Wicked footage
Thanks mate
So basically if you see the drone flying near you gtfo. Got it
Pretty crazy to think this probably happens hundreds of times a day across the world where people are just completely unaware of it
So my lesson learned is “if you see a drone hovering over you at the beach get the fuck outta the water”.
0:44 that shark got rhythm
If you surfed for a year or more in California or Australia or Hawaii I guarantee there has been a Great White or Tiger that circled nearby just like this one in the video at some point.
You know what is strange is that I use to dive around San Diego all the time back in the 80's and 90's and I never seen one great white, but seen everything else from dolphins to close encounters with whales to elephant seals. I guess I was just lucky. :)
I once heard a lady in Hawaii ask a lifeguard if there were sharks in the water. He replied that if you swam in the water, you have already swum with sharks and just didn't know it. He was trying to reassure her that it was ok and she should just forget about it and have fun in the water, but I don't think she (or I) found it very reassuring. ;-)
Lol that's fairly true. If you swim in the ocean it will happen eventually. Thankfully most of them don't really want to attack you. Just enjoy the water!
I wonder how many times that happens a day where a shark shows up takes a look and swims away.
If it was a bull shark, it could have been a different story
"That seal's too skinny"
It's like that dog in the park that's cruising around, kinda says hello, but doesn't stop for a pat.
awesome footage! Not truly stalking, but the shark def checked them out. Kinda reaffirms the idea that most human attacks are mistaken identity.
Thanks for watching
First time hearing a bass beat while watching a sneaky shark. Was surprisingly good
Fascinating footage, the shark swims to within a few metres of the surfers and soon realised with the clear visibility that it wasn’t the food it was after and turns away from them 1:30
Death is always just a few feet away. Nice footage. The sun reflecting through the water onto the shark looks amazing. Reminds me of the ship camouflage during WWII.
Yep it was a great day to film, nice lighting and good water visibility
That moment when you realize you are alive because the shark wasn’t hungry.
i never go in water without my orca
Drones should be used as part of shark surveillance.
I've had several Hammerhead sharks following me when I used to windsurf off of Siesta and Lido beaches off Sarasota Florida years ago.
I wish this video was longer! I don’t know why but it was very relaxing to watch. I think it’s my love for the ocean or marine life in general. I’m glad everyone was okay though!
Brilliant video, the footage was unreal. I myself lived and surfed in Australia in Perth/Fremantle for 14 years, you always use to see sharks but never really payed much attention to them. But it does scare you the first couple times seeing them
Thanks for watching Jamie
I had a shark encounter in Australia when we went surfing there. It was a beach close to Burleigh Heads / Surfers Paradise. The shark was just 2 m away from us and curious. I‘m such a shitty surfer; it took ages to get out of the water. It was a shocking experince. The amount of fear almost made me faint. The only good thing was the adrenaline kick, which was epic. The next day we went back in the ocean to overcome our fears.
Wow - 2m away, that sounds really frightening. I am glad that you are o.k. Really brave of you to go back into the water the next day!
Snorkeling in Maui and an 8 foot Tiger just leisurely swam past about 10 yards away, never even gave me a look. I could have beaten Michael Phelps back to the beach (easily)! Fairly sure I set the new world record in the 100 meter (laughed at my wife for being so slow). Figured all I had to do was beat her back to the beach (ha-ha).
My arse was twitching along with the beat.
The video is amazing, maybe get a speaker on the drone to warn the surfers?
What beautiful clear water!
That's why I will not go in the water past my ankles!! True Story
Shawn White don’t be a pussy your missing out on so much
There needs to be a universal move that drones make when there''s a shark nearby. Amazing we haven't seen more footage of people getting attacked.
Just an average day at the beach in Australia.
I don't get how surfers can be so casual about this. I just don't freakin' get it. My cousin is a surfer who casually punches sharks in the face and laughs about these kind of situations but I just don't get why anyone would go into the fucking water when there are sharks like that. It literally makes no sense.
Best swimming footage ever...
Fantastic flight thanks for sharing and let’s keep on Droning a Canadian 👍🇨🇦
That thing is so close to shore
I wonder at what point they saw the shark. I also wonder why I didn’t see brown stuff coming from them...
Dam good footage ! I always carry my 3 foot pitch fork with me when im wading on the beach surf fishing down by Grand Isle . I keep my heavy duty 6 point pitch fork nice and sharp too ! Its the best weapon a man can have at his side ! A lot of people don't know that its convenient to carry it too ! I just stake it in the sand next to me with a rope attached while im wading and fishing . Shark are real vulnerable around the eyes , head , and gills area and will disengage from there pursuit and NOT come back ever again when being hit around the eyes region areas .... trust me ! Never know , it might save your life one day ? Always come prepare I say !
Wow, lucky surfers, to not only not have been attacked, but to see one of these awesome predators so close in its natural environment.
Outstanding footage...Excellent
Thanks for watching
I cant belive how close it is, and they have no idea.
Not really stalking so much as having a look on the way past.
Thanks for watching Louise!
@@theroguedroner No problem, amazing footage btw 👍
I’ve been in this situation. You just have to stay calm and just b one with the ocean. DO NOT PANIC AND PADDLE OBNOXIOUSLY!!!!
I swear Australia is one of the most dangerous places in the world
It makes you wonder how many times a shark has been near by unbeknownst to us each time we've swam at the beach
Soon as your feet leave the bottom you become bait! Just keep that in mind.
Just love it... 🤩✌️👊with or without music
The US military needs to conduct drone-strike experiments on those great white sharks.
Only if you give the sharks some surface to air missiles to make it an even fight
i don't even want to no how many times this has happened to me , the ones you cant see are the nasties
The water is beautiful !!! If that was me I would be haulin' ass out there just to be safe. Losing an arm or leg isn't worth it.
Shark is all " haha yeaaaaa.. nobody can see me... I'm invisible" sees drone " oh shit!"
As a surfer if you knew how many sharks got that close to you then you pretty well
wouldn't worry about them as we are not typically their food.
Insane footage!! Unreal.. what a beast.
I wouldn't have been as calm as that bloke, I've been that close before and I was literally walking on water!!
What is a sharks favorite meal? Seals-(which are black and swim around)
What do people ware when surfing? Black wet suits (and they look just like Big seals from below) hmmmm food for thought.
New rule: Dress less like seals :-)
Thank God that shark wasn't that hungry or they would be gone.
Can't believe how close to shore he is. AH!
So I learned we are all just top water baits.
Did the shark pick the music?😁
When you recognize this song from Roblox. It plays during a level on Speed Run.
Amazing video by the way.
Lol cool
I always think how interesting it is that sharks resemble snakes in how they move.
Yo thats scary. I normally go out way further then that, now I know Great Whites can also go where I swim i'm gonna start to swim closer to the shore. I live down here in melbourne so we don't have alot of shark attacks but still, just incase.
Beautiful. Looks like a Great White to me, just pokin' around.. Most sharks steer clear of humans once they work out they're not fish or seals etc.
Yes I think this one was just inquisitive. Though it did double back for a second look. Thanks for stopping by
Fascinating. So it’s true that sharks literally study us underwater before deciding to attack or not. Yikes 🥶
Put yo hand up if you just started bobbin yo head when the music kicked in on this vid 😂
I surf the east coast and this is always on my mind,
Beautiful animals. Amazing footage. So fascinating, scary too. But the "music"..........well.......hmmmm...yeah. the music.. Hmmmm...well.. ..ähh....yes.. tastes are different i know. Greez from Bavaria germany
I’ve always wondered if a sharks ever been that close to me
Never going into the ocean again, thanks.
How about a 5 drone system programmed to scan the break at a sufficient height and can recognize large predatory sharks, thus sounding an alarm siren on the beach warning bathers and surfers to head for shore.
That would be cool. Definitely a possibility in the future especially as battery length improves
Sharks swim by us all the time when in the ocean we are just unaware. Most sharks bite out of curiosity and/or confusion (you looked like a seal floating in the water).
That’s Amazing dude
Lucky Kid just rubbed Dencorub on His Dicky Knee in the carpark!
The other Bloke in the shorebreak keeps burping His Sardines on toast.
Amazing capture Dude.
What a beautiful fish
I'm staying in the pool!
Typical of the area...If you go north up this beach and surf at the northern end some miles away
( same beach...it's a long one ) you will find plenty of sharks. I know I have seen them and also I
know a dude that lives up there and he saw a 15' shark about 20 ' from the shore..BE WARNED
Do you mean Blackhead back beach? It's at the northern end of Nine Mile. I will have to go and check them out sometime! Thanks for watching
I surfed all the time growing up but when a local guy got eaten I’ve never been back surfing suppose you have no fear when your young
he just wants to play a bit...sharks are humans too :D
Music like the shark at the club. LOL.
Amazing footage
This is my favourite beach! I've swum here hundreds of times in my life... :O omggg
Savage... Very clear footage 💪🏽💪🏽
That’s a sick beat!
that was awesome
This is sharks way of window shopping.. I guess
... but never stopping to buyyyyy" (yet)
Anyone else see how it turned away once the guy put his legs in? Like he realised it was a person not something else
This is why everytime my friends ask whether we surf or play chess, I ALWAYS fucking choose chess.
Haha yes chess is a
usually a safer option
Why not. They invited themselves to the dinner table.
AWESOME VIEW
Yes good footage .
After all we do enter a different environment this is a good reminder . Though the shark didn't seem to be stalking just cruising the shore line avoiding the creeters in his domain.
I just keep thinking of the shark swimming around constantly seeing the fallout 4 (Detected) notification going "WTF how am I spotted?"
they saw him ! looks like seals to meee
exactly why I don't surf
N E V E R going in again...WOW!!
Sick!!! 👍
there should be a way to alert the surfers, either lying left right left right suddenly or low passes. Did your attempts worked? what drone type do you fly?
Unfortunately the attempts were unsuccessful this time. They did include a low pass or "swoop". You can see one of these in the video towards the end with the two surfers. Thankfully this shark was just cruising past as most of them are out there. They're not really interested in the surfers.
Nice music tks.
When a drone is flying over you, don't be distracted by it, just look around you. kkkk
Hi liked and subbed 😸 👍
Amazing footage mate!
Great White says :” Vegan everywhere now” sighs, swims off. “ Where are the edible meatheads? I want meat”.
Just like dogs. They never bite until they do. Just takes once.
Great footage, bro. Seen u on the news last night. I only hope this doesn't lead to idiots tampering with this natural environment like humans own everything n can do what they want with it.
I surf this very spot, by myself, probably a good 200 times a year on average. I'm absolutely certain I've unknowingly been in this situation countless times. Never even seen one shark out there tho. Only been called in once by some groms who saw one cruise right past me.
So chew on that for some odds of how likely u r to actually get attacked by one of those beautiful beasts.
They r majestic creatures n humans r no more worthy of life than the billions of fish and other sea creatures that get devoured by them every day. We risk becoming their next meal every time we enter their domain. That's just how it is. It's called nature, n should not b tampered with in any way.
Thanks for watching! Yes you've probably had lots of shark encounters without realising. Thankfully from what I've seen, these sharks aren't really interested in attacking humans and they're unlikely to harm you.
Damn ... It is huge.... How they didn't see it is beyond me...
