I'm glad you like them...This is their second album.... Their first one is even better... but that is just a personal preference. It's like choosing between a Lamborghini or a Maserati. all the albums are great. and they have many Thanks
Hahahahaha.........Listen when I heard Led Zeppelin on the radio in 1969, tears ran down my eyes in delight because I hadn't never heard anything like this music and I could relate to it so much. And my friends heard Led Zeppelin and they felt the same way....and we would spend Fridays and Saturday evenings and nights while the adults and my family were playing cards and dominos and cutting up....my friends and I were cutting up listening to this album and other Rock albums in my room. And now I am watching you 50 years later in 2024 react the same way we reacted....Truly...TRULY a Blessing!!!! Because when I do cross to the otherside....I know Led Zeppelin's music will be living in you....and yeah we fell in love with Led Zeppelin and we weren't ALONE!!! Brah.....lol.....great reaction btw.
Very satisfying reaction. Most Zeppelin "newbies" are gobsmacked like you were. Yeah, they really ARE that fuckin good! I'm biased as they're my fav group, but most reactors seem to like just about EVERY last song by them they hear, no lie. I'd rec. the 1st album from 1969. "Babe I'm gonna leave you" will drive u outta your mind, dude, LOL. Same for "How many more times," which closes the album. Doing all 8 albums in order is not a bad idea, if u care to. Not many other groups can offer such sustained quality AND variety! Rock on!
As others have said before me, you're favorite Zeppelin album (or song) is the one you're listening to at the moment. BTW, recommend listening to the albums in order. You'll get a really good feel for how they evolved throughout their career. Glad you loved the album, always enjoy seeing the younger generations enjoying the stuff I grew up with. : )
Here’s the run down. Robert Plant lead singer harmonica & lyricist * Jimmy Page lead guitarist band founder producer editing & worked with the engineers also lyricist & music composer * John Paul Jones (JPJ) bass guitar keyboards mandolin multi instrumental arranger etc * John (Bonzo) Bonham greatest drummer every. Each are The GOATS of their crafts, & together The GODS Of MUSIC! Rock Blues Funk Folk Reggae Prog etc. Everything they do is absolutely great, you might find a couple songs your not crazy about, but you won’t hate them. It’s harder picking your favorites, highly recommend checking out Led Zeppelin I & III IV & the other albums. A song or two at a time, or the whole album again, us long time fans are here for the ride. The band play from August 19,1968 first rehearsal, until sadly September 25,1980 when the greatest drummer passed away. The other 3 are still alive, singer Robert Plant still tours today, he had turned 20 the day after Led Zeppelin’s first rehearsal. Their first two albums were released in January 12,1969, & October (1969). Thank you for your reaction, much more PLEASE!
YAY YAY & YAY Thank YOU!!! Best Band EVER!!! & My Beautiful Jimmy Page Magical Musical Genius Wizard Babe whew man Mad Luv (started listening to them & Pink Floyd when i was 8 yrs old) & just ALL of them Plant Bonham JPJ Other Worldly Fantastical They put me in a Trance BEAUTIFUL Reaction to My Beloved Magical Genius Out Of This World Led Zeppelin They grabbed me by my Soul & NEVER let GO!!!
You've gone down the rabbit hole that's led zeps music, ive been a huge fan of theirs since the very early 70s. Each album gets better. Still is. You don't get bands like them anymore. Enjoy the journey. Love ur reaction.
Zeppelin was truly a gift from God. They've been my favorite band since the early 70's. To me, there's Led Zeppelin, and then there's all the rest. No other band can come close to the GOAT!
Moby Dick live at Royal Albert Hall, is a 15 minute drum solo, by the greatest drummer ever John (Bonzo) Bonham. He plays the drums with his hands too, you’d love it.
I saw LED ZEPPELIN🐐🔥 in 1970, my senior year in high school. My first concert and first acid trip!🤪 It was a fantastic time to be young, wild, and a little bit crazy!💯🤗❤️✌️
Love Zep! I was a teenager in the 70s. This album is great but.. they all are! Every fan has that 1 fav, Zep III for me, but all of their LPs kick azz. Go down the Zep rabbit hole ❤
Congratulations! You're officially a Led Head now... I CAN'T WAIT until you give Black Sabbath the same treatment and Led Zeppelin's my favorite band of all time.
You should check out Moby Dick (Live at The Royal Albert Hall 1970) [Official Video]. It highlights the beating heart of Zeppelin, John 'Bonzo' Bonham.
It might be their best but others would go for #IV or Physical Graffiti but it is splitting hairs with their great albums, needless to say, as it is one of their best and one of Rock's Best Albums. Their first 2 albums are part of the template for all heavy music that came after. Led Zeppelin forever! Enjoy. 🔥🎵🎸🎤🎸🎹🎶🔥
Giving thanks where it's due.. always, everyday.. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit lights the way.. stay on that righteous path and it will always work out for His purpose in Glory. Love Led Zep since 70's, love seeing new generations hear our music for the 1st time and discover the sounds and talents.
They're from England, where all the great bands are from (most of them anyway). You weren't ready for those rave ups, lol. Another Led Zeppelin song you would "feel" is "The Rain Song."
On "Bring It On Home", the Sonny Boy Williamson tribute, the blues intro is Plant on harmonica and vocal attempting his best Sonny Boy impersonation. Then it goes into Zeppelin rock out mode and finishes with the Sonny Boy tribute.
Tbh, imo all of their 9 albums are a blast and most defenitive when it comes to Rock, Folk-Rock and Blues-Rock (except In Through the Out Door). Meanwhile they can also go from Ska into Proto-Electronic-Rock, Proto-Punk and Gospel. Their entire discoghraphy is kinda crazy because there's always a song that, looking back, seems kinda out-of-place, but they did it with so much quality that i can't do nothing more than appreciate it.
For me, LZ II and IV are the feel-good albums for every mood, including cleaning, jogging, driving in a traffic jam... II was somehow unique at the time and my first LZ album. Looking back, I really had to conquer LZ I, but over the years I find it brilliant in its own way (2 prog songs, 3 blues songs, 2 60s pop-rock songs, ...), but I have to hear it fully consciously in order to understand it to be able to enjoy. I would recommend that you also include it in your program because I would be interested to see what you discover. LZ III is considered the most acoustic; you have to hear it loudly and consciously to get the nuances, especially acoustic and electric guitar; It's worth seeing JP at its "picturesque" peak. All 4 albums belong in class S for me (I couldn't and don't want to classify them like 4 children). HOTH and ITTOD belong in class A; I don't like PG and Presence as overall albums; that would be a different topic. Keep having fun discovering music👍✌!!!
I guess I'll tell him it gets better with each album then you're confronted with what album is my favorite depending on my mode I can't say been listening to the Mighty Zeppelin since 1969 btw seen Led Zeppelin Live at the Tarrant County Convention Center Fort Worth Texas May 1977 Pink Floyd at the same place Led Zeppelin will definitely blow Pink Floyd off the stage in my personal experience
Another suggestion 🍃so you can understand who they were at 19 yr old and ready to write history. Watch live Denmark radio 1969 they will introduce themselves to you. Led Zeppelin “How Many More Times”💥

Zeppelin always “brings it home.” Check out their first album too.
I agree great pick, I love my Zepplin however Stairway to Heaven was overplayed as such would be my last suggestion as first listen. Cheers from🇨🇦
@ True, it reminds me of that old adage, “you can have too much of a good thing.”Cheers from Chicago.
@@kimberleyann7702I love the live at MSG (1973) more, yes for awhile I fell out of love with it too.

No bongos or congas - that's John "Bonzo" Bonham playing his whole drum kit (except the kick drum) with his hands. Saw him do it in 1971.
Now It 's time for you to react to Led Zeppelin 111 or Led Zeppelin 3. You are gonna Love it!
Good to see a young man genuinely smitten by the album that first did it for me. Led Zeppelin 4 next 👍

Hopefully you'll spread the word about this great band to keep their legacy going for future generations.
Led Zeppelin is estimated to have sold over 300 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling music artists in history.
Only The Beatles have sold more.
Yep. Bought my third album, Houses Of The Holy, two days ago. Vinyls for me now. They need to be heard in order of release.
Do the 1st album. When you're listening to it, remind yourself they have only been together for a few weeks when they recorded it.
Great album.
Yep about 2 months.

Yes, greatest rock album. Darkside greatest psychedelic, but Zeppelin is the king of them all.

Best Band Ever!!! Just listen all albuns...
When it comes to rock/pop there's the Beatles and Led Zeppelin, then there's everybody else.
Bonzo, on Moby Dick, is playing triplets on the single bass drum, one foot. Crazy. Nobody had heard kick triplets like that before.
