Sounds like Lil Steg is a go. Cool! I have a Holosun SCS green dot on my PDP and love it. My eyes have always sucked seeing the color red. To me a red dot looks like a transparent pink even with it turned up bright it’s hard for me to see. The green dot stands out excellent. It is bright, but doesn’t effect me at all with target focus. And no, it doesn’t “wash out” against foliage. Foliage isn’t that bright. Whoever says that must have trouble with the color green. That is a thing as well. So whatever works for you.
Problem with Holosun's Green Dots is that for the red dots they coated the glass so the same color of red does not go through and cannot possibly wash out the dot. They JUST use that same glass on the green dots! So the right shade of green can wash out the green dot, but it's impossible with the red models. (I've never had happen IRL but I'm in California desert) I noticed this when using a red laser bore sighter on my first green Holosun. Just try putting the different colors in front of each other and see if you can see the second reticle through the glass.
Local gun store doesn’t have an XC but they have a P with a comp. The guy keeps telling me it’s the same gun but I’d save $1500. As a salesman he sucks because I’m ready to drop another $1500, and he won’t even try and order me one.
Consider making a video on thumb safety manipulations. It is a contentious subject with SAO guns. Some guys train to flip it off only when gun is up, some as it clears the holster. Some flick it off when gun's in the holster, intentionally and not. Could be a useful vid.
@@Bryan-1980 I thought the Shadow Systems changed the grip angle to a more standard one? Other only modern polymer frame duty gun I can think of with a Glock grip angle is the Steyr pistosl.
@@UrbanDefenseSystems I know the first gen shadows didn’t have the best grip angle but I haven’t got the hands on the the new one yet. I’ll be shooting one next month though on a range trip.
So with all these high round counts compared to a more casual shooter, how many rounds would you say you would go through a gun before you decide to retire it or do a major parts overhaul (new barrel, guide rod or other internal parts) and continue shooting it out?
I could be wrong on this but, the prevalence of 9mm minor in the Uspsa open division answers your question. It’s essentially non existent. 9 minor in limited division is at least somewhat competitive.
I had a new Staccato P with DLC barrel and all the goods and really wasn't impressed with it. My Sig P226 XFive Legion blows the staccato P out of the water and it was $350 less.
NOOOOO YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO LIKE IT, BEN
Your kidding right? 😂

Thanks to you I ordered my XC today and can not wait. Thanks for all your input! Please keep up the great videos and opinions!
Ben how come you never buy a Stoeger pistol. Come one it’s right in the name!!

So far I’ve loved mine! Thank you for the excellent review. Not much love at matches, except from other 2011 owners!😂😂😂

Ben… Do a video comparing a Cajunized Shadow 2 OR vs. the Staccato P. I have both and find that I am faster and more accurate with the CZ.
Next up, the new staccato C with 17 rd grip. 😋
Does Ben ever conceal carry?
Yes
Does Safariland make a holster for the P? Maybe I'll buy one, someday when I'm more prepared
You gotta get a Platypus, think of the customization possibilities
Did you already change the recoil spring like on the XC?
2 days ago: unboxing video
Today: 1,000 rounds video
Goddamn man.

Did I miss the drop testing on this one?
I think the green is better?
How does it compare to the pdp steel frame
What do you think of the slim grip and mags for the new Staccato C?
Im buying one after a TTI Canik. The Canik wasnt a priority for me until i had one in my hands.
If you don’t mind the Glock grip angle, why not go with the Shadow Systems XR920P?

@@BullseyeBallistics-kf1jw ok just checking. I’m not a Glock fan either but I also sold my Canik combat two weeks after buying it. That’s why I asked.

50k for pistol and 25k rifle.
I'm not gonna be able to get any work done with you posting several times a day Ben. My wife and my boss hate you 😂😂
What are your thoughts on people that say you don't need a comp on a 9mm that you just need to train more?
I could be wrong on this but, the prevalence of 9mm minor in the Uspsa open division answers your question. It’s essentially non existent. 9 minor in limited division is at least somewhat competitive.
I’d say both are correct the comp is like an optic, makes it easier.
Dang your fast I wish I could shoot that often. Good vids as always
First in! You're killing it of late boss, carry on
At my age, I can't see 50 yds
@kevinallies1014 oh I do, but my kids know better.
Does it need the same spring upgrade as the XC?
no
Now get the XL and you will have found Staccato’s diamond in the rough.
Hehe the “side by side” remarks are great. All the XC fanboys act like it’s a night and day difference between the P and the XC but it really isn’t.
I think it’s time for you parrots to come up with another word for fanboys
