Sounds great as always, skrie! It's a shame the Peak was so quiet (when you were using it as a soft accompaniment in your left hand) compared to the CP4 and Behringer, but your playing more than makes up for that-and you get great performances compared to many guys with vintage synths.

Thanks for your praise , I'll think about what you said about that left hand volume next time I'm mixing. I have the velocity sensitivity set really high to get that expressive capabilities when playing it with 2 hands. But there's no reason to pump it up a little when mixing. All my studio needs now is that Behringer DS80, and it'll be complete :)

Very nice! Not sure what controller you are using with your left hand, but it really sounds like polyphonic aftertouch. Sounds great!

It's a Novation SLMKII , it sends Channel Aftertouch only. I use a Cockos/reaper script that assigns poly-aftertouch to the last played key. The result is fairly satisfying, but it's not really polyphonic aftertouch cause it only works on one key and you have to be rather precise when to apply the touch. If you accidentally play another key a bit later than the one you intended the pressure for, the aftertouch is assigned to that note instead. If you are a Reaper user you can find the script in this thread : forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=20347 (If you're not a Reaper user, it has a free demo that lasts forever for you to try the script out. )

Man,,,, that is sooooo beautifull, you play with lots of emotion. I have a little reface CP (and 88 keys controller), 3 Deepminds and now i think of selling my JP-8080 ans Novation KS to fund a Peak. Did you use some external effects ? The patch you get with the Deepmind is MARVELOUS !!!

Thank you :) Yes, I use an external reverb plugin (Native Instruments Replika). I also use the Reaper Stereo Width plugin to give it something extra. On the master buss I have a Mastering Plugin (Brainworx Masterdesk). I don't know what it does exactly, only that it's addictive. I'm getting a bit tired of my Deepmind to be honest. All the patches I like only star the saw-tooth. Everytime I try to use the pulse or whatever you call the other waves everything turns to ****.

inspiration-black-hole-negating-strategy-suggestion 1: Make similar versions of other classical pieces you like. Ever heard of Tomita? :-)

I think recording a nice cover or another classical piece is a really good idea. Thanks. I think I'll do that.

@@skrie Make it classical enough to avoid copyright conundrums. That might namely be the next UA-cam trick from the ever greedy music publishers. And I am not even joking!
