I never had heard anything from Amaranthe up until 2021. Then I heard Morten with The Dark Side Of The Moon and checked them out. Now Amaranthe is the metal band with the most albums on my shelf!
This checks out. Originally I thought he was Lucious Malfoy, but Alucard makes a lot more sense now. I had originally said that Amaranthe was a vampire, an angel, a werewolf, and a wizard. Turns out they're all vampires!
The song is great and Mikael's vocals fit well with the band. Now, I just hope he has enough charisma to deliver the goods live and this new era will definitely slap (with all respect to GG6, since he's a powerhouse and will be missed - more chances for new Scarpoint stuff though). Also, could we expect "unleash Mikael" songs for the new album and also future releases? Kinda thrilled about that, not gonna lie.
