- I've not been very creative lately. But I've still spent a long time with all my instruments just improvising. Here's me just toying away for an hour with my many toys.
I've not done any editing , so there's plenty of nice mistakes to enjoy in this Raw performance.
(and me trying to figure something out about my arpeggiator around 9:00...which is kinda silly. )

I'm using a lot of Poly-Aftertouch from my Ensoniq TS-10 to play the Novation Peak.
Above that is a Deepmind12 setup with a nice patch I created a while back.

The instruments in the background are not really visible in the video.
It's a Yamaha CP4 and my Novation SLMKII controller.

I'm soon going to change my setup to move all the instruments back around me.
(I had to change my studio because it's now also my office where I have horrible
meetings during the daytime because of stupid corona bullshit)
I'm also planning on installing some lights to make it easier to shoot video
without spending a lot of time setting up lighting and camera.
So...hopefully this is the last cumbersome dark video.
Excellent work. I think it's nice to hear raw improvisation when its a skilled musician.

Well, wadajaknow! The masterr is back!. I am off course going to listen to this with all due attention and respect.
I made it an hour so it would cost you all your spare time. Anyways... it's pretty rough... so, better wait till I upload some actual work.

I could produce a brilliant complete album out of this! Chop out a few rough spots. Go where the best suggestions would take it. Add spots of rythmic repetiton extracted from some of the arpeggio's. The possibilities are almost endless. Excellent stuff!
My favorite bit is the little piano variation between 3:48 and 4:40. (Very Vangelis Amore : Ma Dove Set ua-cam.com/video/22am7Ghrtls/v-deo.html )
@@skrie Stil you wondered some time ago if you would ever be able to escape the Vangelis touch. However nice this is, I hear a lot of even more interesting moments where a personal style is trying to break through, like for instance the bits from the 6:00 min mark upwards).

Too rough, eh? Only after more then 8 minutes the first real dodgy spot comes in, you hairy, talented (beep)! :-) Do you also record these as MIDI files while running? Then it would be easy to fix stuff such stuff in a second refining stage. That is also how I work.
There's enough midi. But I've just finished redoing my whole "studio" and I'm pretty sure better stuff is coming out very soon.
@@skrie I'd love to experiment with this MIDI file. Hey maybe I should become your producer! One question: Why didn"t you put the setup in a corner with one row below the window?
@@marcbrasse747 I have considered it. But these tilting windows aren't to be trusted if you leave them open slightly and it starts raining. And I like to have that window open sometimes without fear of water falling all over my equipment. That couch can take it and I like having a couch in my cave anyways. Also the room is longer than wide. My desk fills the room too much when set to one of the sides. It fits best against that backwall.
@@marcbrasse747 Also... I checked the file for midi and the midi input from the Deepmind itself was apparently never recorded. (midi was sent to it from other sources, but where I played the Deepmind using its own keyboard I failed to assign a midi channel to record. )
