So this is a funny (and kind of embarrassing) story about this workout just now: My grandmother walked by and saw me not able to get all the way up from the floor on the sit-ups. This 70-something year old lady got down in the floor and did the whole move better than me (I'm 24)! Then she proceeded to hold my feet and encourage me to do it. Gotta love grandmothers!

I remember a month ago I was doing this workout and I was not able to do the crunch twists at all!! I couldn't get myself all the way up! But now I was able to do it for a total of 4 mins without using any chair or any help!! I'm glad to know that my body has become stronger!! Thank God!!
I just wanted to say that having the countdown timer is great motivation. Just as I felt like i wanted to give up or slow down I would look at the screen and see that there were only 10 or so seconds left of that move which made me push through it. You're doing an amazing job, keep up the great work and keep the videos coming. Also loving your vegan recipes these days. Love you!

hey Cassey. so I am 13 and I guess not very confident with my whole body. I know that I am 13 and I shouldn't be worrying about my weight. 2 months ago I was finished track. During track I was running around 3 miles a day. I could see a difference in my ability to run farther but no toning in my legs. I started watching your videos and instantly fell in love. You motivated me to push myself. I did a butt and abs workout everyday after track. I saw slight toning in my stomach! my butt too! I was so happy and kept going. then summer came and I was determined to tone my butt, stomach, and arms. None of that happened. my stomach became fat again and my butt fattened. I couldn't do as many pushups either ): . Now I am back and I am hoping to tone again I have been eating healthy now I am going to start working out!! thanks cassey (:

I started to work out at the age of 10, but I was stopping and going back to my old habits. Now, I'm 14 and I don't care about losing weight or toning anything. I treat it as something fun to do and every change in my body is just an add-up. Keep going, it's really good you didn't give up and started to work out again. Make it a part of your life and I promise that it's going to pay off every day.
Christy Roberts you're only 13. Your body will continue to change and grow while you get older. I recommend just working out on a regular schedule and eating food that is good for you. Be good to your body, it will be good to you :)
Youre still 13, btw, you dont have to restricted your food, or try to make slimmer. Just.. Eat normal. Your body still growing, no doubt. If you cut consumption your body will stop growing, terrible. That's what my doctor said. But she said don't to put some weight like dumbell on, cause it'll press down your joint to taller.
I guess as a dancer I've been doing intense workouts/training my whole life. I recently quit dancing because of issues at my dance school. I went from training 12 hours a week (including netball) to only about 4 hours a week and I really noticed a difference in my body and the way that i run and my flexibility. So I'm doing Blogilates as a way to maintain my fitness/flexibility as well as running 3 times a week and stretching every day. I can already see the difference :) so i say that no matter how old you are (I'm 12 don't hate) I think that you should be doing whatever makes you happy and if having a nice looking butt or stomach makes you happy you should be doing that if it doesn't kill you in the process. Just be happy and healthy and don't listen to people who are saying that you shouldn't be doing something if it makes you happy (not saying that you guys were hating on her).

So I did a little modification to this workout. On the way up, I did regular situps and on the way down, I did the twist things. In conclusion, this was a killer 🔥

Michael Andrew my tip is a bit of a weird one! be naked more often! if you hang out naked all the time than you are forced to consistently look at your body..this motivates me because I am able to see the changes in it when i put on or loose weight and can't get away by hiding it under clothes! it also allows you to become more familiar with it!
I put a 5 pound hand weight on each foot, the bar over my toes, to keep my feet planted on the floor during the Home Base move the Crunch Twist. It really helped and my form was way better! I LOVE the Swimsuit Slimdown series Cassey!
I have the same problem and it sucks!!! It doesn't really hurt but I always feel like it's bad for my body so I usually stop doing whatever move is agitating my hips

Anyone else find the crunch twist near to impossible? :( I cannot for the life of me do it without my feet waving in the air/using my back instead of my abs....any tips? I don't happen to have anything to anchor my feet under, so can't do it that way.

Roll ups are for sure my favorite! I love being able to feel each section of my abs flattening out and working hard :) I LOVE doing your videos! then just try to lift your chest up as high as it goes, you don't have to go the whole way up :) And you can take a rest anytime you like, and then try lifting your chest up again :)

Jess Mejia Put some weight on your feet. I put my feet under the couch and it was easier to do it. Well not easy but doable haha
