I don't know if it's still available but there was a great mod that allowed you to build new settlements pretty much anywhere you wanted (within certain limitations of enemy spawning sites or important locations). Would definitely get it again if I play this again.
Yes! There are mods that let you drop settlement workbenches, but they have some stability issues, so I try and go with the dedicated mods that have tried to work out the kinks. That said, plopping settlements anywhere sounds like fun.
@@lastmangameplan I never experienced any problems and used this mod extensively, I cannot remember what it was called but I think you started out placing a camp site you could sleep in, and could then upgrade it to a full workbench.
What mod gets you the flame jet, pyrotechnics?
CVC Wasteland by CVC. That has a whole flame section for settlement objects that I finally found the perfect way to make use of.
