She straight looked at him like she wanted to slap the bejesus outta him and his pause button finger.
Yup! Lol
I felt that look lol and he was so oblivious to it 😂

Toumas: Floor can you sing this?
Floor: Hold my beer.....
Yes! We were doing videos somewhere else but in order to get suzi to do more reactions we are building the studio at our house. She needs to be in all the nightwish video reacts!!! Hopefully by the end of the week we will have more!!

The best singer on the planet with the best live band in the world!!! Nightwish Army incoming!!!! Great reaction guys!!! Might I suggest 7 Days to the Wolves Live @ Wembley?? Prepare for battle!!!!
I will have to look that one up! we will try to keep up there has been so many suggestions! guess we will have a lot of material to work with and to enjoy!

I ll wait for it
So, this is Wacken Open Air, one of the biggest Metal Festivals in the world. Over 82.000 people were in the crowd this evening and I was so lucky to be one of them. An evening I will never forget. It is still in my top 3 concerts, only toped by Queen (live in Muinich 1986) and TOOL (live in Berlin 2019). I would suggest "Dark Chest Of Wonders" from the same gig. It was the opener to this show and they really came out with smokin' guns, as you should when opening a gig at Wacken. Greets from Germany!
Queen, Tool & Nightwish. The perfect combination. Spiral out. ✌
82000!! wow I cant believe you were actually there. That must have been awesome!!
@@Someguy_8e2 I agree that would be great
your a singer but sorry... no one matches Floor Jansen. O and she can do opera and growl. Tuomas the keyboard player writes 95prct of their songd.
The Wolf HunterZ Indeed. You actually saw maybe a tenth of the crowd. It was packed slmost to the tents in the back and to the side. Great experience. Wacken is the holy ground for metal. It will be desrly missed this year...
Everything about this concert is impressive. One of the things that I don't often hear anyone else point out: The intermezzo of the score.... band exits the stage, leaving 82,000 metalheads to listen, for a whole minute, to the London Symphony Orchestra and a gospel choir.... and the crowd is so mesmerized they fall silent enough to hear crickets. Let that sink in! :)
Yeah, they don't call it a Floorgasm for no reason. Floor is absolutely stunning, magnetic, ethereal, magical and INCREDIBLY talented.
First rule of Symphonic Metal UA-cam - ONE DOES NOT PAUSE IN THE MIDDLE OF EPIC PART OR GUITAR SOLO !!!! And especially, ESPECIALLY(!!!!) not in the middle of Floorgasm ! :)))))
lol i guess i had to learn the hard way lol! but it was just so shocking!!
@@TheWolfHunterZ Also watch until the end of the video :)
@@TheWolfHunterZ the girl looks disappointed in you when you pause...she wants to rock!!
Yup
Totally agree ... You just can't pause whenever u want, u need to feels when. But since this is their 1st, I think its understandable
Tuomas Holopainen is modern time Mozart.. He is behind those genius music performances..
Nightwish is a Finnish symphonic metal band formed in 1996. Nightwish is one of the bands that developed and elevated symphonic metal to popularity in the late 1990s.
More Wagner than Mozart
“My soul trembles when she sings...” I watch every reaction of this song I can find. That’s such an awesome comment...
The lead singer, Floor Jansen, is a VIKING GODDESS! She has the voice of an angel! She is UNBELIEVABLE! So much talent and the stage presence to boot! I’M IN LOVE!
"You stopped it tho"
...she gets it
"Its ok I'm gonna bring it back"
Nice save.
lol I was over stimulated.... it was toooo goood! lol
@@TheWolfHunterZ You will get used to it, don't worry.
Just kidding, Floor's voice never gets old. :D She still does this to me after some 20 years listening to her.
After watching about a hundred of these, this is the kind of reaction that makes it fun when you find it. And Floor had just joined the band less than a year before this. It was her Nightwish coming out party, and the fans attached themselves real quickly. Rejuvenated the Band AND the Army.
thank you we had so much fun doing this. I want to do this all the time now! but I cant get to it as often as others. We will do our best though. So was there someone before her?
Yes, floor is preceded by Annette, and the original singer, Tarja
@@TheWolfHunterZ Tarja Turunen was the original lead singer - VERY powerful operatic vocals. Somewhere between light lyric soprano and full lyric soprano. AMAZING. Her tenure was from formation of the band in '96 to late-ish 2005. There was an ugly falling out at that time, that caused all parties a lot of hurt and grief. Especially Tuomas the mastermind. That episode is the subject of another of his masterpieces - "The Poet and The Pendulum".
Then in 2007 they picked up Annette Olzon. A beautiful voice in it's own right, but more "poppy" all the time. Great for studio work, but not so much for live rock/metal shows. Not my personal favorite, but MAN could that woman sing jazz!!!!!! Hint: Nightwish attended the Montreux Jazz Festival and that's on UA-cam. She either left or was dismissed in 2012 (I'm not clear on that), mid-tour. So to finish out the tour...Enter The Valkyrie. Floor Jansen. She was called by them right in the middle of her sister's wedding. There's a video on UA-cam called "Please learn the setlist in 48 hrs." all about it. Needless to say she did, and the rest is history. As has been noted already, this 2013 Wacken show was towards the end of that tour, and her "coming out" party. She hadn't been formally invited to join yet, but obviously that happened very shortly thereafter.
A lot of information, I know, but you seem like the kind of person who goes for the nitty-gritty details. Cheers!
Less than 2 days before this consert !
@@ari4681 well the 'learn the set list in 48 hrs.' was earlier in the tour, but this was their first time playing together in front of a stadium crowd. I only started listening to them via the Reaction channels, and now when I go back and listen to Tarja... my ears hurt. Some songs were good for her, and some weren't at all, and the same with Anette. Floor slays every one of them though. It's as if Tuomas wrote these songs for Floor without even knowing it.
"My soul trembles when she sings" That reaction is so common when Floor Jansen sings that thete is actually a word for it. It's called a Floor-gasam
The world welcomes the USA in discovering the real music.

@@MissSylvia67 I should have worded that differently. My bad I really just meant many not all lol
Committed following is an understatement. About 82,000 fans at this one.
I’m starting to see that! So amazing !!
But they are not only there for Nightwish, its a three days Open Air Festival in northern Germany, near the City Hamburg.
@@marcbaur677 True... when they had this concert they had kind of lost their reputation for being a fantastic live-band. Anette was very good in studio on Dark Passion Play and Imaginarium, but struggled live and especially with some of their older material.
At this point Floor had just been singing for them for under 10 months, and i guess quite a few havent heard about Anettes exit and Floors entrance, and was aware about her caliber. I my case i wasnt very hyped about Nightwish, since i discovered them in 2001. Tarjas high-pitched voice was a little too much, and i wasnt curious enough.. then i saw this 2,5 years back...
@@andreaspedersen3952 the other thing is, Wacken Open Air is sold out in between of 24 hours, long before any Band sign for the Event, so no one knows which Band is playing there If they buying their Tickets.
@@marcbaur677 I'm pretty sure they pulled most of these 80k people, though.^^
I greatly enjoyed your reaction. The Wacken 2013 concert is the best place to start a Nightwish journey. 15 songs. All great with excellent audio and video. Nightwish is best when viewed live. They do soft, medium and hard. Floor sings any style. Metal, pop, rock, classical. She does it all. Even throws in a growl where it’s needed. The Nightwish Valkyrie commands the stage at an impressive 6’1” tall. She is also an extremely nice and grounded person. No diva here. For something harder try Romanticide, Storytime or Ghost River. The bassist, Marko, has a great voice also and joins her on some songs. Do Ghost River if want to see his backing vocals. 😄🤘
That’s refreshing to hear thanks for sharing. I will check it out!
great suggestions, i would add one; Song of Myself .
@@Dianen65 Song of Myself! My favorite!!!
For Floor it always helps to have 80,000 back up singers in the crowd. Nightwish fans are in a world different category of loyalty. The Nightwish Army will tell you whatever you need to know. Fantastic.
There are 82,000+ people in that crowd, and she controlled every single one during this song! This is also song number 13 in the a set list and she nails it! I saw them live in Wembley in 2015 and it was the best night ever! And the composer of all the songs and lyrics is the keyboard player, he is also one of the founding members, but the others to pitch in too
This is the Floor "sampler" you get a taste of where she can and does go in other songs with her voice. This band defines epic music and their live shows are so full of energy. Lots of great live performances to watch. I'm sure Sonny has shown you how mindblown he is by them. All the composing of the music and writing of the vocals is by Tuomas the keyboardist with a few exceptions which the bass guitarist Marco has written or co-written. speed metal, power metal, heavy, celtic, folk they go all over the place.
yes he loves them! He is careful not to share too much though at the same time so we can experience Nightwish as he did. He has shared some with me but we made sure Suzi knew nothing! makes it fun! I have to say I LOVE Tuomas!! I want to learn from him!!
That whole Wachen concert was jaw dropping. Nightwish is incredible. I love seeing people that haven't seen them before reacting. They always act like 'why I haven't I ever heard of this band before now."
is it that America hasn't really discovered her or is it just me? Seems they are big around the world though.
@@TheWolfHunterZ UA-cam reactors have helped a lot
and the record company seem to get it as well,
unlike some others who shoot themselves in the foot.
@@TheWolfHunterZ A lot of their songs are too long for radio (4 minutes max., this is 10 and others are even longer) so they don't get any love there but radio - as such - is becoming increasingly archaicized by platforms like UA-cam - which also spreads the word very efficiently. GLS has to be one of the most reacted to songs on UA-cam for example. They are huge throughout South America as well as Europe.
its Wacken, not Wachen.. Wacken is a hell of a lil village xD \m/
The look on the singers face every time he stopped it in the middle of an incredible bit of singing XD
shes a powerhouse
I so love it when other musicians are blown away by this band and by Floor's voice
You could hear violins. Tuomas, the keyboard player, composes most of the music and the background music as well which is arranged by Pip Williams and played by the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the Metro choir. The drummer makes sure the band a backing tracks are in sync.
If you want to hear Floor Jansen growl the it's Yours is an Empty Hope, if you want to hear her scream then Romanticide. The Bass guitarist is also a fantastic singer on both the songs I have mentioned. Enjoy.
I do want to hear her growl so I will check that out but because of what I like to do behind the scenes with our band I have to say Toumas is now my new favorite person
@@TheWolfHunterZ we call him the metal mozart😜🇳🇱🤘
The frequency-sweep scream in Romanticide sounds like an effect. Sure, a real-time effect on top of the voice, but still.
Ah, you spoiled Marco/Marko. :)
@@TheWolfHunterZ The only thing bigger than Tuoma's talent is His ego. But what the heck, the guy is a genius
The look on Susie's face is priceless as she's robbed of a floorgasm as Travis stops the video in the middle of an epic part. If you guys stop to comment, you should pull in back maybe 10 seconds so it doesn't take away from the full effect.
The very essence of "Right there! Just like that! Don't stop!" being ruined by someone thinking if they're getting that feedback, they can make it EVEN BETTER by completely disregarding that feedback and switching places while changing the motion lol
He totally didn't get this at all. Susie understood the performance to a tee. He was so focused on how many people were there & saying random things & Susie kept trying to bring him back into the actual performance. I actually felt sorry for Susie. She really needed to watch this alone. 😭
Floor is thankfully recovering from her Breast Cancer, they got it early so it was successful and she she still has her Gurls Thank God !! 👍🙏☺
And she's out there with Nightwish again touring now !! 🎶🎤
Great reaction! it looked like dude was gonna get backhanded if he paused it one more time, lol.
As to other ones to react to..."Everdream", "Storytime" "Romanticide" from that same concert.
If you want to hear Floor do quite a bit of deep growling, "Yours is an Empty Hope" @Wembly
Also there's the entire Beste Zangers show from 2019, She sings "Phantom of the Opera" with Henk Poort, the phantom himself.
ENJOY!
Hahaha! Yup! Cool we will check them out! Thanks!
Yeah I think we ALL might've gone backhand with one more pause 🤣
She was about to have Floorgasm, but she was interrupted.
@@Euroreissu typical man. Stopping right before the woman is about to have her first floorgasm. Now she probably has to watch it again and get a floorgasm all by herself.
Suzi appears to have fallen victim to a common condition that afflict's many NightWish fans. This condition is known to the medical science's as "Floorgasmus interruptus" sym those afflicted feeling frustrated and unfulfilled.
We have been taken on a "quest". You all have no idea. Nightwish Army incoming. Any song from this concert is worth a listen.
One thing to remember was when this was recorded, Floor had not been singing with the band for that long. Floor Jansen is the THIRD singer for this band since the keyboard player Tuomas (pronounced as Too-oh-mas) formed it back in 1996. So NIghtwish has been around for a VERY LONG TIME. Nightwish is one of the bands credited with the creation of the Metal Sub-genre called Symphonic Metal (according to wikipedia). All of the band members were originally from Finland, but Floor Jansen is Dutch and she is from the Netherlands, and Troy (the woodwinds player and rhythm guitarist) is from England. Nightwish best recorded concert to date is from WEMBLEY ARENA In London England which is on the Vehicle of Spirit DVD/BLU-RAY Set. Any song from the Wembley Show is what is highly recommended. Tuomas the keyboard player and the Guitarist Emppu, are two of the bands original members. Marco the bass player (looks like a Viking!) came a few years after the bands creation and has been with them ever since. The woodwinds player Troy joined the band the same time Floor did, and Kai the new drummer in the Wembley Show replaced the original drummer Jukka who is in this concert from 2013. Jukka had to leave the band for severe medical reasons, but remains as the bands Manager to this day. Kai the new drummer in the Wembley Show was hand picked by Jukka to replace him and Kai is one of his close friends. Nightwish has a HUGE following over the years and MANY albums which nearly all have gone platinum. My wife and I have seen them 3 times in concert, all 3 concerts about 2 hours in length, and they are ONE HELL of a wild ride. My wife and I were lucky enough to be front row center for all 3 concerts, and had VIP tickets and got to meet the band before the show. They are all some of THE most humble people we have ever met.
I would recommend, any song from Wembley Arena Show. Ever Dream, Nemo, I Want My Tears Back, Storytime, Elan and especially the song called Greatest Show On Earth, are some of the songs I would recommend. Remember, In Symphonic Metal the guitar is NOT the primary instrument, it is the Keyboads which reproduces what you might call as a movie-scorish type sound which is a trademark sound for this band. Welcome to the world of Nightwish.
Welcome to the Nightwish Army! Floor is a classically trained singer and vocal coach & one of the best anywhere. Definitely check out Romanticide (Waken), Ghost River (Waken), Devil & the Deep Dark Ocean (Buenos Aires), and Slaying the Dreamer (also Buenos Aires) ;-)
I noticed the classically trains part but didn’t know she was also a vocal coach

Listening to most singers, you can hear the song.
Listening to Floor, you can FEEL the song.
That's what makes her special in my eyes, I've only experienced this with live performances of a few other singers and all of those were legends in their own right (Freddy Mercury for one).
There has never been a frontman in a metal band like Floor Jansen.
Tarja wasn’t that bad either...
Michael F She is a great singer, but she lacks the theatrics, charisma and stage presence that Floor has. Floor reminds me of Freddie Mercury, you can’t take your eyes off her.
Patrick Nordsvahn absolutely ... with floor the whole thing is on a new level... I agree with you and won’t miss her 👍😊
maybe you forgot Ronnie James Dio
@@korvkioskshelvete With female singers, the only one I can think of that comes close on stage presence (but not vocal range, vocal power, vocal quality) is Doro Pesch. For male singers, stage presence, theatrics and vocal range (but still not quality) would be the Air Raid Siren himself, Bruce Dickinson. But those are much older and neither had the technical training of Floor - certain at their best, probably to a large degree now. It's that all-rounderness and having the training early.

Saw them twice. Their sound is perfect live.Enchanting!!
Great Reaction to a great band! Try "Romantacide", "Ghost River", "Stroytime" from the same Wakken concert, they will blow you away. The bass player Marco also sings and he will blow you away as well
such well rounded talent!
Yep, check "The Islander" live in Tampere 2015 for Marko singing.
Ok here is the amazing part of this. Floor, at the time this was recorded, was a temporary fill in member of the band. While on a very long tour like 20 months, the previous singer, Annette, being 6 months pregnant could not maintain the pace and was not so pleasant to be around. (very understandable and bless her for trying) The band called Floor, who was at her sisters wedding, and said you have 48 hours to learn the setlist and come from Denmark to the USA to replace her and finish the tour. There is a 2 hour video of the 'Debacle in Denver' where Annette could not go on and the singers from the band touring with them, Camelot, had to try and fill in holding lyric sheets and did an inspired job with help from the guys and audience. The bass player, Marco, can sing very well too. This Wakken concert was the last concert of the tour and their temp singer Floor had been with them only a couple months. Of course, they hired her as a permanent member of the band after this concert.
woooooooow that is a crazy story! is there a documentary or movie about this!?
Come from Denmark to the US?? From The Netherlands you mean. If you wanne tell something then know the facts and tell it good.
You can replace 'a couple of months' with 10 months. She first performed with Nightwish in Seattle on october 1st 2012. Wacken was august 3rd 2013.
@@TheWolfHunterZ plese lurn the setlist on 48 uur on youtube docu
The documentary is called “Please Learn the setlist In 48 hours” and us available to watch on UA-cam. I became a fan about 8 months ago..,discovered them on another reaction channel. I’m 73 and an old rocker..,Zeppelin is my bag...but I fell in love with this band and with Floor....one of the most versatile and powerful female vocalists performing today. She is Dutch, the band is Finnish, and they now have a sixth member from Ireland who plays the Celtic pipes when they do more folkish songs. The genre is symphonic metal, and seems to be most popular in Northern Europe and South America. Most of the bands in this genre are Northern European.
You also need to walk before u run . This whole concert was awesome. And they are so versatile. Maybe Romanticide , or storytime... then get those big boy pants on....
Great reaction, and very normal when you hear Nightwish for the first time. I've been listening (and a fan) since their origins back in 1996, and Floor, the current vocalist, is their third, and she is like the one ring, she binds it all together. Their first vocalist Tarja (now on a solo career) was very operatic, and has a beautiful voice, Annette, the second vocalist, was more mainstream, but had some great songs, too. Floor just combines both their ranges into what Nightwish is today. And you are absolutely correct, the lyrics being written by Tuomas (the keyboarder), their music is so immersive, score, and story laden, that it takes you on a journey that is magical. Keep on listening, you won't be disappointed. Also check out Floor's duet with Henk Poort from a Dutch show called "Beste Zangers." They did the "Phantom of the Opera," one of the best renditions of that song ever recorded (with a metal undertone, of course).
12:22 dude was this close to get bitchslap xD
That's hilarious, but it's true; totally ruined the flow. She's so drawn in, and you can see the sweet pain of anticipation all over her face. That vocal pulls the listener right along with it and you can physically feel the buildup to the big note. I can't think of many melodic passages that have yanked me around like that. Call it "melodic edging" before the Floorgasm.
You haven't lived if you haven't done a little ugly crying to that voice. 😂😱💜
Loved this reaction so much!
"Hey, Hey, Hey, Heey!" (+some arm movement) = Proper crowd control 😈
Cool reaction guys.
Cheers from Finland 🇫🇮, the Mother Land of Nightwish 🤟😎
glad you like it guys, brace for impact, the Nightwish army is coming on bard !!!!!! get ready to be "floored"
There is a mastermind: the keyboarder. He writes most of their songs and the lyrics.
1st time watching you guys the keyboardist Tuomas is a fricking genius he is the guy who wrights all the songs and brought this band together thank you Tuomas
Thoumas- the keyboardist... he’s the mastermind. Composes almost all the music... a true genius!
I was in shock after watching it I removed my headphones and said WTF incredible 😍 she’s gorgeous and that voice 🔥
Great reaction, from this concert whatever song you pick, all are at this level. Nice to have seen you both having your first Floorgasms, Floor Jansen the most versatile female on the planet. Opera, jazz,, pop, hard rock, folk, all kinds of metal included growling and screaming in all genres she shines. But as a Phantom of the Opera fan you really should listen to Floor Jansen singing with Henk Poort (original singer in the dutch version of the musical “phantom of the Opera”) in a dutch show Beste Zangers 2019, it will blow you away. Nightwish also has a phantom of the opera version but that was not with Floor but with their first singer Tarja, although Tarja is a great operette kind of vocalist most new fans ( from 2013) like me prefer Floor. Its up to you if you like to watch that video as many old Tarja fans requested, its a great performance too and Marko the bass player takes the male part in a fantastic way.
awesome!
Nice to see more people experiencing this :)
Same concert Romanticide, Song of Myself, Storytime, or most of their live shows are awesome.
Because touring with an orchestra is not logistical, they work with the London philharmonic orchestra to record backtracks for some songs :) Toumas fills in the rest himself with awesome multiple keyboard work :) They say Toumas writes & composes 95% of the songs, then they all meet in studio and work the songs together on timing, instrumentation,& how it will be sung.
They are phenomenal!!!
Also Seven Days to the Wolves, I want my tears back, etc, etc, the list is endless ;)
YES Toumas!! Be MY Friend lol!! Touring with a Orchestra and Choir is not realistic u are right! but did they ever do 1 show with orchestra and Choir? if not that would be cool if they do it one time!
3 Words....Nightwish Army incoming ;-)
Nightwish - Greatest Show On Earth live at tampere, is another super epic song/performance well worth reaction to.
It was suggested to do this one last. What do you think?
New subscriber and rang the bell. We are very passionate fans of Nightwish for the last two years and this was our first song. Want to join you on your Nightwish adventure. Every song from this concert at Wacken open air festival 2013, is unique and different. From you great reaction to GLS, you are going to like the play list from this concert. They are a very tight band live and, as you've seen, Floor's stage presence and vocal quality live is very impressive. Their live production value is top quality. What impressed us most when we first saw this video is how 82k+ rabid fans could become so quiet during the interlude, and then how Floor, 6'1" by the way, held them in her hands throughout. Of course there is also her last belt, THE FLOORGASM!! One last point, I believe this was the 13th song that night in a 15 song set. Enjoy your journey. Stay safe.
Thank you !!!
I really enjoyed this reaction! The Nightwish journey is a good one. Be prepared!
Thanks fo watching
Watch the whole concert. It is amazing. Nightwish fan for life.
Welcome to the Nightwish Army

@@TheWolfHunterZ of course take your time man
@@TheWolfHunterZ
'Hopefully' get her to do more?
Judging from her reaction to this one, I think she'd be pissed if you did a Nightwish reaction without her...
Yes, give everything away. Nothing like spoiling the few remaining blind reactors. Thank you so much. Also, the Nightwish Cruise version of Yours Is An Empty Hope is the tighter and overall better performance.
@@forgalzz7 ? What did I give away
I gotta say, Floor's presence, I mean I hear she is only 6 feet tall, but she feels and looks and sounds 12 feet tall. Magnificent! Those arms, those hands are their own superpower! She is the conductor of the mood of the arena!
🤘🤘❤🤘🤘 Sweet!!!! My favorite band!!!! 😁✌
Floorgasm!!!!! Everytime i hear her sing!❤️🤘🏻
Welcome to the world of Symphonic Metal,, Being symphonic metal allows them to take their music in several different directions. They have the long epic multipart full production type songs like Ghost Love Score, The Poet and the Pendulum or The Greatest Show on Earth.. Then they have several of the more classic thrash heavy metal style songs like Romanticide, Song of Myself or Dark Chest of Wonders.. They even have a very celtic rock sound going on in songs like E'lan or My Walden.. You chose, but the Nightwish Army loves it all..
Im am always amazed even after having listened to this track 100's of times, the power of 82,000 people chanting in sync. And the joy on Floor's face after nailing that last note.
The primary song writer is the man playing the keyboard. You have been Nightwished!, welcome to the Army!
I love this group! Totally sic
Touomas is the mastermind, Empu is controlling situation on the scene and they are all working together perfectly.
i am a 58 year old bold man where I can get that beautiful bleu hair but great reaction night is long journey but extremely beautiful floor hits your soul end make man like my cry ,with love from The Netherlands
very emotional!
@Semper verum both I am sorry for my English
I know this is an older reaction from you guys, but oh my... Pausing in the middle of a verse, in the middle of a crescendo, when Floor was doing her voice transitions... You committed every reactor's sin possible in a single vídeo. You only managed not to pause in the middle of a solo somehow... Take the computer away from this man! 🤣😂🤣😂
Nightwish is blowing the roof off.
