. My labs are amazing. Honestly, It didn't even occur to me that oils can be oxidized and that it was a problem. I always considered Canola oil to be pure and healthy.
@@haimaphilhp canola oil (Canada Oil) was first manufactured in Canada during the second world war as grease for munitions. The new name was invented because of the bad connotations of rape.
One problem is when older people are too far gone with demintia/alzheimers then getting them to make adjustments is impossible. Getting my 87 year old greiving Dad to go keto is impossible or at least very hard work met with utter confusion and aggression.
My mother didn't have any dementia until she moved into a nursing home. It's potatoes and cookies, white bread etc, every day! She doesn't move out of the bed since she returned from the hospital. Black mold in her room almost killed her but this poor diet will in the end :(
Sorry to hear about your Mother. The nursing homes are notorious for drugging patients with antipsychotics, Benzos and incontinence drugs that can cause neurological problems. If you can get a list of her medications, it might be them causing the problem.
I'll add a few more signs: -Not remembering the task you're supposed to do right after being asked or told to do it. -Not being able to get back on task after being distracted as a result of forgetting what you were doing before you got distracted. -Not being able to retain a change of plan. So if originally you want the person to pick up hot dogs from the supermarket but then change your mind and ask them to get burgers instead, they'll get the hot dogs and forget the plan was changed. The person I know who is showing signs has no issue with navigating the area we live in, in his car...yet. In addition to that, he is emaciated. He can not fast. He had surgery to remove part of his colon. There was a reason for that but his problems have increased from what I'm observing because he isn't eating enough as it is, for fear of the toilet as well as when he does eat, he isn't absorbing the nutrients. There is no way that the nutrition (or lack of it) is not a factor. You get "too thin" your organs start shutting down. His symptoms of alzheimers get worse when he doesn't eat also. So fasting isn't right for everyone.
Thank you Dr Berg! You are brilliant. I don’t believe the medical community and big pharma have an interest in finding cures, or in promoting natural treatments that bring good results since there isn’t the big money in it. I guess there is a boatload of money to be made in keeping people sick and on expensive drugs. You are a huge blessing Dr. Berg ❤️
Great video as always and I think you're on the mark, my Dad has alzheimer's and had a very poor diet full of sugar and carbs for most of his life and also had thyroid problems and depression.
Both of my grandparents did not eat much sugar. I don't agree with this. Keto has issues as well and can cause heart issues. Age related diseases can be controlled just as well as the climate -- it can't. It's genes and a roll of the dice. People who think they can try to design ways to control things should just go gamble in Vegas. You'll have better odds there.
Yes the Mayo clinic recently stated it's description of Alzheimer's as type 3 diabetes. Which makes sense when you look at the dietary evidence and mineral lack; as well as exercise, sleep issues we are all facing every generation-wise sooner.
@@delaineyjohnson8238 they may not have eaten much sugar but what about all the other carbs, breads, corn, cereals, potatoes, rice? People don’t realize how many carb’s they actually are eating because they only think about pure sugar..
You are definitely the smartest, even so I have some skeptics on interval fasting. A lot speaks for it, but instinct tells me not in my case. I did strict keto in the past, I was very skinny( I am still skinny, maybe 3 kilos more now). I am healthy now, but I have eaten liver, steak, chicken adding meat to my diet( skipping eating only fish, being also a vegan in the past, more than 40 years around 45 without meat) plus yeast, garlic, lemon juice, Brussel sprouts, etc....As I watch you my diet changes plus I tell myself my grandma did it right. In fact you and she are my orientation, and she must have eaten in the time she lived bread often, but self made, etc.... She even made her own butter from the farmer's fresh milk. Her parents were farmers, her brothers were farmers and we had a huge garden plus own lots of land. I think her lifestyle was the best, cooking baking all being fresh from the garden. And we even ate cherries climbing up the trees, hazelnuts, walnuts, plums, all types of berries grown in the forest, mushrooms, etc... We ate all possible types of food, but really mainly own or from neighbors (my family still does as I live now in Germany they in the Czech Rep. ). I think this is the way I want to keep on eating. Thank you.

Hi Eric, there are two ways to solve this condition and first one costs nothing. 1. Autofagia is triggered when fasting for at least for 16h per day and eating no sugars for at least 2-3 days 2. For gene regeneration it is crutial to have enough Iodine in organism, when I say enough i mean 12 (2 drops of 5% solution) or 25mg(4drops of 5%) per day in form of Lugols solution + vitamin B and magnesium. Make note that recomended Idodine intake is 200mcg which is just not enough...
It's because they pulled all the fat out of the food. There was a study done years ago that showed a spike in Alzheimer's case in young people after they pulled saturated fats from all the fast food. The mistake they made is that it was trans fats that was making people fat not saturated fats.
Both my parents died from dementia and now my eldest sister has dementia and appears to going down hill fast. All 3 eat healthy, lead a healthy lifestyle, no drugs, very little alcohol. A lot of things may help but there's a reason it's becoming more prominent. Chemicals in food/water, increased wireless activity I feel is adding to it.

My mom had the disease. It was awful seeing her decline like she did before dying. She was on 10 different medications which I believe didn't help her. She was on metformin which I believe made her worse. I've never had a doctor tell me about alternative medicine. Always wanted to put me on some kind of medication. Which I never took. Until I watched your videos I suffered with feeling sick for years. I didn't know I was addicted to sugar & how bad it really is for me. I'm trying to be keto but find it hard eating this way. Once I eat even the tiniest bit of sugar I'm done for. I want more and can't stop. It's a struggle for me. I keep telling myself it's for my health. I started keto in July & have cheated many times. I feel like a failure with it. 😥
Keep trying Keto. Every day is a new start. I also "cheat "with fruit, figuring it is healthier, but I keep on going. I can handle fruit better than french fires cookies(my weaknesses).
Donna you are not alone in that struggle. It's exactly the same for me. The sugar addiction is too real. I'm starting fasting/ keto and failing all the time. In my mind l know it all about my health and my mind also is sabotaging my efforts. Let's keep trying.
@Donna S, you may have candida overgrowth which is driving your sugar cravings. I am sure Dr. Berg has some videos on candida. The fungus needs sugar to survive and therefore wants the host (you) to consume sugar. Please look into that as a driver for your sugar carvings. Best of luck for you reclaiming your health.
My mother died from early on-set Alzheimer's a few years ago - she was only in her 60's when she died. She had a terrible diet and, although she was slender, she had always eaten very badly and was always on some crazy diet and taking diet pills. She was diagnosed with clinical depression in her 20's and took very strong medication for that her entire adult life - she couldn't get off them and took so many pills for depression, sleeping pills and god only knows what else, that I am convinced this is what caused her to develop Alzheimers. However, the NHS diagnosed her with a very rare prion disease, Gerstmann-Straussler-Scheinker, based purely on symptoms! No autoposy was performed - no tests. Nobody in my family has prion disease - both of her parents lived to be in their 90's (her mother is nearly 100) and I am just frustrated with the entire thing. Personally, I feel it was her poor diet (though she was a vegetarian, she was very fond of sugar and carbs) and possibly the decades of taking very strong psychiatric medications.
I am so grateful to the work and research you do and make available. You have improved my quality of life, but more importantly given us all tools to empower us in managing our health and fitness.. Thank you so very much - so much better than noticing symptoms and decline and feeling helpless, especially when young GPs and consultants tell one it is to be expected at 'your age'. Thank you so very much. I am about to start growing my own tumeric as I notice it becoming more expensive, as is matcha green tea and other products that consistently appear in your recommendations. I believe microgreens can be grown easily and are also helpful in our diet/ they are fairly easily grown even for apartment dwellers to grow. Blessings, Love & light.

The lysosome mechanism looks to be similar to the foam cell formation leading to atherosclerotic plaques. Macrophages and semi-differentiated smooth muscle cells become burdened with oxidized LDL (and likely other damage proteins) and become foam cells that accumulate as necrotizing plaques.

What I find tragic, sad and funny is that my mother, an M.D., told me for well over a decade that our family and most especially hers that we have a chemical imbalance and thats why we need help from pharmaceuticals. In my case during the 90s and early 2000s she put me on anti-depressants like Effexor. Thing was she would have to increase the doseages because the body would learn to filter it. Thankfully, when I turned 21 I had decided to get off of all of that stuff. It took me a good 7 years to detox and heal etc. Waking up from all of this crap has affected my way of thinking and perspective as it pertains to 'the official narrative' on any subject. The plandemic was especially vindicating and yet upsetting. Now more people than ever are 'conspiracy theorists' just like me and realise powerful governments and big companies lie to us, hurt us and poison us. Thank you DR. Berg!
My parents “medicated” me when I was 16. Just before turning 18, I realized that the doctors were going to end up killing me. I stopped all of their devil drugs, and it also took many years for my mind to recover, and there will always be permanent effects from those monsters.

Dr. Berg, thank you so much for this groundbreaking video. The information you provide has the power to change and save so many lives, and I feel very humbled and privileged to be on the receiving end of it. With regard to this video, you identified hyperinsulinemia as having a role in the onset of Alzheimer's. The question this raises for me is, what is causing the hyperinsulinemia? For my part, I wish medical scientists would look more closely at the role of herpes viruses, and the chronic inflammation and glucose dysregulation that it causes, even when it is presumed to be dormant. Herpes viruses have been implicated in impaired glucose regulation and diabetes. Is it not possible that this ubiquitous virus that hundreds of millions of people globally have, is triggering far more health problems than is currently being recognized, including the hyperinsulinemia that leads to Alzheimer's?
Outstanding presentation! My mother had what they called 'vascular dementia' which is a fancy way of saying she had poor blood flow to the brain and it caused rapid degeneration of the brain. As others have mentioned int the comments, I believe that the primary culprit was medications and diet. My father died of colon cancer that was treated and then it spread and I believe the same applies to his poor health and early death. Both of my parents dies at age 73. Many older people are taking a dozen meds, or more, each day and I suspect that most doctors have no idea how this many different meds are interacting and what long term affects they are having on the brain and other systems in the body. This is why i have a strict policy of taking no meds. If my blood panel reveals a problem, which is rarely has, I try to figure out a natural remedy to address it and this has worked well for me for over 10 years. I also have a 19:5 IF schedule and I do a full body workout routine 3x per week. I am now 53 and in very good health. I hope to overcome whatever genetic predispositions I inherited from my parents and live a very long and healthy life.

I totally agree. I also work in memory care sometimes, and I cannot believe the food that they give them first of all they are in locked ward. They walk around all day the help is horrific. They put them on medication’s that keep them drowsy and they cannot walk anymore. There’s no circulation coming in clean air. The staff sometimes is horrific. Sometimes the rooms are dirty and they don’t clean the floors in the bathrooms and they do not brush their teeth unless the family is there and a lot of time the families are not there and you see them go down so very fast mentally and they give them more medication. More medication is so so sad to see and yes their diets are horrific. The nursing home is the worst place for anyone to be at mentally or physically😢

According to research produced by John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, the average amount of time between when diagnosis is made and when symptoms start is approximately 2.8 years.
Old Indian wisdom suggests it can be seen in the eyes up to 10-20yrs before debilitating symptoms manifest. Like MS , Park , & numerous other neuro degenerative diseases , if there is a genetic propensity in the family, it can lie dormant , gestate for decades in the body before it manifests . Same with glaucoma, AMD , RA & countless other progressive human ailments. Genetics plays a huge part Berg & all these YT r playing w fire by ignoring the all important part DNA & genetic predispositions play . Diet & lifestyle of COURSE have vast benefits, in general, but to suggest that alone will eliminate these awful diseases is both irresponsible and unscientific . The increase in all these neuro degenerative diseases has been exponential in the last 100 yrs ( since untreatable Spanish flu virus pandemic ) & damaged DNA has since been passed on to subsequent generations resulting in the increasing numbers we live w today . There is now evidence contracting Cov virus does irreversible damage to brain , which in turn will lead to further DNA epigenetic damage being passed on for generations to come . More balance and nuance would benefit Berg & other long term credibility .

Kind of why Dr Berg mentions eight (8) different methods to combat Alzheimer's.
Lifting weights causes early death. Look at Ron Coleman. He is about dead.
If Doctor Berg is right, the nursing homes actually contribute to making them worse.
aluminium packages cause it too

We took my mother in-law to a geriatric doc hoping for some help as she was loosing her memory quickly. Doc was concerned that she had lost some weight (after living with us and eating better). Doc told her she could eat ice cream 3 times a day if she wanted because it would be better for her to have the weight on.🤷♀️ I had just watched doctor Berg’s sugar and the brain video.

My cat blew the whistle away by sharing these notes from dr berg:
Early symptoms of Alzheimer’s:
• Difficulty remembering recent events
• Difficulty finding words
• Problems with spatial location
• Loss of smell
• Mood swings
What we know about Alzheimer’s:
• The brain shrinks, starting with the hippocampus
• People are getting it at a younger age (as early as their 20s)
• There is a correlation between hyperinsulinemia and Alzheimer’s
• Treating amyloid plaque hasn’t produced results
• There is a risk factor involving APOE
There is an alternative theory that Alzheimer’s is a lysosome storage problem.
Natural ways to enhance the lysosome function and autophagy:
1. Reduce glucose (get on the keto diet)
2. Do intermittent fasting (OMAD) and periodic prolonged fasting (a 48-hour fast once a week)
3. Try herbal remedies (curcumin, pine bark, thunder god vine, and green tea)
4. Include omega-3 fatty acids (DHA) in your diet
5. Increase SCFA (get into ketosis)
6. Exercise regularly
7. Get plenty of sleep
8. Consume cruciferous vegetables
7. Include extra virgin olive oil in your diet
8. Do heat and cold therapy
Thank you Dr Berg!! 🐱👍🏿
Thank you
Much appreciate.
Is Pycnogenol and pine bark extract the same and how do I tell which is the best form?
Thank you

RIP Mimi & Pop-pop💖🌻💖

Wow
I hope these simple basics of maintaining Brain Health help build confidence in people. I would just add :
Avoid smoking and Alochol.
My favorite affirmation is based on Psalms 112:7
I will not fear evil tidings.
God bless you. x

Its what the women voted for
I feel for you. I felt the exact same thing as a foreign student nurse in the UK. Ultimately, i left.
Please don't be so harsh towards the nurses, I work in social care and the staff have little control over diets, plus most people will be in there having eaten like that most of their lives and want what is 'normal'.
Noticing genocides everywhere is another early symptom...

I am blessed that she, at least, knows me but she really doesn't converse well at all...She is happy to sit and watch TV all day.
My son said it best, "She's NOT living...She's EXISTING!" THAT is an excellent summary of what life with mom is now.
Follow Dr. Berg's advice and try to avoid this ever-increasing tragedy!! It is absolutely devastating!! 😭

I thought that the research came up previously that proves that the alzheimers is due to the condition of teeth/cavity in the tooth. I’m too lazy to find the source of the research again but i hope Dr. Berg has looked into it as well.

What about Fermented Cod liver oil cinnamon in gel form from Green Pastures. Also Celtic
Sea Salt with 93 very important n very needed minerals. Pink H only has 83. Celtic is only one totally natural n sun dried..
Also like organic n natural supplements that are actually food grown n minimally processed therefore not fake or synthetic. Also I like Aloe

Ch

MCT oil ?
Use UNREFINED coconut oil. The refined oil is heated to such a high degree that it's not good for you.
Scary. Good video. Please can you make videos on vascular dementia and Lewy body dementia. Thank you DB ❤
I think the same applies, neurotoxins....
Dr. Berg without a doubt one of the best videos you have posted. You are on my list of things and I am grateful for
I just saw a short clip by a Dr. Who said, Alzheimers came about when the cholesterol drugs dropped the cholesterol too low.
What you said makes sense! Thanks
And the low fat, nonfat became popular, ubiquitous & then recommended by all doctors at around the same time... 45 - 50 years of brain starvation.

What are those seeds oils you stopped taking?

Wow! One of your very best videos! Thanks for all you do.
yes I agree! the best
Thanks! That was the goal. Glad you were able to get some questions answered.
Another super informative video from Dr Berg, this man is a national treasure.
I'll add a few more signs:
-Not remembering the task you're supposed to do right after being asked or told to do it.

Amy Berger says in her book, ' The Alzheimer's Antidote' that its caused by carbs and sugar. She calls it Type 3 diabetes.
Thank you, been trying to remember where i read this...😂
Pharmaceuticals 100 percent. The industry is corrupt.
Thank you.
Thank you so much for sharing your countless hours of research. Living what you believe. The symptoms I've struggled with since my 20's. My mom has dementia. "Slow death". I don't want to become another statistic.
I've shared your link with all my friends on social media who are affected by this. Sad to say....its just so many.
Please continue to post.....
Hi Eric, there are two ways to solve this condition and first one costs nothing.
1. Autofagia is triggered when fasting for at least for 16h per day and eating no sugars for at least 2-3 days
One lady saw remarkable results in her husband, almost back to normal by feeding him several tbs of organic coconut oil a day in his drinks and food.
Curious what was their glucose levels?

Fantastic reporting. Thank you for working so hard for us!

You are God sent Dr Berg!! This is such a useful information!

How is it diagnosed "before" symptoms start?
@@susanlbk On average it's diagnosed 2.8 years after the symptoms.
Genetics plays a huge part
Berg & all these YT r playing w fire by ignoring the all important part DNA & genetic predispositions play .
You rock Dr. Berg.
I am in a bit of trouble. I need to stay on the keto and eat vegetables and meat. I did it for 8 months but went back to carbs and ice cream bread , Farina. Etc.
There is huge difference in the mind as well as the body. Addiction is a bitch just have to over come it again
Thanks for this bro... I literally just asked you about MCI and you dropped this...
I’ve thanked you for enhancing my knowledge and my life before. My weight, A1C, and blood pressure are all down 25%. Your advice is helping immensely. Now there is potential light regarding brain deterioration Gracias
My Nana passed this January at 94 after 15 years of her diagnosis.this disease is awful.
We all have to die of something.
@@alexmorgan3435 but not all of us have to have Alzheimers for 15 years.
Yes, we all die of something and some of us are cursed with the devastating path of dementia. Not all ways out of here are created equal.

The worst thing is to live 15 years with alz or dementia. Sudden death is much more merciful in comparison. So in response to your thoughtless comment, NO, no one should die of alzheimer's or dementia, because it drags for years and it is hell for these patients and their families, because not everyone can afford an at home caregiver or a nursing home. These patients become a huge burden on their loved ones, especially when they have to be fed and put in diapers. You'd like that for 15 years???
