- In my previous Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League video I talked about Arkham Batman's Death Scene and how it was an insult to the Legacy of Arkham Batman, Kevin Conroy and the Arkham Games Series from Rocksteady.
Now I am going to explain how I think the Suicide Squad Game could have FIXED Batman in Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League. Aswell as a comparison of the favouritism that the game clearly had for Wonder Woman, and how it did not have that same respect for any of the Male Justice League members.

If you are a true Arkham fan you know Batman would have no problem with these four villains in my play through I saw Batman twice stalking me which means he had prep time and has information since 1 he fought 2 of the villains from the squad already in previous games so he knows how to beat them. 2nd he’s freaking Arkham Batman the same Batman who saved the city from a whole military who was trained by deathstroke and red hood. I disagree that they disrespected Kevin yes but they disrespected Batman no Arkham Batman the best version of the character outside of the DCAU this Batman is special to me and millions across the world him dying to these 4 losers is just no way is this cannon to any fan because it makes no sense. If they wanted to keep the cash cow going they should have made a world’s finest game with Superman and Batman teaming up together but nope we got this game that disrespected the justice league outside of wonder women and make the squad have the biggest amount of plot armor anyone has ever had in a video game.
The good ending: Batman ends killing all of the Suicide Squad members and he stops Brainiac
Normal Batman has a no kill rule, that, would just put him in additional bad light. Mind controled and taking out the heroes of the stories doesn't really do him much good.

I rather have it that he escaped with flash and wonder woman and be a shaky ally through out the game and have a heroic final fight and manage to free Superman so the squad’s against brainiac works better.
I was actually hyped to play this game when I heard that Kevin Conroy was still doing the voice for Batman and that it would be his final performance, but after seeing THAT scene I just avoided the s**t show.
Same I wish the game could have been better.

Sad fact: Sweet Baby inc wrote a lot of Dialogue, and probably also wrote plot points for the game, even though the last part isn't confirmed, I am betting all my money it's true.
Then you'd lose quite a bit if they didn't.
As much as they could have influence over the writing, they can't just supersede the writers themselves.
Of course, I'm also unaware of the writing credits of the game, so I can't say if one of Sweet Baby's writers got a large credit.

The only solace I can get from this is that people finally had enough and are now shouting louder than ever before, and Sweet Babcy Inc., the ones responsible for this mess, are afraid; you can see it in how they reacted on social media, they look like they are using the usual tactics against criticism, but they are only showing how much they are terrified. They are doubling down on their path of self-destruction; recently, an employee decided to pay "respects" to the recently deceased Akira Toriyama by trashing him, and the following backlash was so bad that she got suspended from her X account.
With people favoring games such as Helldivers 2 and the upcoming Stellar Blade, it took time, but the pendulum is finally turning, and the entertainment industry is suffering the consequences of siding with companies like Sweet Baby Inc.
And no matter how many journalists try to defend them, their house of cards is already falling.
Do not let Sweet Baby Inc. cook ever again,they should hire writers that don't have an ideology.

There's apparently a theory that the batman and justice league that died in the game were clones created by brainiac as there's hints of this in the game and is said to be revealed in the upcoming free dlc expansions

I do agree that Batman should have taken the Spotlight Wonder Woman had, for crying out loud she’s going to get her game soon but this Fake Rocksteady decided to Pissed Off the Arkham Fans and put a Bad Stain in the Company, even if the Clone Theory was True, the Damage was already done and this Poor Excuse of a Game made me appreciate Dewey’s Dead in Scream 5 a lot more than what they done to Batman, I’m pretty sure that this game was made for Ego and Feminism Agendas that it’s disgusting, also I found out that the Green Lantern Rings are programmed to be Non Lethal, which is one of the main reasons why the Sinestro Crop was Created as they are the Corrupted Cops of all the Lanterns.

I don't mean to be that guy but wasn't it just confirmed that the writer's who wrote Arkham Night wrote the story for ssktj and sweet baby inc wrote The dialogue.
I would instead have this game be a Superman game, think about it it’s a game set in Metropolis during an alien invasion, Brainiac and Lex Luthor are important to the plot and Superman was the first character we saw in the posters.

What KTJL should've been: Set BEFORE Assault on Arkham and Arkham Asylum (4 years after Arkham Origins)
Game is split into 12 chapters, 6 focussing on the mind controlled League (minus Batman), and 6 focussing on Brainiac and Lex Luthor (the secondary villain of the game)
Batman is a reluctant ally to the Squad
JL is expanded, and includes Aquaman and Martian Manhunter along the five from the real game
Batman would be playable (and is working alongside Robin and Batgirl)
SS is expanded, and includes Copperhead, Bronze Tiger, El Diablo, Giganta, Deathstroke, and Enchantress (most of whom die, and the other two (Tiger and Deathstroke) are arrested)
Penguin, Two-Face, and Riddler are a side story
Final boss is everyone against Lex, Brainiac, and Superman (who is saved from mind control last)
The League does not die at the end
Bosses would include Legion of Doom (which features Captain Cold, Cheetah, Sinestro, Black Manta, and Ultra Humanite) Gorilla Grodd and Titano, Penguin, Two-Face, Riddler, Starro
I feel they’ve should’ve done is that Batman wasn’t brainwashed but the rest of the Justice League were, it was only Batman and Flash who wasn’t brainwashed but later Flash gets captured by Superman and Wonder Woman, maybe later on Batman and the suicide squad will argue because Batman doesn’t want to kill the Justice League but the suicide squad does
Example: Batman and the suicide squad captures idk maybe green lantern or Wonder Woman and take them back to their layer or something but Batman is trying to cure their brainwashing mind control or whatever but the suicide squad wants to kill them so perhaps maybe we get a mini boss battle of Batman Vs the suicide squad, where Batman is protecting one of the Justice league member because he thinks he can cure them and the suicide squad tries to kill them because they think they’re a threat and there’s nothing that can be done
This will been amazing seeing Bruce’s reaction into seeing his friends becoming evil. How he would’ve felt so ashamed of himself for not strong or smart enough to save them, and maybe he could’ve tried to save Flash, and maybe he would’ve lost it when he saw that the Flash became evil
Oh and he Will obviously get Nightwing, and Robin for help, maybe we could’ve had a little scene between Batman and Jason Todd seeing them talk in a while after the events in Arkham knight

I got a pitch in mind that could've been a lot better. If they wanted to do an evil Justice League story in the Arkhamverse instead of a Superman game..... it should've had Batman as the main character instead of the Suicide Squad. Like you can keep the alien invasion and the mind controlled Justice League, but make it so Batman will cure them of their mind control and so you can play as each Justice League member you save. I think the game could be called.....Justice League: Doom.
The game would be set about a year or two after Arkham Knight with Batman still in hiding after the Knightfall protocol. The story kicks off with Bruce watching the news about an alien invasion and the Justice League are mind controlled. (I would have Starro or Despero as the main villain since I don't think mind control is fitting for Brainiac.) Bruce realizes he needs to do something since the entire world in danger and sneaks into Metropolis to investigate the situation. He'll gather info on how to combat the Justice League's powers so he can free them one at a time so they can help end the alien invasion. I would maybe have Batman team up with non mind controlled heroes since he might need help fighting the invasion. I'd maybe have Green Arrow, Cyborg and also Caitlin Snow aka Killer Frost since ice powers is a weakness for The Flash. Plus she's been redeemed as a hero in the comics.
The League would see Batman as a valuable ally after freeing them, but he's hesitant to open up since he needs to remain in the shadows so the world doesn't know he's alive. In the finale, Batman and the now freed Justice League works together to take down either Starro or Despero and saves the world. The League would then end offer Bruce to join the Justice League as they could use someone who's smart enough to even plan for whenever the League goes rogue. Batman is hesitant at first, but accepts the offer on the condition his presence on the League is a secret so criminals still think Bruce Wayne is dead. It would basically be a nice ending for Batman even though it's not a Batman game and without invalidating the Arkham games.
ALSO if it's a good idea, I'm thinking since Bruce would still be in hiding in the end despite being on the Justice League, he should at least have some happiness to look forward to and get some kind of life to cope with his inability to not show his face to the public. I'm thinking about having Bruce and Wonder Woman bond over the course of the game......and they'll start a relationship or at least be willing to possibly start a relationship by the end of the game. It'd be like a homage to Justice League: Unlimited and bring their ship from that show to full fruition. I think this could work since Diana's love interest is more interesting if it's a man with no powers who impresses her and Bruce wouldn't have to worry too much about Diana getting hurt because of him since she's a super powered warrior. Again even though they don't actually kiss in the game, it would still end with Diana getting Bruce to open up to a relationship and he would highly consider taking her word.

Eric I think that the new people who work at rocksteady should be fired and hired different workers that know how to make a great game and if that happened, then they can scrapped the suicide squad game and make a justice league or even a Superman game that fans always wanted so that way, rocksteady can make great games again and keep their business.

Your idea is better than writers
I still think the game even as is could be saved, lore and franchise wise anyway. Retcon the entire KtJL as the Arkham rehabilitation residents or some manner of medical coma or full immersion VR system as batman inches closer and closer to Beyond's timeline and tech levels.
It would explain and could write away literally any over the top or goofball writing as "Well it was a program made to reflect the ways the inmates view the world/would illicit the most appropriate response from the Arkham inmates that qualified for potential reform via the Suicide Squad training program". You could even use the title as the codename KtJL.
Like of course that's not how the Green Lantern's ring works, but the inmates don't need to know that, and the techs who 'programmed' the 'rehab simulation' wouldn't have known either. Might need some minor patches here and there or write away actual secret identities via patches or in lore explanations, but it seems the most viable patch to salvage everything without completely trashing it all and shutting down entirely.
If you ever decide to do a versus video for kung fu panda 4 then I think a good movie to compare it to would be ice age: continental drift. Both 4th movies in their respective franchises that drop off in quality from the trilogy. I’m sure Kung fu panda 4 is a better movie than Ice Age 4, and I hope kung fu panda 5 (if it ever happens) is leagues better than whatever collision coarse was. I just think these two movies have similar contexts to how they were made and received.

these games are my favourites of all time and introduced me to batman (way too young) and comic books (mainly batman) are the basis of what I want to do as an artist or creator so it quite literally has defined my life. So this game was just heartbreaking, I actually enjoyed the gameplay weirdly enough considering I don't like shooters but the story is just... so shit.
The story is exactly the same as lego dc supervillains which I love a lot, however there was one difference, the villains weren't the league but the crime syndicate. I made a massive 12 page pitch out of anger from this game for a justice league game (not arkhamverse just for more freedom and not to convolute this batman's ending) built off a similar base for batman like how spider-man's games evolve and how that can be cohesive for the other leaguers. I'm very proud of it but just made me more annoyed I came up with a pitch I know would be better than this.

I haven’t finished the game yet I very much enjoy it. I just got stuck on the part and got frustrated. But from what I remember because I haven’t played in like a month is that they said there’s no way to get the justice league out of this brainwashing. So how I always see it when I’ve heard about the staff is kind of like the green goblin and Toby Maguire Spider-Man. Where Batman willingly lets the suicide squad, kill him, knowing he can’t fight the brainwashing. Or did to remorse. did you remorse for the people he’s killed earlier in the game.

Batman switching roles with wonderwoman would have made the game a lot more compelling, I was already of the idea that wonderwoman and superman should have switched roles, but batman wonderwoman swap would be a pretty viable reason to side with the suicide squad for sure.

Arkham Knight should have been a game of the year. It's my favorite in the series, the combat surpasses city and asylum, it has the best graphics out of the 4, the batmobile is really fun to control. Shure, them introducing a dead robin while your trying to find out the identity of someone who knows to much is painfully obvious, but I like it. Arkham Knight is better than City, assylum, and origins.

I’m not saying this isn’t a decent idea, but it’s tiring and annoying whenever Batman is the only one not mind controlled in these JL stories like they can’t will their way out or resist it.
Many fans try to make it seem like Batman overcoming fear toxin should make him above Braniac’s mind control, when the two aren’t remotely comparable. Brainiac is a 12th level intellect, with technology far beyond this Batman’s capabilities. Batman villains, no matter how beloved they are, are small time when taking in the overall DC universe. It makes sense that he was overcome.
Wonder Woman being the only one left makes sense for her capabilities, gives the Squad an ally strong enough to save their asses if need be, but not too strong like say Superman where he can take on the league single handily if left alone against the league. How they handled it though was insanely poor considering how she just treats the squad like shit only for them to still respect her, and the other league members being treated like trash. She should’ve pushed more to save them by actually getting involved in their fights, begrudgingly share the contingency plans (since she seems to know about them in the Argus tapes), and overall make her seem both hopeful and intelligent, rather than just blindingly naive. She really came off that way when it came to trying to save the others with her stereotypical speech after Lantern’s death and Superman taking a nuke, despite how much she was sucked off she still seemed to be treated like an idiot somewhat.
I would have her use the lasso to break the league out of mind control after being defeated, to bring out their full selves at their most vulnerable. Have actual conversations and connections between her and the league as the fight goes on and after they’ve been turned back. Actually show the importance all these heroes have in the world, and what kind of consequences killing them would have if they are killed, or at least talk about what they could have. Like we kill fucking Superman of all people, who talks about how long he’s fought to protect them and the world (which honestly just feels like a bad attempt to make us feel more attached to him when this is the first time we see him), and yet with his death comes no mention of how bad it may be that we just took out the world’s once strongest protector. It’s just played for laughs and then quickly moved on from.
I have a guaranteed movie this year that’ll probably be one of the worst movies of 2024, this film is called Megamind vs The Doom Syndicate, as this is another one of those cases where they make a great movie and give it such a crap sequel, this is what they did with Chicken Run as well. And they didn’t have the original cast, and it went straight to streaming services. And on top of that, the movie has been massively panned by critics and audiences, with the latter criticizing its animation, lower budget, replacement voice actors, humor, and plot.
Like Sweet Baby Inc. have any respect for straight white male heroes.

I just thought it was because Wonder Woman fans were pissed from Injustice franchise and some movies painting Wonder Woman as a violent sexist character who slice's people's heads off so for this game they tried to make her more heroic but I can see where your coming from.
I don't remember that causing such a big stur. But even so, she's got her own single player game coming out. That's where they could have corrected things if they wanted too, not in the Arkhamverse.

I never liked this game
Eric this is a good video, but I have one criticism. It's that batman(Gameplay wise, not story wise) would die instantly because the enemies are fast and have long range attacks in combat, when in the arkham games, he needed stealth to beat them. And also the map would not allow any playable vehicle. This is your opinion and I am not trying to undermined it. But still I do agree that giving batman a more heroic death instead of a random character is far better because that fits Batman( and especially Arkham Batman).
Also, they should have made a Superman game that establishes supermans lore and show us the other Justice leagueers to show them at the very least to how they are as the heroes we all know and love

My brother in Christ, the only people Batman put away on this group are Harley and (maybe) Deadshot. Batman has no established connection to King Shark and Captain Boomerang prior to the events of the game.
Atleast Batman has Harley, and maybe deadshot.
And that's enough to have some intresting dialogue and conection to these characters.
But Wonder Woman?
She has no connection to these characters, whatsoever.
Just play Lego DC Super Villains if you want to play a better of this game 😂

Many people bring this theory as a fact just to cope that batman maybe will return, even though it's just a theory.
Not a fact, it still can be changed by the creator's.
But it doesn't matter anyways, cause the damage has already been done.
No matter how many Batman versions they'll gonna show in this live service game, if its a clone or from another universe.
They still killed Arkham Batman in the most disrespectful way as possible in Canon.
