Hi, Nate this is Jermey McGuire Country Roads is my all time favorite country song. I have so many memories of Santa Fe, In Galveston County Where I lived almost my life. Now I live 3 or 4 hours south where I lived. When i hear Country Roads play.” I close my eyes and go on a long road trip down memory lane!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Just returned from WV. Wild and beautiful it is. Felt compelled to learn this song. I picked your version and glad I did. Your teaching technique is detailed and articulate. Thank you!
Nate, you must be a mind reader. I was going to request this one. I used to be able to play a basic version on the guitar and had been looking for a good piano version. Thank you so much.
I really enjoy your version of this song. I think the rhythm you used by going back and forth with the left hand octave notes give the song a unique "country" feel. Sort of a boom chicka pattern like on the guitar
Hi Nate. I always loved this song and still remember the first time I heard it so long ago. Special memories. Your teachings and the sheet music are encouraging. Thanks, John 🎶
That's definitely a great suggestion! Written by Carole King but the James Taylor version is just as famous. I'd probably base it off the Carole King version since it's on piano...but the James Taylor key is better for my voice...hmmm
This is so great ! Would love to hear some more John Denver (leaving on a jet plane?) or alternatively some Townes Van Zandt or Arthur Russell Love your channel thanks for all you do !
Thanks for the kind words! Oh man, Arthur Russel is one of my all time favorites. I haven’t thought about doing any tutorials on his songs because he is relatively unknown and there wouldn’t be much of a demand for it. But I will muse on it
Great video, great videos. I'm playing and enjoying the piano again. Thank you. Can you do a tutorial for the song " Can't find my way home" the Zakk Wylde version? Thank you
Hello, Nate. What about "Hurt" by Johnny Cash. I know I'm asking for a new song everyday. There are just so many I want to learn and so few You Tube Piano tutorials. I've said it before, no other tutorials go into as much details as yours. Simply wonderful. You make it so easy to learn.
Hi Swarna! Thank you for the requests...I dont think I'll do this one, I've been focusing on older songs and for my next Taylor tutorial I'll probably chose a more famous one of hers. But this version is pretty simple, just right hand quarter note chords and left hand single bass notes, this chord chart looks accurate to me: chordsworld.com/taylor-swift-daylight-chords/
