Fr..Proper Pokemon texturing and modeling not some lifeless moving statue, and proper move animation, especially contact moves like double kick or blaze kick. Genshin graphics would be a good pokemon artstyle, and ofcourse, better world details.
@@richardtaveras3593 open world the terastalizing multiplayer. The most accessible competitive format ever. All of these things arnt just minor improvements these are major shake ups to the Pokémon franchise. Doing all of this has been a major shake up to any Pokémon game
11:00 this makes a lot of sense. Wild pokemon would try to gang up on you if you mess with them and their buddies like some animals do in the wild. This would in turn make the players more inclined to learn moves that hit more then one target to be able to deal with multiple wild pokemon. Maybe GF would make a few new moves for every type that are multi target attack moves with this new mechanic.
the legends arceus erasure in the horde battle section was criminal and such a good representative of how much damage SV did all over again to the series
10:35 If they implement that kind of system, they would need to cap it at, say, a total of 5 Pokémon that you battle in 1 encounter. If they added this without any cap, people could get stuck in endless battles (with their only options being fleeing the battle) against hyper-agro Pokémon like Veluza or Tauros that constantly charge the player while their in battle.
5:28 fun fact the patent for console social features and game's social features handle by a third party service on console (held by sony and Microsoft respectly) expired this year, my main theory on why the switch 2 took so long is that Nintendo was waiting for them to expire since they would have to wait out the switch 2 to implement said features if the console was released before the end of 2024
10:46 Do you mean similar to Legends Arceus? There were times in Legends Arceus that if you are targeted by multiple pokemon and then encounter one, others will team up against you during the battle
My wish is to ride my shiny pokemon around the world, similar to Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee but Miraidon or Koraidon style. I remember when Pokemon games had these big cutscenes of the legendary pokemon, now it’s just a standard stand still title screen.
Good framerate, a controller that won't have fucking stick drift, and abundant content. I will be happy if they meet these requirements. Also secret bases would be nice to see again, the one thing I like the most from gen 3.
21:48 I don't think you should have to temper your expectations. Since the DLC, we've seen no releases from Gamefreak. The next generation game has longer development time and Gamefreak expanded their staff for a PS4 equivalent console.
The fact that gamefreak and tpc literally acknowledged indirectly that something went wrong due to the apology they gave us for the game releasing the way it did and the fact gamefreak is actually hiring gives me hope I think these last two games really show that gamefreak was not super experienced with console games as something went very wrong in development somewhere and they know it, I believe they tried to make something too ambitious to the point where they struggled to optimize it, hopefully they can make the next open world game work next gen.
Sv was the only mainline game where you had that big technical mess. Neither Swsh or Pla suffered anywhere close to that issue. I like the theory that they were making SV for a Switch pro that never ended up happening. So, they had to double back and try to make it work on the OG Switch. I mean, just a fully unlocked tegra X1 makes SV run at locked 30. It does make sense but of course, Gamefreak is incompetent angle sells more.
You’re doing that thing where you get unreasonable expectations. Well… unreasonable expectations, considering how the pokemon games were managed. But yeah, just expect cheap slop.
I want SWSH title screen back. Being able to see your champion team everytime you start the game up is awesome. It needs to be a staple. I have no idea why they took it out for games that came after.
@@SoulStoryMode lol when he said about epic cutscenes, I was just thinking about Final Fantasy games 😂 Yes, we need epic cutscenes with glorious epic music!
Pokemon NEEDS to seperate everything in game. SV almost had it. All those story lines shouldve had a start a finish of their own. Not all connect to one story or its all one story. We are fully open world. Also no reason to not allow all pokemon accessible in one game or every main game goin forward. We have home. I would like vgc to keep goin with the no legendary in battles lol. Full maps. SV had circles. So much more they could have done with the map. I would like in game chat with headsets. Not jus text chat. Better online play. It's more i could say. I'm workin watching this video lol
I don't want a new controller layout or button positioning to memorize. I don't want an underpowered system where devs have to accept 30fps as a standard. I don't want to have to repurchase the same games over again. Nintendo used to be at the forefront of delivering power, ""Get the power! NINTENDO POWER!", but that has taken a back seat to them trying to reinvent the wheel. I would rather they try developing a more powerful console than their competitors and innovating from there. Push Mario into VR headsets or even better, on to PC. The house that Mario built is a pretty lonely one. Online support is laughable. Have to buy an adapter just to get a mediocre connection. I understand the defensive argument that it's portable. I don't understand why that's a hill worth dying on. They could easily dominate the portable side with good sales of consoles like they have before. 2 cents still gets a lot I guess. ✌️
When thinking of gen 10, we have to take into account that gen 8 was bad because Game Freak didn't originally believe in Switch, and gen 9 because of that badass virus that paralyzed the world. So really Switch games had less than 3 years of development. If gen 10 has no issues at all and gets 1 year more of development than usual, we could see something epic coming.
Pokémon needs more than mere improvement on the Switch 2, it needs a full-on revolution.
We’ve had one with violet

It could massively be improved on switch 1...
The problem is that the graphics on the og switch are just fine it’s just that Pokémon makes no use of them other than Pokémon snap.

soy sauce on brownies is wild
I have a friend who told me his uncle put hot sauce on his cereal.
We literally can fly in sv
I agree with you
NO MORE DEX CUT IN ALL THE FUTURE POKEMON GAMES!
it really depends of the Devs unless they get lazy again 😂
Scarlet and Violet might be able to run on the Switch 2
Or walk possibly idk
We will only have legends za in the year 2025, is that what kingdom hearts 3 is?

They need to make these games harder, longer, add more depth, stop focusing on graphics and for once improve the damn gameplay.
I got some good news pal, they don’t focus on graphics either 😭😭
