Hey Chris! 🌄 Just finished watching your adventurous hike up Soles Hill, and wow, that was indeed a steep climb! The panoramic views from the summit were absolutely breathtaking, and I could feel the crispness in the air through the screen. Kudos to you for tackling those hills, especially with the chilly weather. 🏞❄ It's always fascinating to explore new trails and terrains through your videos. The countryside looks so vibrant and green, providing a perfect backdrop for your walks. Your dedication to bringing us along on your hikes is truly appreciated! 🚶♂🎥 Also, that discussion about the disappearance of the creek was interesting. Nature's changes can be both beautiful and a bit melancholic. Looking forward to more of your adventures, Chris! Keep up the great work, and happy hiking! 🥾👍
Thank you so much for your wonderful comment. It certainly is strange how the stream dissappears underground. Nature is a wonderful but mysterious thing. It was certainly crisp up there. Thank you as always for your continued support. I really appreciate it.
Hi Chris, that looked like a steep clamber up those hills. Well done on getting to the end. I have to say, what beautiful scenery. The area has a lot of charm and character. Thanks for bringing us along ❤😊
Beautiful hike Chris. Love walking though the countryside and even we could handle 3 1/2 miles! 🤣🤣Well if not for the hills anyway. Absolutely stunning views though! Thanks for bringing us along.
Hi Dave & Kathy, Yes, it would have been a nice hike without that hill. Stunning views. Thank you for your continued support. I really appreciate it. Have a great weekend.
Thanks, Dan. I thought of you and the dudes when I was going up that steep bit. I bet Oliver bounded up it. Thanks again for your support, and have a great weekend.
@chrisbentleywalkingandrambling he's full of youthful vigor and limitless energy, I think going out with me frustrates him somewhat as I'm so slow in comparison!

Hi Jon, Thank you for choosing to watch my video. I really do appreciate it. New videos are released weekly. Have a great weekend. Thanks again for stopping by.
Soles Hill via Old Soles Wood isn't the longest hike, but I can tell you it was a very Sharp up. I would go so far as to say it was an up up. You certainly felt it.. Thank you so much. Have a good day
Hi Chris! Lovely hike, even if that hill was rather steep. The surrounding countryside is gorgeous. I am surprised how green it still is. I hope you are having a fabulous Thursday. ~ Anita 🙂👍
Hi Anita, it will be green all year round. It gets plenty of rain up there. The bogginess will just increase. But it is forecast snow on higher ground within a week, so the next one may be in snow. But it certainly is beautiful. Have a great weekend, Anita, and thank you for your continued support.
An up up indeed Chris! Bridge over no waters? Not a catchy title for a song! Old Soles wood! Very steep but breathtaking views. What a lovely looking trig, looks partially uprooted. Lovely 360°. Bet those heaters were on in the car! 👍
I could record that, I just need a backing group. It was an up up. I think the base has been eroded over 90 years rather than dug up. It's still a great spot with a view. Thank you for your continued support, and have a great weekend.
Hi Chris, for someone who hasn't been to the Peak District yet, this video of yours went down a treat. I really enjoyed it and your commentary added to the experience. Earned my sub!
It is more waffle than commentary, Willie. I just say what I say and feel at the time. Thank you for watching, commenting, and subscribing. I really appreciate it.
Looks like you had the weather with you Chris 😁 so greeeeen! Haha,, here it's all grey and dull these days although we actually have a THIN layer of snow now :) Is there like a map or an app or something where you have all the trigs?
It may be green, but it is cold, Martin. It's probably not cold for you but cold for me. 😀 We have Ordinance Survey paper maps of the Peak District, and all Trigs are listed on the Maps. I also bought the app, so then I just plot my own routes to and from these Peaks, taking in anything interesting I can find. Then I just tick the Trigs off as I go. Thank you, Martin, for your continued support.
It definitely got me out of breath, Anita. I stopped quite a few times on the way up, but the views were beautiful. Thank you for your continued support. I really appreciate it.

Hi Ms Kayak, Thank you for your continued support. I haven't had a notification for a while off your channel, and I'll check this out. The stream was in full spate and disappeared.
