That episode reminds me of The Walking Dead when they maken an entire episode about a supporting character’s backstory.

Eric Carter, please read this. I noticed that the episode has put moments where Ellie is developing with Joel too early, as the scene was supposed to be in Pittsburgh. I think that the reason they are doing this is because they are going to be cutting the more important scenes and trying to take the growing of their relationship earlier so they don’t miss out anything important for the scenes they are cutting.Please tell me if you agree. Also, do you this this is good or bad? Note: thank you for all you do and I find so much entertainment with talking about movies. It really seems like an amazing talent you have. That's interesting. I personally don't mind if they change the order of their development.
I just hope that they are able to NOT compromise on the core of what makes their relationship so special.
So as long as they maintain that, I don't mind if they change the order around.
As for changing the episodes later. That remains to be seen. These first two episodes seem to follow the game very closely so far.
But that could change.
@@EricCarter12 episode 3 will be a big departure from the game but I think it's mostly for the best
man is gonna love episode 3, that was a absolutely great episode and I far preferred it to what we got in the game.

I'm surprised you didn't point out that in the show, they show you that something's off with Tess with her shaky hands, and in certain shots, you can see the bite on her neck. I'm also a little disappointed they didn't give Tess her backstory that was cut from the game.
I completely agree with you, I definitely liked this episode more than the first not that first was bad. I do agree the music can be weak at times but I hope it ramps up. The one track I hope they reuse is some version of all gone for the more emotional moments as it's iconic and perfect

But I will disagree on your thoughts of the music being weak. I thought the music worked well because of how different it was. To me, Gustavo did a great job creating music that carries a familiar feeling and tone while giving us new composition. Then again, when it comes to film/TV scores, I'm an easy to please guy, so...yeah.

@Eric Carter, I heard about the new and rebooted DCU slate going forward and how they also greenlit the next Batman sequal from Matt Reeves, it seems quite exciting and concerning at the same time, what are your thoughts?
A lot of the music they used on the show is from Part II so that's why it doesn't sound as grand (if that's the word for it) as Part I's soundtrack did, instead taking the quieter somber side.

Hey Eric! What do you think about the trope of the big scary Villain making a threat to our hero(es) to get out of his way, or they will die, and it's established how they don't mince words: the boss has been killed people and make it clear the protagonists are no exception. Then, once the heroes basically don't listen then it's like the threat is meaningless. I can see where it can be broken but it.has started to get on my nerves recently.

I have a request, and that is to watch one of my favourite superhero tv shows of all time. Superman and lois.
THe story is fantastic, the characters are memeroble, the direction and cinematography is that of an actual films instead of a cw show, and I highly think that you will like it.

I haven't seen the show, but it looks pretty good. It really puts Disney Marvel to shame.

The sets are obvious green screen. The clicker effects looks like someone with a very cheap made Halloween mask.

I know people found episode 3 a masterpiece. I found it very fillery and a little boring and away from the source material.
I wouldn't call it the "worst episode," just the weakest. It's sad, yes, but you could skip from 18:00 to 1:04:38 and realize you spent a chunk of time, and nothing happens when we go back to Joel and Ellie.
I thought episode 3 was a waste of time.
Exactly my thoughts, the fact they changed their status to dead as well, might or might not be a problem.
I was so hyped for it throughout the day, but I feel like I could easily do without most of episode 3.
