I've walked and Mountain biked ,and gone underneath it ,I'm to old now but to see it all again is magic to me ,thanks to you both , it evokes memories of surprise and joy of finding such beautiful countryside to where I live .the sense of freedom and open spaces and the Rugged beauty was awe inspiring to a young man who's day job ,was down a coal mine , WE have a lot to be thankful for the people who fought for the RIGHT TO ROAM, in the 30s .

Having lived in The Peak District for most of the last 50 years, I can’t argue with this list. Fabulous photography
Thanks so much Andrew, that means a lot to us! We are really glad you agree with our list and enjoyed the video. See you in the next one ✌️
@@HayandKyle great content, do you guys do your video editing btw?
@@user-lu8vq2qd9c hi thanks so much ☺️ yes we do!
the roaches to luds church is one of my personal favourites!
Walk over Mam Tor, down the farmland to Hope village, through Castleton, then back up through Winnats pass. Great walk.
Sounds like a great walk with all of the views! 👌
if youre up for a bit of a harder walk and a wild camp go up the right side of winnats pass from speedwell cavern and take the steeper path towards the centre of mam tor then over the rest of the skyline and then to ladybower to camp in the woods
Really enjoyed that. At a time when we can't get out it was a real treat to watch. Thanks guys! Looking forward to more when lock down restrictions are eased! Take care! 🤗😍😍
Thank you so much for this. We've been to the Peaks 3 times yet only a couple of the locations you mention were known to us. This video is gold. It's also so lovely to see young folk treasuring nature and our beautiful land!! Epic work!!
This kind of comment is gold 😊 We love that we've been able to show you some new spots to check out next time you're in the Peaks. Thanks for watching, catch you in the next one ✌️
So nice to see that you included a lot of spots that aren't the typical 'brown sign' tourist spots (obviously they're amazing too) but good to see new places I haven't heard of!! Thank you!
Brilliant vlog, beautiful views, fascinating information, I love the peak district and have made many visits over the years, never get tired of it and find it impossible to pick out an absolute favourite, 💕💕🥰🥰😍😍xxxx
What a beautifully shot and fascinating documentary about the many gorgeous spots around our beloved peak district. Thank you so much, amazing landscape of which the Castleton area is our personal favourite...
I have been looking for so long for locations to run within the Peak District, this is the best compilation that I have seen and will be trying some of the locations. Thank you and you have truly inspired me 👍
Fantastic video folks, very professional and you have covered some of these stunning locations really well with the drone footage and great lighting conditions. Thanks for sharing, all the best, Paul
Thanks Paul, much appreciated and very happy you enjoyed the video. The Peak District did most of the work, it looks stunning all the time 😊
This so well put together and so informative. Thank you Kyle and Hayley.
Thank you for watching and commenting. Glad you enjoyed it and hopefully took some value from the video :)
Stunning footage, I'm pretty familiar with the peak District, but there's some places even I wasn't aware of, thanks for highlighting them 👍🏻
This is an awesome video - thanks so much for all your hard work making it. Making me super excited about my first trip to the Peak District! Will tag in any blog posts!
Thanks so much for watching! We are glad you enjoyed it. You'll love the Peak District, so much variety to choose from. Which place will you visit first? :)
Great video guys, Nicely put together with some wonderful drone footage. I enjoyed the fact that you didn’t do a predictable Top Ten with the obvious hotspots and instead included places like Thor’s Cave and Robin Hood’s Stride which are great places. I live a short walk from Black Rocks so was nice to see the aerial footage of the area too. Everyone will have their opinion on their favourite Peak District locations and you could easily do parts 2,3 and 4 but I think that was a great selection to kick it off. Thanks 👍
Hi Steve thanks for the great feedback ☺️👍 it's easier to know about the hidden gems when you don't live to far away from them 😅 Black Rocks is one of our favourite spots for sure, it's hard to guage what the whole area looks like with there being different aspects to it, so the drone was great for this 👍
Great drone footage and really useful info on the locations. I've photographed 9 of the 10 locations and your choices are brilliant. Well done.
Thanks George we appreciate you checking out our video and commenting and we're glad you agree with our choices. Hopefully you'll get the camera out for that 10th spot 📸👍😊
So beautiful! Now when I'm reading a UK book, I'll be able to picture what the Peak District is like.
Watched your video on Friday night and it inspired me to get up early Saturday 12th June and visit some of these places! Passed through Castleton but didn't stop as we wanted to get to places that we had never been before. (Castleton and Mam tor are great places to visit and we have been there several times.) Continued up to Bamford Edge (our first ever visit) it was amazing especially the view over Ladybower resevoir! Then on to Curbar Edge which was equally spectacular! Back home with a stop for a late lunch in Bakewell which was buzzing on this lovely summer's day, via Monyash, Longnor and Leek. A fabulous day out! Thanks for the inspiration.
We love this kind of comment. 😊 We are so glad you took something from our video and it sounds like you had an amazing time in the Peak District. We'll catch you in our next video for more adventures, thanks again! ✌️
Very helpful in planning my upcoming trip. Thanks. I especially look forward to Winnats Pass, Snake Woodland, and Curban Edge.
This is top class footage and beautifully narrated by both of you. Thanks for sharing.
Lovely video, I'm just planning a visit to the Peak District soon and these are some great suggestions, many thanks
Brilliant vid! Love the Peak District!
Cheers Ben! Glad you enjoyed! 👍
Loving it guys, we're just making our way through all of the best hikes in the Peaks. Thanks for sharing
Thanks so much for watching, we appreciate you checking out our content. Glad you enjoyed ✌️
Thanks for including a number of walks and places that i've yet to visit in the Peak District. You might also want to check out Black Hill, Marsden Moor Estate and Dovestone Reservoir on your next visit.
Hi Ian no problem at all, we hope you got some value out of it ☺️ we'll make a note of those places for when we are eventually allowed outside of the peaks! 😅
What a absolutely marvellous video. Going to explore this Sunday. Havent been in years, after watching this I am feeling very excited. Brilliant.
Well done on such a great video! Found out places we've never heard of before.
We have just subscribed to your channel.
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing, welcome on board! We are so glad you gained some value from the video, hope to catch you in our next one :) ✌️
I live just in Sheffield, and it amazes me still how lucky we are to live so close to castleton and the peaks. I've also walk thro what we call the snake pass woodland, your bang right with saying it has everything.
Castleton is still my favourite.
Great video guys, I will sure to go visit some of the places you have mentioned above.
Hello guys, stunning footage, well done. We will be using this as a guide when we come over and visit. Thankyou for the share
Love this! So informative ❤️
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it and hopefully settled on a favourite spot :)
Welldone guys, informative and nicely executed. Thank you 👍 ❤
Guys! You are amazing, what a wonderful video. Love it. 🥰
I lived next to the Peak District for many years. Great place to cycle too! I visited a few of these places on my recent bikepacking trip. Good shout!
Well done to you.
I live 75 miles away in the Fens, and never knew how attractive and rugged the peaks were!!!
Sick video guys! So professionally made, this video definitely needs and deserves more attention! Going to give snake woodland a go👍🏻
Ahh cheers for the great feedback! ☺️ Snake woodland is a great little spot! 👌 Enjoy!
Great video, can't wait to explore!
Thanks for the awesome comment! ☺️ Hope you got a few ideas of places! Next video should be uploaded on Sunday! 🤞
This is such a good video, thankyou guys. Will be back soon. Love the PEAK DISTRICT. Agree Castletown and the Hope Valley are beautiful. Fantastic filming
Thanks so much Will!! We are so glad you enjoyed our video, we appreciate you checking it out 😁
Nice video - I had never heard of some of these areas although I've been walking in the Peak District numerous times. The Castleton area is a good shout since there are several interesting show caves to see in case of inclement weather putting one off a long walk. I would also recommend Stanage Edge near Hathersage (although I've also walked Curbar Edge as it was so convenient to Chatsworth).
Great list! I would add a few more to the list (I mean it's not hard is it when you live in the Peak District) - Eccles Pike and Cracken Edge in Chinley are great walks! Also, Kinder Scout - on a clear day you can see the Welsh mountains.
Loved it - really good shots of each location. And, I agree with number one!
Thanks Karen, much appreciated, we are glad you enjoyed it :) We can't wait to head back to our number 1 spot when we can :)
WOW!!!! Amazing video, love the Peaks!!!
Thanks so much for watching. We are so glad you enjoyed it :) More from the Peak District coming soon, catch you in the next vlog ✌️
Another good one Hayley and Kyle ❤️
Glad you enjoyed!!
Fantastic video… does anyone else get a bit emotional watching videos like this? Goosebumps. Mother Nature is truly beautiful 😍
I Cave Dale and Mam Tor yesterday.. 🥰
Hi. I fell upon this and, living on the edge of the Peak District and having walked all your top 10, I enjoyed it very much. Interesting pronounciation of Curbar, which is Curber locally. My other favourites are: Padley Gorge, Edale and Kinder Scout with Kinder Downfall, Luds Church, Alport Castles, Bretton Clough and so many more. The Peak District is so underrated!
Thanks so much! ☺️ Haha not sure how we butchered the name so bad when we only live just down the road from it 😂 it is what it is I suppose! Love those places too! Thinking of doing a part two 🤔
Walked the kinder scout and across Edale just last week haha
Brilliant, I love the Peak District and live reasonably close in Macclesfield, you have a new subscriber, thank you.
Terrific video with amazing shots from the drone. It definitely is a gem on planet Earth!
Thanks so much ☺️ it really is isn't it?
Great Video! 👍Great Channel! 👍 fantastic landscapes👍 Thank you for sharing
love this vid cheers u know u know
Thanks so much ☺️ 👍 got plenty more videos on the peak District that we didn't include on this video, feel free to give a watch if you'd like ☺️👍
Great video, thanks for taking the time to post.
Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment, we appreciate it! :)
Wanted to go Peak District but couldn't find a good video on best locations. So thanks for the video, You have helped me out!
No problem at all glad you enjoyed! We have another peak district video coming out at 6pm tonight! ☺️
Fantastic video, looks like a brilliant channel. I appreciate the history as well, pretty mindblowing to picture Parkhouse hill as a tropical reef in another time. Thanks!
Thanks so much for your comments 🙏 we agree, it is pretty mind-blowing to think Parkhouse Hill used to be a reef. A lot of the Peak District used to be under a tropical sea! 🌊🐠 Cheers for watching, we'll catch you in the next one ✌️
A lot of that area used to be underwater. Cheshire to the West was once a tropical sea and that's why you get deep salt deposits there and why it's called the Cheshire Plain. Under the plain there are deep excavated salt mines large enough take huge trucks.
Awesome video guys, so informative, we have already discovered mam tor and love it, have booked a break in June in Chesterton and now can look forward to visiting some of your top ten walks. Gives us a really good head start thank you 😃
Thanks so much. We are really happy you got some value out of the video and enjoyed watching :-) We hope you have a great time out in the Peak District when it's safe to do so! Cheers!
Wow - another great video. Spot on top 10. Looking forward to more great content.
Glad you enjoyed! And great to have you on board! ☺️ See you in the comments of the next video! 👍
Great video. I love the Peaks and now have a few more places to visit.
Thanks so much for watching and leaving a comment! :) We are so glad you gained something from watching, we'll see you in the next one! 👍
Love it! The video and the Peaks. Love number 1 - we walked past it today actually!
Thanks for the comment! ☺️ Couldn't resist having it at number 1!!
Excellent video, thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed! 😊✌️
Only just started visiting peak district last year and instantly fell in love with castleton ❤️ did stanage edge last week absolutely stunning views !! Am tied to places with train station as I don't drive but I do hope to get to some of the other places you've shown xx
Having lived here in the Peak District for over 10 years I've not heard of half of these! Thanks for video as I now know what my next few dad and lad visits will be! Top stuff 👍
Glad you or some value out of it! We have just uploaded a video of Peak District stone circles that went up a couple of days ago! 👍
Excellent aerial views and commentary
great drone work and great video! liked and subscribed.
What a brilliant video. It gave some brilliant tips on where to go, and made our first trip to the Peaks so much better
Thank you Matthew! So glad to hear you had a great first trip to the Peak District 🤗 You'll have to let us know where you ended up! :) Cheers! ✌️
I’m so lucky to live near most of these locations, great video guys
Thanks Richie, we are also very lucky to have these on our doorstep. Thanks again for watching and commenting, more Peak District videos coming soon :) Cheers! ✌
Some great and original selections. I had a book on ghost towns of the USA and the Magpie mine site reminded me of some of the places in the book. Will definitely check it out.
absolutely beautiful, thank you very much. I think the Peak District will be our next holiday destination
That's great news you will love it ☺️ it's a beautiful area of the country 👍
Wonderful video, great photography and narration. The Peaks are a magical place with lots of surprises. Your number one is a favourite of mine, an early morning ride up Winnats to the side of Mam Tor to watch the sun rise and see the mist pooling in Hope Valley is a stunning site.
Thanks for the awesome feedback ☺️ albeit Mam Tor is a "touristy" spot, it's touristy for a reason, it's such a beautiful valley and you can't beat the sunrises and sunsets 👍
Wonderful footage, many thanks
Thanks so much for the lovely comment! We have another one coming out tonight ☺️ ✌️
Great Video, some new places to discover. My personal favorites so far (recently moved to Staffs and discovering the Peak District) are The Roaches at the edge of the Peak District near Leek and Three Shires Head walking along the River Dane from Gradbach (Waterfall Walk). I few people have recommended Kinder Scout.
Great vid guys, I'm in peak district quite alot & tbf I haven't seen half of these spots at all, can't argue with your number 1 at all, subbed 👌
Thanks so much for watching and your kind words. Glad to have shown you some new spots! Cheers for subbing, we'll see you in our new vlog tomorrow! :) ✌️
I usually do the harder stuff with a friend and easier stuff with my kids (only 22 months old and 3 years old) so it's Thors cave today. What I like about Thors is that you have multiple caves in that area that are a short walk. Also, if you like to camp like I do, the walk in from Wetton has endless amounts of wild garlic to spruce up your lunch.
Thanks Andy, you can't beat a bit of Thors Cave, providing you get there a little earlier before the crowds! Regardless, hope you enjoy it, looks to be another sunny day 🌞 Cheers! ✌️
I absolutely loved your video guys and I absolutely love the Peak District. I am an Australian who has only stayed there for one week but would love to return. Thanks for all the tips. A great walk that I did while I was there was The Roaches and down through Lud's Church. Thorpe Cloud was also another great little hill.
Thanks Del, we also enjoy Luds Church, in fact we have a separate video dedicated to it. Glad you enjoyed our content, thanks for tuning in from Australia :)
Some stunning places there H&K , some of which I never even knew about, so many thanks,.some of my favourites, not in any particular order are The Monsall trail, Errwood Hall, Kinder downfall, Longendale trail, Derwent dam, Haddon hall, Little John's grave Hathersage, Pooles Cavern Buxton and Buxton dome, Crich tramway museum. A wonderful part of the country. Keep up the good work.
Brilliant. We thought we'd been to the best places in the Peak District. Now we have several more places to visit. Thanks guys
Thanks for the comment Dave! ☺️If you've not seen our latest video yet we've just put one out tonight on Wyming Brook ☺️👍
I need to get some of this done on my hiking channel. Cheers. Great channel
Really nice video - beautiful drone footage and very tastefully edited. Congrats 👏 Definitely inspired me to visit!
Thank you for the nice comment! ☺️ Glad we've inspired you to visit! It's such a great place with all sorts to see ☺️
Great video guys, My girlfriend and I have visited some of these place and they are all beautiful. Keep up the good work.

Great video, so informative and well put together
Thanks so much glad you enjoyed it! ☺️
What an outstanding video, I loved the content and the quality was very professional. I will certainly be following more of your adventures.
Many of the places I have already visited but your drone footage shows a whole lot more that I have never seen, just incredible views.
I would love to see you cover the caverns.
Your doing great, please keep it up.
Thanks so much for your support Kevin, we are glad you enjoyed and took something from the video. Plenty more to come very soon. Much appreciated, cheers! 🙏👍
Well presented video. Me and my gf are heading up on the weekend and for sure will be going to at least 1 cheers!
Ooooo I've definitely got to add these to my list - thank you!

Just visited magpie mine after watching you video, thanks guys, great place and great video 👍.

Great video you have done a great job, brilliant drone footage and great discription good job and thanks
Thanks Eddie 👍☺️
Brilliant piece of history regarding the Peak District, you know the saying you learn something new every day . Much appreciated & new subscriber.
Welcome on board to the channel! 😊👍 Glad you enjoyed this one we've done quite a few videos since so hope you enjoy those ones too if you manage to get round to watching them 😅👍
Cracking vid! Thank you both. As a city dwelling Manc, dealing with the concrete jungle on the daily - it's refreshing to see what's available on the proverbial 'doorstep'. And whilst yes, I know, there's plenty of things to see nearby - in general, it doesn't compare to the lakes/peaks/dales/etc. so thanks for broadening one's horizons. I look forward to watching your other vids. Keep doing what you do 👍 (p.s. I like both of your faces - you pretty people, you 😊)
Haha thanks so much for watching and commenting, we appreciate you stopping by and checking out our videos. Makes our day when people gain some value watching :) Cheers again, we'll catch you in the next one ✌️
Brilliant footage well done guys. Very entertaining
Thanks so much for watching and commenting :) Glad you enjoyed it. More out soon ✌️
Great video and very well filmed, nice to get a reminder of all the great places on my doorstep (most of which i haven't visited) 😊❤
Thanks Andrew, much appreciated for your feedback and we are glad you enjoyed it. Sounds like you better get out there and start ticking some off your list! 😁✌️
Just stumbled on your channel guys. Well done, we've subscribed. Looking forward to the next one! We love the Peak District!
Thank you so much!!! 😊 We've had to postpone this week's video by two weeks, but will put a trailer for it out on Instagram later ☺️👍 our best one yet!!
Great job of the video. I thoroughly enjoyed it and living in the Peaks; I felt your choices were spot-on. 😊
Thank you very much, that means a lot to us. We hopefully have another similar peak district video coming out today or tomorrow. See you in the next one :) ✌️

Great quality video guys , I feel so lucky to live within the Peak District
Thanks so much for watching, we are glad you enjoyed the video, we too feel very lucky to call this beautiful part of the UK home ☺️
Cheers For the info. Great work xx

Hi guys, really enjoyed this video! As someone who has lived in the Matlock area all my life I have been to all these locations many times - except snake woodland!! Never heard of that so will have to take my little family for a trip there 😁 You guys somehow forgot about Dovedale and the Stepping Stones though
Thanks so much and small world! 😅 We are thinking of doing another so may make the list! 😁 Thanks for commenting!! ☺️ We have another video out next weekend 👌👍
great video guys -- been to many of these wonderful places -- such beauty on our doorstep as i live in derbyshire i find it fascinating that these places are only a hour or 2 drive away --- i would love to see more pictures and drone videos of places you have mist -- like - dovedale, roaches, jacobs ladder, kinder scout, kinderscout resivoir, lady bower resivoir

No problem glad you enjoyed it, were looking forward to heading back to these places for sure ☺️
I seen this Via “American Reacts”. Just wanted to say your video is fab, beautifully done. I live close by and love having this on my doorstep. It’s an absolutely amazing place with a vast range of history. Thank you and safe travels.
