- Hello and welcome to Buke's World auto DIY's.
This is a short video to illustrate how to remove the door panel to access a number of components behind the door… Components such as window regulators, speakers, sideview mirrors, door locks and handles, air bag, control units, etc...
This illustration will work on all E63 / E64, 645, 645ci, 650, and M6 BMWs. This covers the range of BMW 6 Series Models from 2003 to 2010.
Hopefully, this video will help you in the task intended. If so, please drop me a Thumbs Up 👍🏽, Like, Share, Comment, but most of all, Subscribe to the channel to be notified whenever I post new videos. - Авто та транспорт
Great video thanks I'll be disconnecting the batter with that air bag in there
Great video - very useful!. But RE: removing the door mirror, there is a THIRD screw behind the trim (so forming a triangle shape of screws). This needs exposed and removed before the mirror will come off.
Thank you. You are 100% correct. Unfortunately, I didn't find out until after finalizing this video.
Thanks bro
Any time

Man, brilliant showing me how remove the panel but im back to see how to put this back on?! 😂 time to be patient I suppose 😳
Glad I could offer some help 👍🏾
@@BukesWorld so the trick was to make sure the rubber window seal was fully flushed along the top (mine came loose), then keep the panel at the same hight...pushing it forward back into position...making sure all those plastic lugs are lined up or you'll bend one and it will break like one of mine did 🤦🏻♂️😂 ...test the window and door locking mechanism before screwing it all back in the reverse order. Thank you again.
Great video. Thanks.
Thank you. Hope the video helpedget threw task done.
Hello
When I try to close my windows (from each sides), it has an anti-trap function and the window going down. It's difficult to close the window in every side of my E63. I need do a quick press to button a few times to close them successfuly.
Did u have the same with closing window? What's the solution?
No. I didn't have that issue.
My doors are squeeking pretty loud when rolling down. Does your windows ever do that? I don't know if something needs lube or a seal causing the sound. It's happening on both windows. Any ideas?
Hi. I never had this problem, but it sounds like you could use a silicone lubricant for the window tracks. Don't quote me on this because I don't know where the squeak is coming from exactly, but this is a harmless shot at fixing the problem. You can grab some lubricant at any auto parts store or auto section of Big chain department stores.
If that doesn't solve the problem, you may have to remove the door panels and lubricate all joints of the window mechanism. Keep me posted. I am curious as to the origin of the squeak.
I have a problem on the driver's side, my order no longer lowers the windows, and the mirrors no longer work on both sides
But I can open my windows and close them with my key, but not the mirrors
On the other hand, I can still open my window on the passenger side with its switch
the problem can lie or please?
I have two error codes in memory which comes up each time:
93C9 no LIN communication to the driver's side mirror
93CB: no LIN communication to the switch block
I'm not sure what the problem could be ,but I would start by checking the switch
